The best restaurants serving Chinese food in East of England

Food was full of oil and made me feel sick all night. Today it came out the other end. I have been a regular but lately this place has gone down hill and I certainly won’t go back. Very disappointed

Worst crispy duck I have ever had in my life; got a couple of wraps out of it but basically a tub filled with skin, gristle and fat. Had to spit it out on the plate. Absolutely disgusting!

The first time I have tried take-away from here and it was AMAZING. The best Chinese I’ve had in a long time, I will definitely go there again! The food tasted so fresh and has put a big smile on my face.

We went for dinner on the 1st of Jan, it was busy but we were seated in 3-5 minutes of entering the restaurant. It's a buffet, so you can expect a wide selection of dishes to choose from, plus a Live grill counter and pancake crepe station, a sushi bar. The dishes were tasty( Indian dishes that were on the menu tasted awful) because there was a wide variety to choose from it didn't really bother me. Good for groups as it can accommodate larger groups, there is a car park nearby. The price of the buffet and drinks was reasonable.

Just ordered a delivery, turned up with part of the wrong order, phoned up to tell them, they said that's what we ordered, in the end they said they will send out a replacement for just the wrong food, I said I want it all replaced as when other food gets here the other food will be cold, he said he will not replaced it. Ruined our night. Lots have now had the same problems, look at the reviews, use to be good, stay well away

Used to be a go to for halal Chinese but unfortunately was let down on our recent visit purely because service came across as very hasty, aggressive and was very pushy when it came to ordering. A real annoyance was the receipt being in Chinese and without the pricing and upon asking for clarification, was merely met with hostility by the waitress. It’s a shame because the food is very good but the poor service has put us off returning

A hidden germ in Cambridge. Extremely satisfying and scrumptious experience. Outstanding stewed beef brisket casserole, Chinese cabbage stir fry with vinegar, Singapore fried rice noodle which my family all agree are even better than those in most of Hong Kong restaurants. The crispy pork belly and veg dumpling are nice They also offer a good choice of vegan dishes which are particularly appealing to me as a vegetarian. The ramen chef js not around unfortunately so my son went for shredded pork & preserved veg homemade thin rice noodle but he found yummy as well. They are offering 50% off for today and tomorrow another big surprise and bonus for us! Great staff with excellent service with nice atmosphere. Seating and layout are spacious. Chuhou Beef Brisket and Carrot Bao: Super high quality! ! ! Vinegar braised cabbage, Xingzhou fried rice: unexpected surprise, delicious! ! Pickled mustard pork rice noodles, tofu and leek dumplings, garlic rapeseed: delicious! Lots of vegetarian options! Another unexpected surprise: half price today and tomorrow👍🏻😃🙏

Telephone food order to Welwyn, took 1 hour 20 mins to arrive, I called after an hour to be told “it’s on its way” Food was quite hot, chips were chunky chip shop chips and really nice, plain chow mein tasted of fish, chicken balls had too much batter and not much chicken, the batter was so thick it wasn’t cooked in the middle, very doughy as seen in photo, sesame toast was really greasy too. Cash only, may have used again if I could have used my business bank card, so probably won’t use again. Dissapointed.

Best Kebab Meat in town. Order is always correct. And any cold drinks are always bagged separately. Delivery and collection would highly recommend. A*
