The best restaurants serving Indian food in England

Tasty curries especially the lamb sagwala, lovely freshly cooked bhajis and naan but especially the papadoms- how do they get them so incredibly light and crispy?!

The food is amazing and the restaurant looks great and the menu looks good and the staff are very friendly and welcoming

Fabulous food, friendly service in this popular restaurant on Sandown's High Street. Take out or dine in the food is delicious, hot and freshly made. We dined here this evening with family and despite being very busy with diners and Take Out Orders the food was served quickly, every dish was presented well and so good, all plates were cleared. Decent sized portions and value for money. As no alcohol is available, you can bring your own, which is a bonus when dining on a budget. Highly recommend.

The samosas at £1 each is a rip off, very small. At least 2 for £1, the onion bajees are worse, how can you charge £1 each? They are small to say the least.

Meal deal is good but the last two meals I have had have been priced differently both times. Tried to contact to ask why and no response from them.

We went yesterday with friends. Great service and lovely food. This was about our 4th visit and it has always been consistently good. They have some menu items that are different from your standard indian restaurant. You can also park at the back.

We decided to get a takeaway from here as we usually do and the food has gone downhill. We ordered manchurian, butter paneer and Chana masala and it was horrible. The manchurian balls were soggy, butter paneer was watery and just tasted of tomato. I was very disappointed as I always order from there and the food was good before. Its such a shame !

Not nice my food was like a plate of sugar chicken tikka curry was awful . Not eating from there again very disappointing although the waiter was very understanding came home hungry and cold was freezing in the restaurant
