The best restaurants in East of England

Great place , such a shame they have been closed for months. I hope they are not gone for good. I think they were last open in march or April . But seem to be gone without as much as a word of goodbye. Very strange

Just stopped for a quick coffee. Excellent coffee and fabulous cakes. We had the almond croissant cookie and the carrot cake, both of which were excellent. Highly recommended!

Great salmon and cream cheese bagel and the best cup of coffee in Yarmouth (the son in law’s an aficionado and he rates it that highly, so that’ll do me) Really friendly staff, nice atmosphere. Top notch!

Nosotros (grupo de 5 ) tuvimos un tiempo absolutamente brillante! El servicio fue fantástico, muy amable, servicial y atento y la elección de juegos fue increíble. ¡Ya queremos volver de nuevo para probar otros juegos que queríamos jugar pero para los que no tuvimos tiempo! Probamos una selección de diferentes bebidas (cócteles, batidos y cervezas / sidras), así como una gama de aperitivos y todos eran geniales. Genuinamente no puede culpar al lugar. Probamos un lugar de juego diferente recientemente y aunque más grande, el ambiente, las opciones de juego y la comida / bebidas que se ofrecen simplemente no se comparan con lo que se puede obtener aquí. Recomendaría encarecidamente planear una visita larga, hicimos 4 horas y honestamente podría haber jugado por aún más tiempo! 4 horas nos dieron tiempo para elegir un nuevo juego que ninguno de nosotros había jugado antes, aprender las reglas y la configuración y luego disfrutar de la diversión, después de eso jugamos algunos juegos que estábamos más familiarizados con para llenar nuestra última hora más o menos. Visitas más cortas funcionarían muy bien para jugar juegos con los que estés más familiarizado o tengas un juego menos complejo, etc. En general, lugar maravilloso, personal encantador, un montón de opciones de juego y sin duda volveré a visitar! Went for breakfast this morning with a friend. Could not fault it 10/10. Sausage was amazing, lovely bacon and eggs cooked to perfection. People working there genuinely interested in how our experience was. Will definitely return

Thank you for a wonderful high tea to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. Tash really pulled out all the stops with customised, individual menus & an amazing spread of food. She accommodated all our dietary requirements, including a delicious vegan sausage roll.

Great couples bar - landlady is very friendly does great tricks with beer mats and corkscrew - never seen anything like it

What a lovely little find. Visiting Colchester from Ipswich with my daughter and wanted a hot drink and a snack. We were wandering around and found this little gem. Small cafe. On sitting down we glanced at other tables and their food and we were tempted to rather than buy a sandwich or toastie we both had cheesy chilli jacket potatoes served with a little bowl of dressed salad and coleslaw. The service was both quick and friendly. The place had a nice relaxing atmosphere and some of the customers seemed to know the staff so it seems like they have returning customers. They also did a nice pot of tea.

Lovely setting we got there at 12pm and they had already run of the dish we wanted to order. Very reasonable price not sure I would go back.

We are a local football team and we visited in 3/11/2024 a lovely business run by really polite staff and also has a wide range of foods to cater for everyone and reasonably priced and I definitely be visiting again for sure 10/10 and also a very clean businesses and lovely hotdogs

Recientemente visitamos este café con un amigo que hemos estado allí antes, las parejas que dirigen el café son muy amables y la comida es muy buena, un domingo hacen una cena asada que es muy razonable precio como lo es toda su comida, yo recomendaría una visita si aún no has estado, pero te aconsejaría reservar si vas para el domingo asado.

Lovely place to grab a coffee, drink or one of there huge cakes or biscuits. Nice staff, reasonably priced

What can I say... The food was great, and great value too; the coffee was superb; the service was most excellent; and the ambience, well with it's quirky lay out this is a place you need to visit. I had a Cappuccino and the Bacon and Chicken Salad, and I had more than enough to eat. I can thoroughly recommend this place!

When driving through Thetford on the way to London for our sons 13th birthday, we thought we’d get a breakfast at Sainsbury’s, thinking it would have a cafe. I asked the sainsbury’s security guard if there was an in store Cafe, and he directed us across the road to this little gem!! Service was fantastic and the breakfast and cost were too. We’ll be back.
