The best restaurants serving Chinese food in East of England

After reading some reviews I was a bit dubious about going.. but decided to try anyway, and glad I did, lady on service counter was really lovely and polite,and the food was absolutely amazing, chicken balls, beef chowmein ,chips were amazing....lovely Chinese lady bought them out to me..highly recommend, was staying at wild duck and only 5 mins away

First time having food here and was delicious good polite staff good service and we got free food with our order will definitely be going again 100% perfect good portions enough for a secound meal

No longer a restaurant - just doing takeaways now, but always a friendly welcome and a good "special offer" to chose from too.

Got a Chinese tonight and it was amazing, one of the best chineses I have had. Food was cooked quickly, all piping hot and big portions for a good price. Highly recommend

Staying in the tree house 5 minutes from here in the car. Ordered food. Was absolutely fantastic. Special rice. Lemon chicken. Salt and chilli chicken. Spring rolls 🔥 10/10. The lemon chicken was best I've had.

Great food, still hot. However we did not receive the full order and this was not corrected or refunded. The manager never returned my call after saying he did not want to argue. First bad experience with them which has annoyed me, especially with ring camera footage proving me correct.

Best Takeaway in the area. Great food, fresh and tasty. Friendly service. Would recommend.

I called to order for collection. It sounded like the woman was distracted and clearly was as when she read the order back to me it wasn't right. Ordered over £70 worth of food. They got a few of the dishes wrong. Theres no way kung pao chicken tastes like that! Just simple sweet and sour chicken is what they gave! I also ordered one crispy chilli beef and one crispy chilli chicken. They gave both chicken. No answer when i called about the issue. Probably in a rush to get it all made. The only reason I didn't give lower is because the food tasted nice and they weren't stingy with the portions. Just disgusted at the service.

This small mom and pop take-out shop serves good Chinese food that will not alarm or confuse local appetites. Been back a few times and it has not disappointed yet. However they only accept cash - no cards. Looks like they do a decent amount of delivery too. Friendly staff.

I ordered the beef sichaun, salt and pepper chicken wings and a bun on uber eats and there was no flavour to anything. The portion size was bad with way too much rice and no sauce. I didn’t know if i ordered something else or not because there was no distinct flavour

Never go there again. They didn't accept my card and asked me to order online after I placed the order. They want more money to make my food spicy. I asked for a refund and also they charged £3.50 for refund too. Food turned out to be horrible. There are so many good chinese take away in Watford. Please use them . I made a mistake.

Anna was extremely helpful when I told her of my allergies all staff were pleasant and the food was good two will definitely be back

Ordered takeaway, got completely the wrong dishes delivered, driver was awful, never knocked on the door, just phoned and said "Come Get It" Person on the phone at restaurant left us on hold for over 5 mins while 'rectifying' the issue.. Rest of meal went cold in time it took for them to arrive with correct main dishes. Once we sat to eat, realised the dishes had no flavour. The second lot to arrive: prawn dish had loads of mushrooms which were not meant to be in this dish! Really bad experience, would never use again!

Good food and the delivery is reliable. Go-to for Chinese takeaway.
