Definitely The Best Chinese Food Around!! It’s the only Chinese around that wasn’t burnt and too salty!! The others definitely stay away from. Sweet sour chicken and chicken chow mein was lovely!!

Have used these for 4 years now, last two orders have been awful! If you want a Chinese that tastes exactly like a microwave meal go for it! It's a shame as it was the beat Chinese I've ever had until a few months ago! Rock hard prawn balls, rubbery prawns and orders been wrong the last two orders. Next!

Food was ready in the 10 mins as stated by China House when the order was placed. Food was hot and plentiful, not at all greasy and had plenty of flavour.

Ordered a takeaway was the best I've had in ages and very big portions and gd price was delivered quickly as well

Ordered a few different dishes and everything was good. Nothing incredible but was the only place delivering when we wanted to eat.

Fast delivery, not very good food. Pork balls looked like they had been deep fried 3 times and tasted like it, chips were over cooked, vermicelli noodles were brown and greasy with no spice. Overall this was not a very good experience

Ordered food and only received some of the order. When called they said I did not order but they charged me for it and sent the condiments for it but I had recorded the call as prof.refused to refund or send out food. Basically called us liars . Should have listened to other people

Me and partner ordered from another local chinese takeaway recently and we were both very disappointed for multiple reasons e.g meat dry, not enough sauce in meal containers, small amounts, lacking in flavour... Just had a takeaway from China House instead and couldn't fault any of it. Every bit was delicious, very generous amounts, fair price and didn't have to wait long for delivery despite it being Friday night.

Food was delivered within 15 minutes but not good, ordered x2 chips were cold and reheated maybe change the oil!! Ribs ok 🤮

I called and ordered our food - it arrived without one item. Called them back and said it wasnt on the order! I explained I'd asked for it and I thought I'd paid for it. I was rudely told I hadnt and the phone put down! The food was on the cold side! Really disappointed as this was meant to be a treat for us all!

The food wasn’t bad but it took nearly two hours to arrive. The worst thing is… the order was wrong. After multiple calls. all of the standard excuses including we have no drivers. The worst of it they put on hold mid complaint to take another order. They don’t understand English. This doesn’t help while trying to complain. I’ve had 20% off offered as well as a free meal. Non of which I think will be honoured. Do yourself a favour and take you’re business elsewhere.

I have found these people do good food for the price, it is not full of oil or grease and find it better than the others in Mildenhall. Have had food from all of them over time.

The person I was speaking to the phone was very rude and disrespectful I do not think it was appropriate to react the way she did when I couldn't understand what she was saying. You should never speak to a customer with such disrespect, I was tempted to just hang up and go somewhere else to order food.

I don't leave reviews but I ended up with plastic in my food so it all got thrown away and then had to argue for any money back. Offered me 20% off next time! Won't be ordering again :(

We had guests and decided to get a takeaway. Chinese was the choice of our visitors and we recommended China zhouse because the last time we had ordered from there, admittedly over a year ago, it had been excellent. Not any more. We won’t be going there again.

They are almost always getting the order wrong, and they are rude when you phone up to inform them your order is wrong. We once received a long black hair wrapped around a piece of chicken, and a piece of plastic in a chicken with broccoli. Won’t be ordering from here again

This is the 3rd time I have eaten from this takeaway in 2 years and I have no complaints at all. I’ve always had good service, quick collection times and the food is wonderful. Enough food that it lasts us 2 meals each and that’s just ordering a main and rice dish each. Highly recommended

Been here a handful of times. Last visit was the worst. Orderd two Prawn fried rice and received plain egg fried rice instead. Ask the lady to fix the order she insisted that she didn't get our order wrong. So I asked for my money back because she refused to correct the order. She short changed me and refuse to give me back the correct change. When they finally gave me back my change they slammed it on the counter and shewed me out like a fly. Worst customer service ever! Food is really not authentic or worth your coins. You'd be better off cooking your own at home. I will never go back!

First time I have ordered a family takeaway for a long time, both children wanted Chinese food, as I haven't used the China House for a long while we thought it would be a nice change. Food was prepared very quickly in the restaurant and the staff very friendly upon getting home and sorting out the meals I have to say the food was absolutely fantastic and the portions quite large. Taste was great and both children ate everything that was put on their plates. I will definatly order more food from here.

Decided to have a takeaway for my birthday. I am so glad I ordered from China House. Easy to order, fast delivery, food was hot and so so tasty! Will definitely be visiting again.

I’ve just eaten a brilliant meal from this restaurant. Have tried most Chinese’s locally but this is by far the best. Ordered at 7.30pm food was at the door by 7.45pm piping hot. Quality of the food was outstanding, ordered the BBQ pork in sauce and the container was brimming with meat, noodles not greasy, cannot fault. Ordering here from now on, highly recommended.

Ok so fast food yes but without flavour. BBQ ribs lovely and tender but the sauce has zero flavour what i can say is nice is the soecial fried rice. Ecerything else BLANDDDDDDDDDD. Sorry CH you need to improve massively.

Absolutely amazing! I actually ordered from the wrong Chinese and I was so glad I did. The portions are huge and it all tasted amazing! Highly recommend.

Great service only downside is you have to avoid certain nights as sometimes chowmein can be stodgy and rice can be to. and place needs decorating as it still has old stickers up and old paint from when it was a nursery. but over all 4 stars for the food.

Been here twice and food was good

Ridiculous!! We called for delivery and they said it would be 1-2 hours when we only live 10 minutes from the restaurant, so we ordered for take away. We got our food, went home and realized the order was almost completely wrong, so we went back to get the order right. The owner refused to give us a refund or just give us the right food for free so we ended up paying for the right meal. I DO NOT recommend this place, horrible customer service. I will not eat here anymore.

I do not recommend the takeaway here. Egg fried rice is now half the size, & unrecognizable compared to the original, chicken chow mein is now all weird, skinny noodles & little else. In my daughter-in-law's meal half the noodles were raw..& the chips are now those puffy, empty oven-cooked things. Furthermore, they messed up the order, then argued with me on the phone for 5 minutes when I complained! Awful, awful, awful

This is the go-to place for Chinese takeaway! Amazing food, great value and selection of dishes. Always delivered within given estimated time. Would 100% recommend a Chow Mein with udon noodles.

We have been having our Saturday night Chinese treat from China House for a few years now (sorry it took so long to review!) we love the hot n sour soup and the duck and the service we recommend China House and although they get pretty busy their customer service is still spot on, very polite at front of house 🙂

We ordered from here on a Friday night - we did originally want a delivery but it was going to take an hour and twenty minutes so we collected! Best satay sauce I’ve had!!! Massive portions of chow main & free spring rolls! Yum. Everything was great! Best Chinese in a while

Absolutely lovely chinese food. Quite impressed with the quality and freshness. Asked for extra garlic and chilli and they provided at no extra cost. Well worth a visit, i will definately be calling again.

Am absolutely disgusted I ordered my food at 7.30 this everning from mildenhall China house the food got here at 8.50pm and was stone cold also no can of drink as charged for it and when I called a guy answered calling me a lier lost 17.00 worth of food absolutely disgusted will be reporting u to health and hygiene u take the piss

We ordered for delivery, only live a few minutes drive from the restaurant. Told upon order it’ll take 50 minutes. 65 minutes later we call and they say it’s ready but they’re waiting for the driver. 90 minutes later, as I’m getting ready to go down there and collect it myself, a knock at the door. The food was standard, what you’d expect, can’t complain, but why did it take so long on a Sunday evening?! When we called asking where it was they recognised the voice without even asking which order, so couldn’t have been too busy?! No apologies for the very delayed delivery, won’t order again due to this long wait during a typically quiet time.

Before it changed hands it was lovely food. The new owners put the prices up, but the food was pretty poor for a price increase.

I am not a meat eater and have always enjoyed the dishes from China House since it opened some years ago.

Uesed to be my favourite but has gone downhill massively the quality of the food is terrible and it is overall a bad place to get Chinese now.

Got order wrong twice and wouldn’t accept blame, just handed me food without saying anything, rude and no where near up to the standard of others in town. Won’t go back again.

Messed up half the order and thought some fortune cookies and prawn crackers would make something I can't eat edible.

Dont go anywhere near this horrible place. Placed order tonight including chicken balls, we got £5 off collection as they missed item off order last time. Got home and after starting to eat the 'chicken balls' found them to be prawn balls, other half hates prawns. Phoned them to see if they could deliver chicken balls, no apology but they said they would. 30 mins later driver arrives at the door after being told to drop them off and get £5.30 off us, so effectively paying twice because they messed up (again!). He asked we call to find out if we needed to pay, when we called no one understood what we were saying but eventually the unhelpfull staff agreed the driver could go without further payment, what a shambles! We were so annoyed by it all as it ruined the whole meal, so went into the shop when we were finished. The waiting room was packed with moaning customers and drivers who had been waiting ages. I asked the rude staff member if we could speak out of everyones ear shot, she refused and basically said i must complain in front of everyone, so I did. She couldnt care less, and said what do you want me to do about it? I had to suggest maybe a partial refund. She didnt say sorry once and definitely seemed a big inconvience to her. The Dragon House was closed for holiday so surely this is a chance to try and get new customers?! Its not difficult to get the basics right surely, even a sorry? The delivery drivers were embarrased and apologised. I can only see this place closing down which is what it deserves, awful rude service and not much better food, pay a bit more and go to wongs or next door!

Best Chinese in mildenhall that delivers . They always say delivery will take 45mins -an hour ....usually get our food in 20 mins !

Wow. Can not believe what happened this evening. We’ve been ordering from here for 2 years and have always been happy. Tonight we waited 1 hour 20 minutes for our delivery. When we called to check, they said the cook forgot to cook our order and they were going to start cooking it. Offered no compensation and didn’t really seem to care. Even when people complained to us about you we always took up for you saying it’s always been good. China House, you lost our business. Good luck to you.

We went for the first time when they just opened and we weren't impressed at all, I guess they have a new chef because tried once again just to see if anything had changed and we were amazed. Now we always order here and the food is always delicious, huge portions and delivered fast! Recommended!

Lovely menu, great staff. Have been going here for years and they have never messed up an order; quite efficient! I would suggest trying something new and exploring the menu. You might find that you quickly have a favorite in most dishes.

Once you have been here and tasted the food you wouldnt want to try any where else. Our food has always been hot and tasty and great value for money. They also do delivery. Staff are very friendly and welcoming and helpful. Go on have a saturday night treat.

It was good food until I got some spoiled food. Stay away from the beef and shrimp. Vegetable dishes are fine.

THE best chinese there is for miles! (And I don't usually like chinese because of all the grease but this one is bad-ass!)

Food was really bland. Ordered a salt & pepper dish, just tasted of onions. Too much sauce in the chilli crispy beef, only ate the ones on top as the sauce was half of the container, noodles tasted burnt, over cooked king prawns and the roast pork was mainly fat. Don't think i will be visiting again.

The best Chinese takeaway around, and they give big portions which is a bonus. No other Chinese takeaway compares for me.

We love China house. We order delivery from there at least once a week. Good customer service & yummy food!

The food at China house is great and the customer service is amazing. The portion that you receive is almost double what you get at other Chinese restaurants, and they give you free stuff with large purchases. The servings are so large that your practicaly ordering two meals, which is great for seconds. All in all I think China house is a wonderfull establishment, and I urge anyone who hasn't tried it to give it a shot.

My usual Tuesday Chinese cravings hit, but of course Dragon House was closed and the one I really wanted also happened to be closed as well. Hoping to satisfy my hunger and Chinese needs in one go, I went ahead and ordered from China House. The meal was not very satisfying, but I tried to enjoy it anyway. Again it wasn't the Chinese I had actually hoped to eat. Everything seemed to be going well, until I woke up at half twelve at night with the worst indigestion I had ever experienced. After spending an hour in the toilet hoping it would make a second appearance, I decided to move to the kitchen for a glass of milk to help end the pain. I had tried to ease the pain with my heartburn medication, but no such luck. I grab a glass from the cabinet to pour my milk into when it hit. The urge to be sick. There was no making it back to the toilet, so the kitchen bin it was. After being violently ill, which didn't help that pain at all, I drank that glass of milk. Moving back upstairs I got back in bed, hoping to finally sleep some more. The time was now half past one in the morning, and the pain was only getting worse. I lay in bed for about half an hour when the urge to be ill struck again. Rushing to the toilet I got the last of it out. After waiting a bit longer before cleaning the taste out of my mouth, I finally make it back to bed. With the pain easing off I check my phone for the time, it was now half past two in the morning. With my eyes still watering and the sound of my stomach hating me I finally managed to doze off. The following day was spent feeling as though I had been hit by a bus. Barely able to keep anything down, I spent the day trying to keep hydrated in hopes that I would finally be able to move without pain or the fear that walking would cause me to pass out.
