This is the first Chinese we have had since we moved here. I have to say this was the best Chinese takeaway we think we have ever had, the food was fantastic and hot. Our new favourite takeaway. Amazing and very large portions.

First Chinese we have purchased in Diss,and it was very nice (a tad greasy) but large portions in plastic containers 👍 service was excellent with two young girls flat out taking orders constantly (especially on a Saturday) over the phones… can’t compare it to any other Chinese but wouldn’t hesitate to order from them again…. 👏👏

Food fantastic, tastes as good as if you were to eat in. Service very quick and efficient. I stumbled across this takeaway by accident as not from the area, I would definitely recommend.

Worst takeaway in diss by far. Chicken balls were undercooked. The beef was really chewy. Personally, I would not recommend this takeaway to anyone.

Started using Imperial Wok a few months ago and they have impressed us every time! Food is great and always hot.

Ordered sweet and sour chicken balls with plain chow mein and a portion of spring rolls. It is absolutely delicious 😋 and just right for me as it lasts for two days. Great service, very polite and friendly atmosphere. I would highly recommend a visit, A*****

Popped in for a takeaway on the way home. Arrived at 5pm and only a 20 minute wait (no heat or TV in the waiting area) but well worth it as good sized portions and very tasty

Food was amazing , each and every time spot on , only downside is cash only for delivery , card payment only for collection the nest chinese ive had to date.

First time delivery takeway as visiting on stay vacation. Ordered pork dumpling which was great along with chicken chow mein. Cook to perfection!! Arrived in less time than quoted and was pipeing hot Reasonable priced. Will be using again. Highly recommend.

Best Chinese in Diss by a mile these days. Huge portions, rapid service and a very extensive menu. We use about 2-3 times per month and have never been dissapointed.

This is pretty much the same as most other Chinese takeaways in Norfolk....bland! I end up having to add extra sauces when I get home. It really bothers me that they still have perspex sheilds up everywhere too, it's like walking into a radiation zone!

Food is nice, but the service is extremely poor food was just about warm border line cold, and that is with a collection order so there is no excuse for it to be cold, also timing is very poor when they give you a time it's always 10, 15 to even 30 minutes late and I'm a regular there but we do put up with a lot of poor service and all they will offer you is if you bring the food back they will heat it up for you, like anyone is going to do that we all have microwaves but when you have dinner at a certain time with children the last thing you wanna do is pop out for another 30 minutes driving to and from to heat something up that should of been done first time round! Please be aware of this when ordering.

Ordered food at 9.10pm it's now 22.50 & nothing! Can't get though on phone! Having egg on toast 😩

Our food did not arrive. It’s now 3hrs later leaving a bad review, due to no communication (no answer on their phone, calling 2hrs after order placed, 45 mins delivery time given, no delivery) scrambled egg on toast instead 👍🏽

This is the best Chinese food we have ever had.

Disappointed to say the lease. The Mongolian lamb was full of crushed sharp bones, the egg fried rice tasted like paper, there was barely a difference between the Singapore rice and the egg rice, the wrong chicken dish was given to us (we asked for crispy and got boiled) the coke was warm - all of this for £38 never again!

Rang at 5pm to get an order delivered at 7:30 it's now 8:20 and still no food... First time customers. Not overly impressed

This is our usual go-to takeaway in Diss but recently the food has been really hit or miss. The dishes seem to change flavour and quality each time we order. Today our sweet and sour chicken balls were still doughy and underdone but the chicken inside was hard and rubbery? The ribs we normally have are delicious, but again today they tasted different and we got the offcut bits of rib. When this place is good, it's really nice. But unfortunately today we couldn't eat a lot of our order.

Decent Chow mein and good duck. Have been here many occasions, really nice to have when you get home from a long.

We have been going to Imperial Work for over one year and it is consistently good. Really like the food from here.

Never a dis appointment trick is not to over order if getting lots of dishes as they add in things for free like prawn crackers and spring rolls

My daughter and son come down with sickness and diarrhoea really unwell from eating chicken from here not recommended. The chicken had red bits inside Called them asked for refund then was refused. Disgusting food.

I can’t speak for delivery as we picked up our food. However, the food was great quality! We ordered roast pork curry, a tofu dish and sweet and sour chicken. The main dishes and the rice were what I would call traditional recipes, properly cooked and good quality, with no cheap powdery curry sauce like you seem to find more and more nowadays. We thoroughly enjoyed our food last night (and the free spring rolls this morning :) ) and will be returning as regulars in the future.

Ordered 2 Singapore chow mein dishes one for today and the other for lunch tomorrow. Can’t fault the food full of flavour and nice little kick to it and a tub of curry sauce to dip prawn crackers in

Great food, really tasty. However there was an hour wait time on food which was fine as it was a Saturday but they ran 20 minutes late after we came to collect. Definitely get in there earlier and don't leave it late to order on busy nights.

Great takeaway in diss. Lovely hot tasty food with some lovely touches. Especially loved the crispy satay chicken and the sesame prawn toast was fat and lovely with sesame and black sesame seeds for lovely difference too. All this and they took cards too which sounds odd but lots of Chinese round us stopped taking over first lockdown and not restarted .

I have been a collect customer for the last couple of months. I have rung my order through and picked up at the time given when ordering. Food hot and consistently good quality. Revised opinion. Can’t speak for delivery but i can live with a few miles drive to get good grub.

Not happy at all. Took two hours to arrive. When it did it was freezing and the chicken balls were grey and rubbery inside. This meal wouldn’t have even been sufficient for a dog.

Absolutely disgusting customer service, after spending £30 per week for a very long time, placed a order at 530pm for a delivery at 8pm,no food arrived, at 830pm called and got told it would be another 40minutes as took other bookings, as a manager myself you should look after your regular customers, your attitude is disgusting and getting your staff to deal with complaints is disgusting, we will be getting our refund tonmnorow and will be reporting you to trading standards, obviously you are not very good business people as in the current times you should be looking after your regulars!dont expect to get your food at the time you ordered

I ordered this meal at 5pm to be delivered. Was advised it would be between an hour and an hour and twenty minutes. At quarter to seven i rang to see where the food was. I was told by the poor girl on the phone that her “manager” said it would be a further half hour to forty five minutes. I asked if they would knock anything off for the inconvenience. Was told I could wait or not. Up to me. I’m having fish and chips instead and won’t be back. Could hear them shouting in the background.

Ordered delivery when opened 17:00hrs, almost 2hrs later appeared to have forgotten order ... called to see when order would arrive? Rudely told to wait Up to an hour more. Given option to wait, no refund for inconvenience or cancel. Poor RUDE management. Best Chinese takeaway in Diss my foot... another disappointment being run it to ground, staff quitting, no PPE. Can foresee another new management sign up soon.

Great food always tasty fast delivery I only use them as great food I love chicken bulls & there full of chicken not puffed up with batter.

Got takeaway from here whilst visiting a friend and i have to say it really is the best Chinese in diss. Quick service, food was exceptionally hot and the person on the phone was most accommodating of my fussy order. i will not be ordering a chinese from anywhere else in diss again - it wont beat this place!

Ordered over phone, drove there and back before realising order not complete. Phoned and eventually got them to deliver missing items.

We were on holiday four miles from this restaurant and ordered a meal for delivery. Our was delivered quickly correctly and with no fuss. The meal was hot and well cooked, tasty and good quality. Everything was just as we wanted. Recommended.

Always good food and not to long wait

Nice to finally find an oriental restaurant which actually delivers in terms of food quality, we have eaten here twice over the last month and has been a very nice experience each time. Good service, friendly staff and value for money.

ONE OF THE BEST CHINESE I'VE HAD. Very helpful staff and even told us about the offers. We had the salt and pepper chicken with chips and the chip portions are massive.

Fast service. Delivery up to 7 miles. They take cards and cash if you go to the takeaway but if they will be delivering it to you, you will need cash. Food is tasty, we did not find it salty at all.

This used to be a really good take away, called the Jade Garden, with some of the best dishes I have ever had from a takeaway, the satay was fantastic, squid in black bean sauce awesome, Singapore noodles everything well above average.

We were dubious of trying here again as the last time we did it wasn’t very nice. But noticing it changed hands when we moved in to Diss we decided to give it a go. And I’m glad we did, it was lovely. It was better than the other two in diss which we have recently had problems with. The 45 minute wait for our delivery turned in to 20 minutes with delicious food so we cant fault it.

Very disappointed bbq sauce was very salty and prawn balls battery ribs were chewy threw it away as it was disgusting bring back the jade garden any day they did lovely thick flavored bbq sauce and curries food was much better

All food excellent and generous portions - had to feed large crowd - everyone extremely happy. We ordered from them on 2 nights - all food was hot and fresh on arrival.

I have used this takeaway frequently for over a year since it changed hands and was previously known as the Jade Garden. The food has been always been good quality, plentiful and good value. However, the last three takeaways over around six weeks have been very poor. Chicken Chow-Mein with so little chicken just noodles, tasteless sweet and sour pork hong-Kong style and chips that had clearly been re-heated. Not sure why the change in quality has occurred but will not be returning based on this evenings disappointing offering.

I was working a nightshift locally and our usual Chinese takeaway of choice in Eye is closed on a Tuesday as was our reserve in Diss. The only 'local' that we could find, that was open (Tuesday, if I remember correctly) and would deliver to us was Imperial Wok in Diss.

Lovely food since this place has been under new management and quick delivery.

Best Chinese possible 110% recommend and even remember your address when you ring delivery is quick and friendly and the food is perfect every time

This use to be Jade Garden which was really quite horrible. Ordered twice and never again, also heard other bad experiences.

Very heavy batter ,over sweet sauce a nasty interpretation of the standard high street Chinese. Maybe convenient and quick service but the food is frankly awful

Greasy and bland. Expensive as most was thrown away😠other Chinese takeaways in area are better. Staff were polite. It's the second time I've tried this place and both occasions have been very disappointing. Will not be giving a 3rd chance.

Awful food. Mains covered in some sort of vinegar substance and salted peanuts instead of cashews!! Chicken also very chewy. So many better chineses in Diss!
