Fantastic service and quality of food for a large party order of 75 people. We ordered all vegetarian curries which tasted great. The team were really helpful and friendly- can not thank them enough. Thoroughly recommend!

Excellent service and fabulous food. Would very much recommend to those who like Indian cuisine. Will definitely be returning soon!

First time visit with family. Food is excellent and the Tuesday special offer is very good value. The menu is extensive with great choice options. Staff are all very welcoming and friendly. We really enjoyed our meal at the Angel Spice and will definitely return.

Just had a very disappointing meal at this restaurant.Went at 5-00 thought they were doing buffet but were offered "tapas" meal 13-95 each.When it was served it was on a small tray between 2 of us,the lamb chops were tough and grisly ,the chicken drumsticks had hardly any meat on them,We came away not feeling we had had a meal.Wont be going again,Manager was very unconcerned.

Takeaway: The food here is always consistently top notch, never had a bad meal. Portion sizes are good, price a little on the high side compared with other takeaways but the quality of the food is well worth the higher pricing. I have had a variety of curries here and all full of flavour. I need to visit the restaurant to experience the ambience. I highly recommend the food here.

The restaurant was clean, table well laid and a lovely environment for an evening meal. The staff were extremely pleasant and knowledgable regarding the menu. In fact I told the owner my preferences and he recommended a dish from the main course. I was not disappointed in the meal which consisted of papadums, starters and main meals. The food portions were good and left me full. I would highly recommend The Angel Spice and will be visiting again soon.

We visited on the evening of Friday 5th January to catch up with friends who had driven 50 miles to have a night out with us. Although the service was good and the food very nice it was served tepid at best and as we were the only occupants after 9pm we were made to feel rushed and under pressure to eat up and pay the bill so that the owners could close. Also the temperature was way too cold and my partner even had to put her coat on near the end to keep warm. I noticed that only a tiny solitary electric fan placed on the floor was being used to heat the whole restaurant! This is the 2nd occasion this has happened. Such a shame as the restaurant is positioned in a prime village location and is letting itself down. Is it then a surprise it was empty ? ....

I came here for a surprise birthday meal- food was AMAZING and the staff were very friendly! Best Indian meal I have had.

Bash and the team catered for our party of 30 people - the food was incredible, and the guests thought it was the best Indian that they had ever had!! Highly recommend this amazing restaurant in Stilton. They even came and set it all up and kept the food warm.

A superb venue that catered to our every need. We held our work Christmas party here and nothing was too much trouble. The good, venue, staff attentiveness and overall atmosphere was absolutely incredible. No dietary requirement was too much trouble and Bash and his team made everything so special for Christmas and a 30th birthday. He pulled out all the stops - utter gold star service. Angel Spice is absolutely superb and it made our Christmas party. The kindness of Bash in particular deserves recognition - a humble, empathetic and kind gentleman who only provides the very best. Brilliant food, great value & friendly polite staff.

This was our first time eating here. It has good parking available outside, and a couple of good pubs nearby also. We were taken to our table , and the restaurant was already filling with other diners. There must have been at least 4 people serving - and they were all very efficient. Our Poppadoms and drinks arrived very quickly. The poppadoms are a decent size - and the pickle tray was really good. There was also some coconut in a separate dish, which was really tasty (if a little messy). A waiter then came and took our food orders and asked if we wanted another drink. The starters all looked fantastic, and silence fell as we ate. A short while later - our mains all came out at the same time. With a resounding sizzle , so did my mixed grill. The table was laden with food - which amazingly all got eaten. All the time we ate - the different waiters were asking us if everyone was enjoying their food or needed drinks. It was good to see them greeting their regular customers, almost as old friends. The only downside is that the evening ended too soon. The waiters were so efficient that we'd finished within 2 hours. Absolutely nailed the service, guys!! We look forward to eating here again.

We live in London Bd went down to Peterborough for a visit and dined at The Angel Spice. The place was great lovely spacious restaurant with loads of tables, booths and comfortable seating. Service was warm and friendly. Food was Delicious! It was cooked perfectly served hot and fresh. Amazing dining experience. A must visit when in Peterborough.

Our car broke down about 15 minutes away from this amazing restaurant and we thought it would be a nice place to get dinner: we chose correctly! We ordered from our car and picked it up on foot and I immediately got a great sense of atmosphere and friendliness when i walked in. The toilets were very clean and the man at the front desk was very friendly, polite and very happy. The lamb korma was one of the best curries I have ever had and the naan bread was delicious. The other members of my party had the veggie balti (which was apparently tasty) and the grill selection (which was also delicious!) The portions were perfectly sized and very filling so overall, an amazing indian place in the hometown of stilton cheese!

We were staying in a nearby hotel that had a very limited menu so decided to get an Indian takeout. Drove into the beautiful village of Stilton and found Angel spice. What a little gem on a restaurant. We were immediately welcomed in and escorted to the bar where I ordered a pint of cobra. We ordered our food and sat on the sofa to enjoy our drinks. The food arrived in a nice time and piping hot. I opted for a chicken Madras and my partner a chicken Korma. The madras was in my opinion the nicest one I have ever had. We can’t recommend this restaurant enough and it’s a real shame that we live in Kent as it would 100% be our regular restaurant!!! Fantastic food which I will definitely try again if I’m in the area!!!!

It was great to be back, we hadn't visited here for some time so decided to pay them a visit as we know the food is excellent. Walked in and was remembered and greeted like old friends, they even remembered what drinks we have and the fact we never order poppadoms, incredible considering how many customers they serve over the years..love the food, love the wine and especially love these guys.

Great evening on the anniversary night.

Really nice food but we were hounded the entire time we were there, the bill was brought to the table even though we were going to stay for another drink and 10 minutes later we had an EPOS machine literally waved under our nose to pay. Back of house toilet are was filthy.

Superb food We only called in on the off chance and were really pleased with everything. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was really delicious.

Everything tastes amazing, very attentive and they make sure you are comfortable. Good prices as well and very clean toilets. Nothing to complain about at all. We will be back!

The food here is excellent and the portion sizes are just right. An excellent variety to choose from on the menu and all the dishes we had were delicious. Good friendly service and prices. Very much recommend.

Food was okay. Naans were hard. Beer is cold and lamb was tender however Jalfrezi wasn't spicy.

Food was edible but no better than a supermarket microwave curry. Decor dated from high would be fine if the food was good. Drinks not served well, little ice and soda was flat and had to be sent back.

If you ever eat in this place , please don't ever get a STEAK . They have no idea how to cook it. I had to send mine 1 times back and even the 2nd time it came cooked wrong. I have ordered just a steak and mushroom and all 2 plates came with the 🍟 in it as well. I can't eat chips and when I asked waiter to remove chips he said that this is how it comes and I can leave it in the plate if I don't eat it. When i asked for the steak knife I been tald they don't have one . Over all experience not really good . 😕

Disappointed after being a regular for 3 years. Biryani no longer comes with vegetable curry but wasn.t informed of this change. Understand that portion sizes reduce but when prices also increase it is not the value it once was.

Ordered lamb korma, lamb dopiaza, coconut rice and bhaji as takeaway. Got home and have chicken korma. Paid for lamb which is a few pence difference. The chicken korma was great but if you can't get an order right on a quiet night. No idea how they would cope if it was busy.

Ordered to collect. We are regular customers. After adding up cost was overcharged by over 5 pounds and thats without the 10 percent further discount for collection! Not going to remain a regular if we cant be treated fairly! Very annoyed. Wont order again.

Unimpressed and disappointed. Ordered take away and after an hour of it not being delivered we called the restaurant and was told our food is ready they are just waiting for a driver. So ofcorse after another 30 mins of waiting, when the food finally arrived it was cold. The curry we ordered was very very dry. Also something very weird and very unprofessional happened - the delivery driver asked for a cigarette when he dropped off the food!!!! Whaaat??!!! Unfortunately this was not a very good experience for us!

Lacked meat, no flavour and everything was spicy even though we ordered medium or mild. Bhajis were burnt.

Great variety of food - took ages to make mind up but well worth it!!

Very slow service, 40 mins wait for a starter, then 20 mins wait for a main, was sat by a window which was open, so lots of little fly's came in, wrong nan, brought to table first, then other nan dry no melted butter ontop, and one piece burnt. Worst visit we have ever had, normally place is excellent.

The food was decent, but the main manager there is painful to deal with. Very abrupt and pushy. I asked for a bottle of wine and he told me a different one was better because the price was higher. He constantly tried to push us to do things he wanted us to do. Pack up our leftovers, take a group photo, ordering starters, etc... I would never go back here.

First time ordering from Angel Spice, I certainly won't be ordering from them again! My order took almost 2 hours to be delivered and I was charged £5 for it! The food was absolutely dreadful - the chicken tikka was tough, chewy and a very small portion - did not receive any salad also. The Pilau rice was tasteless and mainly just plain white rice. The Naan bread was horrible, undercooked and tasted like dough. Shocked how bad my meal was! Appalling!

Nice food. Very quick service. Probably seen as there was only 1 other table of 3 customers, as it was the Euros final. Very accommodating staff. Would recommend the meat thali.

Fantastic fond just off the A1. Parking is easy and it's just 2 mins from the junction. Great food very friendly, good value.

I've eaten in a few times and had good meals but my recent takeaway was below expectation. The korma was ultra sweet and the hotter curry had little taste especially as I was expecting a good dash of chilli and garlic. Other people speak highly of here and maybe my experience was a one off. I'd try it and decide yourself.

Just had another brilliant, tasty take away from Angel Spice. Thank you. My husband, Steve, said it is one of the best Madras he has ever had. Can’t wait til lockdown is over and we can eat in the restaurant again.

Lovely setting.....excellent staff..... gorgeous food.....we stayed at the bell across the road which is also lovely although with hindsight we should have had eaten at angel both nights as it was so good. The thali is an absolute must and we asked for a couple of dishes to be spiced to our taste and they were delicious. . Thank you to all at the Angel

We stayed 4 nights at the Bell Inn opposite , after reading the reviews of the Angel we booked a table.Wish we had not by the end of our meal. The restaurant is pretty gloomy and soulless, Poppadum's where stale, wife ordered King Prawn puri for starter which was good, I ordered Fish Bora which is stated as, Baby potatoes and cod cooked with light herbs and spices, so I was shocked to find it was a battered fish cake, fried, then Bombay Spuds put on top. It was soggy and blandMains. wife ordered Tandoori Mix Grill which to be honest was the worst she has ever had, overcooked, dry and covered in spice powder. I ordered the meat Thali which was ok but the meat was tough They even managed to give my wife a coconut naan even though she ordered a garlic naan£60 spent and both of us wished we had eaten elsewhere, never again

We were staying at the Bell Inn across the road , but decided to try Angel Spice for dinner one night. Booked a table online and received confirmation very promptly .On arrival we very greeted warmly and taken to our table , the restaurant itself doesn't look overly inviting , decor wouldn't be to everyone's taste , however this was secondary to the main event which was the food . The selection of different dishes on offer was very good and prices very reasonable , food service was very good and food quality was outstanding , we thoroughly enjoyed what we had but as usual over ordered and couldn't finish everything .It certainly is a place we will return next time we are in the area .

We had dinner at this restaurant. The food was really excellent, so tasty and well presented. The lamb samosas were the best I have tasted. The staff were also so helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.

We eat and cook a lot of Asian food. I normally have a Lamb Karahi or a Lamb Nihari when I eat out but couldn’t find either on this menu so I asked the waiter what might be similar and he recommended the Lamb Tawa which is one of the most expensive Lamb dishes on the menu. I went with it and was sorely disappointed yes it came on a sizzling dish which might impress some people but it really wasn’t great, far too much Tomato paste/ Purée, it could have even been Pataks. It was nowhere near as tasty as the Indian food I normally eat. It was edible but it wasn’t worth the £11.50 price which is pricey for an Indian meal. I wouldn’t have begrudged it at all if it was really nice. I’d have classed this as average run of the mill fayre and given it 3 stars if it wasn’t so overpriced for such mediocrity. The Nan bread was sweet too, no doubt altered for the perceived western pallet. The waiter was pretty dour too. On the plus side the waiter did appear to be doing a lot of cleaning. I’d advise you to pay a little extra and just go to the Bell Inn.

Once again a great meal and service from Bash and his team. All the tables are well spaced out and the staff wore PPE. Felt really comfortable, will be back again

Stayed at the Bell Inn for two nights, decided to have a curry on our first night. Angel Spice is directly opposite the Bell Inn. Good quality food and excellent service. Will definitely be visiting again when we are in the area.

Best Dhansak on the planet!! Moved to Peterborough 6 years ago and have been looking for an excellent Indian restaurant. Everywhere we have tried so far has been mediocre and we are so happy that we have found Angel Spice! Looking forward to the next meal already!

Unfortunately our second time having a takeaway, this time 1.5 hrs to deliver and a very average meal. Chicken for my meal was tough and grizzly. The rice v bland with only 1 mushroom! Will certainly shop around before choosing this place again. Such ashame as heard a lot of positives, we chose to ignore the negatives and form our own opinion. 3/10

Excellent take away meal last evening - perfect - speedy delivery - highly recommended

Over the lockdown period we have had a weekly treat from Angel Spice delivered to our door. Throughout Bash and his team have provided excellent restaurant quality food. We have, ordered a variety of dishes all of which have been good quality and very tasty.Thank you Bash, looking forward to you reopening again.

We are regulars at this restaurant but because of lockdown we couldn't keep our booking for mothers day weekend so decided to have Saturday night delivery, we had already asked Bash about delivery costs as we are a bit further out, he told us £3 we were ok with this but on the Saturday it was delivered we realised after working out cost of everyone's meal that they had charged us £7, this upset me as we were hoping to get regular deliveries whilst on lockdown but not prepared to pay that much.

As we live in Stilton we eat here a few times a year, always enjoy it, first time tonight tried the takeaway, would definitely recommend, well done Bash and the team, Thankyou for another enjoyable meal, hopefully won't be too long before the restaurant is open again, in the meantime wouldn't hesitate to use the takeaway service again

The food here is amazing! The guys in the restaurant are always very attentive. Highlights include the chicken sizzler, chicken madras and there's also a lot of special choices available on the menu if you fancy trying something new!

I’ve quickly become a regular here. The staff curry and naga chicken are both amazing! Always consistent.

My wife and myself together with another couple visited last Friday. Starters, mains and drinkers etc for four came to a very reasonable £100. Quality and quantity were good and we all left full having had a good evening.

The food is fantastic, by far the best Indian in the area, would highly recommend to family and friends! Take away service excellent... the staff say a time over the phone and they are always spot on with that! Staff over the phone always polite.
