Best coffee around and super ethical. Discount for oat milk drinkers. Lovely place to take dogs for a walk preferably on leads to protect nesting birds. If you listen carefully walking on the sea wall you can sometimes hear a bittern especially at sunset 🌅

What a fabulous treat to have a delicious barista coffee in the stunning surroundings of Burnham Over Staithe. Sandy and Dave are very welcoming and helpful, they also run the coffee shop with the highest of ethical standards. Great experience would highly recommend and we will be back!

Wonderful, charming, friendly local. We live overseas and planned a family celebration as family live in the village. Faultless planning and help, felt like we were locals ourselves. The kindness and generosity of Chris, Chris, Stu and Christine was amazing. Used their back room for the party which was catered by Bailey Brown of Edwards & Brown. Beautiful cake, extremely generous portions of delicious food - absolutely everything that we asked for. It was a difficult week with family illness, however everything went to plan with all their help for which we are forever grateful. Left there knowing we had made wonderful memories for our Family. Spent the week in the pub, really enjoyed everything that's on offer. Darts, pool table, great beers and a lovely clientele. Worth visiting the village just for the pub. Thanks Chris & Chris x

The food at Purfleet is superb. We had a wonderful Christmas menu of turkey, pork or salmon followed by some seriously sweet dessert treats, so huge props to the chef. Delicious! The atmosphere could've been a little more festive, however we were the after work crowd so am sure it livened up later on.
