Just had a really good breakfast at Ljs this morning, lovely little courtyard where you can eat outside if the weather allows. A real treat with tea or coffee and toast included in the price of breakfast . Definitely recommended

Hubby and I took a rare hour for lunch together and decided to give Lj's a go. We were pleasantly surprised. We walked into such a warm welcome. Sat in the garden as the weather was beautiful. Such a little sun trap. Simple lunch, loads of options. I was a little worried as the menu is very heavy on the meat and I'm a pescatarian. Adapting the menu isn't an issue. I had a lovely prawn salad baguette and hubby had BLT baguette. I was starving so I didn't take a pic but the baguette was soft and the filling plentiful. We were well and truly stuffed. Such a friendly place. It's not far from our house so will definitely be booking in here again.

This brasserie is linked to LJ's sandwich bar next door. This is a recent add on in the old Knibbs Butchers shop. It has been decorated in a superb way radiating a lovely atmosphere with many interesting items on display. We went in a group of 10 on Saturday evening and the food was superb, the special platters of lamb and chicken etc were cooked delightfully so that the meat was succulent and not dried out. Served with rice, salad and fries plus a great range of accompaniments like Raita and chilli source etc. Other dishes like grilled chicken and Lasagna were of very high quality also. All the dishes were great value for money and the staff very friendly. This is a great addition to Gamlingay village serving good beer and wine. They also have an outside seating area at the back for pre or after dinner drinks. Keep up the great work. We look forward to our next visit!

Everything tasted very good, like of high quality for a full english breakfast; the portobello mushroom, very nice artisan bread, vine tomato etc. Service was perfect and the place is extremely clean

Had a great meal here early evening today with my grandchildren. Tasty, well cooked, homemade coleslaw ( not the usual industrial tasteless stuff - believe me, I'm an expert) and divine chips! Super
