beeen going to Kirin on and off for the last 3 years, honestly foods been great, even if it has gotten abit pricier due to the inflation, really recommend the chicken balls with sweet and sour sauce, and the special rice/noodles always hit the spot, if you can do take the prawn crackers (huge, tasty and fresh, hard to find such beauties anywhere else)

We have used this takeaway many times and on some, and the food is normally really good. but on some occasions, the food is not up to their standards.as this was the case last night, we had duck, chowmain, bbq ribs, chicken balls, and egg fried rice prawntoast. the food was absolutely disgusting. ribs were so dry.the duck chowmain, if you could call it, that hardly any duck burnt noodles and the prawn toast was burnt and so greasy we had to throw it all in all a very bad effort and experience

We have been using Chinese Express for some time and you cannot fault the food nor the service. Always really good HOWEVER the prices have gone up so much lately. Itās actually quite unbelievable how much they now charge for their dishes. After many many years we are no longer going to be using them which is a shame. Ribs are now almost at Ā£9, and rice more than Ā£5! There is no way these price rises are justified. Plenty more Chinese take aways in St Albans for a lot less and it is there that we will now go. Local Facebook groups are saying the same thingā¦. Just for a little greedy especially in these tough times.

We absolutely love the Chinese here. Whenever I come down (from north east) I always have to have a Chinese and this is our choice. Never a bad meal, love the taste of the Chinese curry. I don't usually eat meat from Chinese takeaways as don't like the way it's cooked but from here the chicken is always a hit in their Singapore vermicelli.

We have been eating at this restaurant for years and recently the decline in the quality of service and food has been drastic. Kiki is a rude and unhappy person, she was nasty and argued about everything. The other man was equally disgusting. We really like the owner but havenāt seen him lately. When we mentioned the food didnāt taste anything like before, they kept blaming a new chef and then argued with us when we were being polite the whole time . We shall never go again to this restaurant.

A hidden germ in Cambridge. Extremely satisfying and scrumptious experience. Outstanding stewed beef brisket casserole, Chinese cabbage stir fry with vinegar, Singapore fried rice noodle which my family all agree are even better than those in most of Hong Kong restaurants. The crispy pork belly and veg dumpling are nice They also offer a good choice of vegan dishes which are particularly appealing to me as a vegetarian. The ramen chef js not around unfortunately so my son went for shredded pork & preserved veg homemade thin rice noodle but he found yummy as well. They are offering 50% off for today and tomorrow another big surprise and bonus for us! Great staff with excellent service with nice atmosphere. Seating and layout are spacious. Chuhou Beef Brisket and Carrot Bao: Super high quality! ! ! Vinegar braised cabbage, Xingzhou fried rice: unexpected surprise, delicious! ! Pickled mustard pork rice noodles, tofu and leek dumplings, garlic rapeseed: delicious! Lots of vegetarian options! Another unexpected surprise: half price today and tomorrowšš»šš

Iāve spent a year travelling Asia and I love Asian food and itās really hard to satisfy my tastes but that place is amazing! I didnāt have a really nice wonton soup in a very long time and theirs was just spot on. Loved the duck and the sesame prawns on toast. Will be definitely my favourite in town.
