The best restaurants serving Chinese food in East of England

This is one of my personal favourites I love this takeaway great tasting food with reasonable prices they also deliver if your not able to collect.I highly recommend trying it out so get yourself online and see whats on the menu you won't be disappointed

Chicken balls were quite dry, Chilli beef was nice Chips were undercooked :( Rice was nice Overall was ok dissapointed with the chips

I heard many good things about the food and restaurant in general previously. When we arrived I was surprised to say the least. Rude unfriendly waitresses, it was as if we were bothering them finishing up a busy period. The service was awful, it definitely made for a bad experience. Even the food pretty mediocre and slow to serve, didn’t match description on menu and looked nothing like some dishes Kim the menu itself. Giving 2 stars is being overly generous! Extremely disappointed, would have spent more and ordered more but was annoyed and frustrated. Just wanted to eat and go.

The beef pink and NOT beef don’t know what it was horrible tasteless but the hot and sober soup was beautiful

Disgusting!!!!! Burnt food! Asked for certain food to be removed ie peppers due to allergies and didn't happen. Asked for salt and peper chips and got dried basic chips. Over cooked. And being ignored by the company. I wouldn't even feed my dog this food. Rank!!!!

I have been a regular customer of Hong Kong Inn ordering from them about every week or just after that for around the last three years. Their customer service is poor, thinking nothing of being rude, nasty and disconnecting calls as in my case tonight when I remonstrated with the person on the phone for not treating me very well, and communication generally difficult. When I rang back tonight I was asked not to call again when I said I was not going to put up with bad treatment of myself. I had noted previously another customer in their review had referred to Hong Kong Inn's customer service as being non existent. I am an older person who is generally regarded as being a particularly nice and a particularly genuine person. Brent Collins.

The Szechuan tofu was mainly carrots, it had hardly any tofu in. I’ve seen a recent review of something saying the same with another dish. Food was fine other than that but not great.

Great food and fast delivery every time we order. Chicken chow mein and sweet and sour chicken are very nice.

Food delivered hot, but damaged. Called restaurant 1 minute after delivery and was told this is impossible. Asked for a mobile number so I could send a photo and was told they don't have mobile number. Food soaked in sauces. Driver should drive a little bit slower I believe.

I ordered roast duck in green pepper and black beans sauce and they gave me a row duck with a liquid tomato sauce. Disgusting.

Incredible food . The first Chinese that isn’t greasy that I’ve been too .food delivers hot and quickly . Couldn’t fault it :)

The chow mien and sweet and sour chicken was lovely but wasn’t overly impressed with the prawn toast. It was over cooked and very dry.
