La pareja que dirige este food truck es tan apasionada por la comida y apasionada por su pequeño negocio y se nota a través de la calidad y selección de platos que ofrecen. Creo que mi favorito son las patatas fritas con poutine o las patatas fritas de pollo. El tamaño de las porciones siempre es generoso y la selección siempre es genial. Pong was a place that was a spontaneous thing one evening, now is a must do anytime me and my friends go out. The activities there are brilliant from a regular game of ping pong to an extremely entertaining game of beer pong, with some variations with other spirits. The atmosphere of the place is always lively and jubilant, never has there been a time of boredom. The staff are the most down to earth and spectacular hosts, with Nes, Greg, Mark and Tadi always ready to greet you with the kindest smiles, no matter the occasion. I can only wish that everyone, whether living in Southend or just visiting, have the opportunity to go to this amazing place as it truly is one of the best places for all to visit. If I were to have one last night out at any establishment, it would unequivocally have to be Pong. Thank you Pong for treating me and my friends as if we had know you all for years. We all thank you.

A delicious and very welcome late lunch, all home made (celery soup and herby scone). I was so grateful to find the cafe, cheerful and prompt service.

Este lugar ha cambiado de manos desde la última vez que fui y ahora es un verdadero cracker. Fui con un grupo de amigos después de un trail run un sábado por la mañana y nos sentamos atrás en el patio. Todos tuvimos ENORMES platos de comida - ya sea pastel o un sándwich de desayuno - y todos estaban deliciosos. El café era spot on también - una calidad muy subestimada. Demasiados americanos amargados alrededor. Finalmente charlamos con uno de los propietarios y ella era amable y acogedor. Gran lugar para grupos de corredores y ciclistas, diría yo, así como aquellos que solo buscan un buen café y un bocado para comer en Sharnbrook!

This is my most favourite gem in Wisbech. The staff are fantastic and so friendly. The food is always fabulous and well priced. The cake is just amazing I’m moving away and wish I could take it with me as I will miss visiting this lovely cafe.

We came to The Swoop for a cocktail masterclass. Fiona was amazing, a real laugh and her cocktails were so good. You could tell she had a real passion for what she did and we learnt so much as well as had a good time. Miles was also superb and did some more cocktails for us after. The fact everything was locally sourced was even better. I ended up buying everything to make one of Fiona's signature creations. We'll definitely be back and I highly recommend a class at The Swoop, or if you want some local alcohol as a gift or for yourself, you must check the shop out

The lovely couple from the Papas Locas food truck visited us at the Alpheton village hall and I cannot say enough about both the food and the lovely owners of Papas Locas. So many great responses from everyone at the hall and we’d love to have you back! Highly recommend!

Me encantó este restaurante para una puesta al día familiar! En realidad, éramos los únicos allí al principio porque fuimos a cenar muy temprano, pero estaban felices de que nos sentáramos a tomar algo mientras esperábamos a mis primos. Tocaba la radio italiana, limones por todas partes era tan exuberante. Los dos comimos la burrata frita y estaba preciosa. El pan también era precioso. Las pizzas aquí son perfectas, mi marido es italiano y la masa es una de las mejores que ha tenido. También fuimos por las patatas fritas también y estaban deliciosamente saladas, sal adecuada! Servicio increíble! WC limpio también. Y realmente genial verlos haciendo pizzas. ¡Volveremos!

Best pop-up we have had at one of our events! Excellent communication in the build-up and the team arrived early with plenty of time to prepare. Super friendly team always more than happy to help The food is of a very high standard and presented very well. Fantastic choice of menu. Ostrich burger is out of this world and the brookie desserts were talked about by all guests. Superb value for money and leftovers boxed up to take home. Definitely, be using again!

My friend and I visited this little gem this morning for a quick coffee, we were so pleasantly surprised how beautifully decorated the coffee shop was, the place was so clean, the owners were so welcoming and kind. We had a taste of their freshly baked banana cake which was divine. I'll be definitely be visiting them more and highly recommend it ❤️.

Went in on a misty damp Tuesday lunch time. Though a little chilly inside, a lovely cafe with such pleasant lady in charge. Our sandwiches were fresh, great bacon and super sausages topped off with a very tasty cuppa x 2. Very reasonably priced and would recommend you try it. Will return sometime, thank you!

Great spot to pick up light bites and tea: coffee/ or even a smoothie on your way to a walk in the beautiful surrounding countryside.

Delicious crepe, really tasty with plenty of filling. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning!

We had a table of 8 for my 70th Birthday celebrations and I couldn’t have chosen a better place. I was a little apprehensive but as soon as I met Katherine (Owner) prior to our booking i was immediately drawn to the place. In regard to the food everything I ask for came out onto the table the food was amazing it was so delicious. We chose a Meze starter followed by Salmon, Shish Chicken and Lamb Skewers with the most delicious salads and vegetables and flat breads to die for, we also had Gorgeous Pavlova and a very varied Cheese Board for dessert the presentation was lovely, I honestly think Katherine old mke a boiled egg look pretty. Our food was served by Peter who assisted Catherine and he makes a very good Waiter. There was nothing we could fault and we definitely will be returning hopefully in the not too distant future.
