We finished here because there is no real Mexican restaurants in Cambridge, but only 10 min away from Cambridge we fell in love with this cosy place with a very tasty food and even a better service. We will definitely come back. Pd: pork tacos is a must!

Definitely visit this restaurant! We had a lovely mix of food. Don't be put off by the small menu, the dishes are authentic and delicious. Wonderful atmosphere, run by lovely folks. Give it a go for something different to the usual chain restaurants. Will be going again soon and recommending it to friends.

This is a good place to get authentic mexican food, it's not a fast food place for convenience, it's a restaurant where they cook the food and make real tortilla's and tamale's by hand. The menu is good and simple, the owner whom I have met is charming and sincere in her attempts at bringing her culture and food to the UK. She is open to new ideas and might expand her menu to accommodate vegetable options, gluten free, dairy free options depending on how this will work with her original recipes and how it may taste as she tries to deliver a great mexican food experience to people. I enjoyed the beef cortadillo dish, while my wife had the chili con carne dish, fresh, great flavor, and very filling! This is a restaurant worth going to and trying out, food is homemade and tastes great! Restaurant is clean, nice atmosphere, and just off of the A10 heading to Ely from Cambridge.

nice real Mexican food by Waterbeach. limited menu choices when we were there but as we were driving by it may get bigger in the evenings. very nice people with fast service at a good price. i wish them well.

Calming relaxing and beautifully decorated Mexican restaurant, with caring service and lovely tasty food. This is place is well worth a visit !!!!

By far one of the best restaurants in the area. Great hosts with taste but tantalising food. This definitely a hidden gem in the fens.

Thanks for an amazing and a perfect way of enjoying a Sunday afternoon! The best place to try my first Roast, a Mexican shrimp cocktail with amazing music on the background it is all we needed! I come regularly, and every time I come, I am treated with high quality service by a great staff of people. The food is out of this world amazing, and I love to come by for a drink and just spend a good time. It is good fun, mates and I enjoy some time at the bar. I give the food a 100% and drinks and service is excellent.

My wife & I live down the road in Waterbeach & had seen a posting on our local village group praising the restaurant so we thought we'd give it a go on a recent night off from the kids. We weren't disappointed - it was so good. The food was just amazing. We started with some mixed tamales (very nice), my wife had the carne deshebrada and I had the pork belly & it was top notch. We were both practically licking the plates clean by the end of it. They were good portion sizes too. I would have loved to try some desert but we were stuffed by that point. The atmosphere is lovely too. It's a nice bright & colourful place. I also like how they had a separate bar area which it looks like the local villagers are often walking up to for a drink in the evening. Finally, hats off to the lovely family running the place. They couldn't have made us feel any more welcome and looked after. We'll be back soon with a few more people to help spread the word :)

Lovely food, excellent service and a nice experience. The menu is small however the food was incredible. I would definitely recommend to everyone. My partner and I went on Valentine’s Day and we were pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere and decor were lovely and the food was delicious.

Went for lunch here today. I used to live in Mexico City and finding a place that is not just TexMex and reminds me of the happiest of times is a sheer delight. The tamales were good, but the enchiladas were the best I have ever had since I got back. Thank you so much guys! Will go again without a doubt.

We visited Paraiso last night and were so impressed! Everything about it is 5 star, staff, decor, ambience, presentation and of course the food. We will definitely return soon.

The venue has been altered and decorated beautifully, with stunning table settings. We had the Sunday Roast, with a choice 3 meats (I had them all) and it was very tasty. We were given complimentary bread & oil; and macaroons. Will definitely be going back!

Had an absolutely fabulous evening in this lovely restaurant. The food was delicious. Maria and Paloma could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Thank you, we will definitely be returning. Also my husband recommends the tequila gold....

Travelling back and forth on the A10, I noticed that this former pub had been spruced up and renamed recently. I was intrigued by the name and the fact that it was advertising tamales, the most Mexican of comfort food, so decided to drop in with my partner last night. We were so glad that we did! From the friendly welcome from Maria, the delicious food, lovely decor, and attentive service, we couldn't have asked for more. I have heard that their Sunday roast is the best, but, on a normal evening, they offer an eclectic mix of authentic Mexican dishes and modern British cuisine. Whilst vegetarians are catered for, the emphasis is on meat dishes. We had tamales for starters, that came beautifully presented, followed by carne deshebreda (pulled beef) and the best Chile con carne that I have ever tasted. My Mexican companion was very impressed with the quality and authenticity of the food. The dishes are a decent size without leaving you too full, which is just as well, as the chocolate "ravioli" pudding was delicious too.

Great - and authentic - Mexican food, and British options available too. Puddings were very nice as well.

Excellent food - both Mexican and English food were very good. Food is quality over quantity (portions are not large but not unreasonably so). Taste and tenderness of the meat (Pork) was really good and the salsa and guacamole is beautifully fresh - to give the meal that bit of zing.

Who knew Mexico made it to the Fens? Scrummy food with haut cuisine presentation. We felt very special. More choice in beer would be lovely but the food is gorgeous for the price, and besides absolutely spot on service.
