Just had a chicken korma and really not up to the standard it used to be. Sauce was watery and the chicken not good, very disappointing

Some people shouldn't do business. Used my just eat voucher to order a set meal for a less price. But they cancelled my order because of my discount. Oh well what a shame. Lost a customer.

This place has really improved. I had a village tandoori last week for the first time in a while and my gosh… it was heavenly. If you go and like a bit of garlic and spice I double dog dare you to get: Chilli chicken masala Chicken rogan Lamb biryani Sag aloo Garlic and coriander naan Chicken tikka naan They also gave us mango chutney, mint sauce, popadoms and a bag of raw onions which just topped it off. Great value and cheap compared to other Indian takeaways near me. Honestly my mouth was watering when I took the first bite, my toes were curling, my feet were ascending and I soon found myself in curry heaven. I died again when I finished the food but the leftovers revived me. If village tandoori has a million fans I’m one of them. If they have one fan I’m there one and only fan. If village tandoori has no fans I am well and truly dead.

Been using this as our Indian takeaway of choice for some years now but the most recent meal I had was not up to the usual standard

Called the restaurant after placing the order because forgot to add a note . The person who answered the phone was extremely rude and he didn't know how to deal with customer. I asked whether they can change a side vegetable dish to another but he first said its ready and then changed his words saying its in process so they won't change it. It was like within 5 minutes I called after placing the order and food was ready !! He was also telling me why didn't I left a note !! The delivery man called to deliver the food but he was asking for directions and was about 10 minutes on phone with me looking for my address!! Extremely disappointed with the service and food was just ok , nothing great.

Ordered takeaway, and had the set meal, Starter was Tandoori chicken, which was nice, filled by a delicious Lamb bhuna with pilau rice, and a side dish of tasty Sag Aloo, with 2 poppadoms, lime pickle, mint yoghurt and mango chutney, all for a bargain £13.80. And enough for another meal the next day, I will definitely go back, my constructive criticism is because it's so good I don't want to have the same mains and side dish everytime, so can we swap the main for a Rogan Josh or Chicken vindaloo and have instead of sag aloo a bombay aloo? But overall amazing food, can't fault anything the food, the price, the value and the service food came very quick 5 stars

Ordered two keema naan..only received one..phoned three times to advise..no reply..disappointed as obviously tipped delivery driver..not sure I would use again..😏😏

Wow, just wow. Exceptional service as usual. We order from them direct rather than using the delivery services online and have NEVER had a bad experience. This is the only place we now order an Indian takeaway from as we know the food is excellent, fast delivery time and very reasonably priced. Credit where credits due.

Looks dingy and dirty, to get the same sauce different in 2 pots???? Samosa's were undercooked and the meat looked like road kill. AVOID!!!

Good food, quick delivery, always get a bit extra than I ordered like extra popadoms or sauces. It is also cheaper than any other curry house and definitely cheaper if you order straight from them.

Ordered meal through the shop itself which worked out a lot cheaper than using Deliveroo or just eat and came within half a hour of ordering it, still hot and plenty to eat. Also extra poppadoms was sent with order. Will be ordering again.

an outstanding Indian take away !! i have just had my fourth delivery from here and it was perfect as were all the others this time i had lamb madras which was very tender and delicious spicy and last time we had chicken dansak i haven't had meal from here that wasn't brilliant the only trouble is having to decide what to order !!

Just got a delivery from here absolutely amazing service ! Came within 30 minutes food piping hot and soooo nice ! Iv eaten many curry’s from around the world because we travel a lot and always have an Indian meal while abroad ! This food tonight was definitely 10 out of 10 will order again ! Food is not cooked properly - onions are still semi raw and tomatos in curries - i think they rushed the order - 2nd time this has happened - its not authentic curry , semi tasteless , proper curry is medium brown - not very light coloured sauces in curry - if they spent another 10mins cooking on high heat maybe my review would be different ,

We have been visiting this takeaway in excess of 20 years and always found it to be excellent. Staff very friendly and delivery service also very reliable. Can’t recommend it enough 😀

I've been using the Village Tandoori twice a month for about a year and have never had a less than superb mouthful. They are polite, prompt, very reasonably priced and quite simply their food is tremendous. Will never go anywhere else again! You should become a restaurant!!

An amazing little indian take away, small and may not look like much from outside as it is take away only, but the food is top notch and the service impeccable.

Village Tandoori is a very small takeaway that produces really great food- great for everything from dinner to a late night takeaway on the way home from a night out.

We ordered a takeaway from this place and when it came, the nan breads were freezing, we didn't get all of the meals that we ordered, we had to reheat all of our meals and we found a hair in one of our meals, it was a short black hair, no one who was eating has black hair, the curry's were tasteless! I left more than half of my meal and I couldn't eat anymore of it as it was so watery it made me feel a bit ill and my other half who found the hair threw all of his away, when we rang up to complain all they said was "it must have been your hair" or "food does sometimes get cold on delivery" we live less than 5 mins away from this place so I don't understand how it got so cold in such a short space of time. Absolutely disgusted! It's put me of curry for a long time!

We've used this place several times over the years and the service is friendly, the food always freshly prepared and plentiful. On this ocassion, there were 8 of us and we phoned our order through and had it delivered. Everyone enjoyed their meal, me include BUT, if you had put a blindfold on me, I'm not sure I would have known I was eating an Indian meal. There was a distinct lack of heat and absence of spices. So pleasant but unexciting food.

I am sorry to report that I recently had an Indian Take Away from this establishment and I had to stop eating a third of the way through the meal as it was so greasy and tasteless. I was absolutely starving at the time as well so for me to stop mid meal it has to be bad. I am a Luton boy who loves a curry but just could not eat this one, perhaps I caught them a bad night but I just could not risk going back to the place as I did not feel overly great after either. It was a shame as the service was really good, the portion size for the price was excellent but the quality just let them down, it really was inedible.
