The best restaurants serving Indian food in England

Starters cold , main mega spicy and lots of raw onions ,service good but even though quiet and language barrier, nice rice, fresh nann , it won't be a retun to for us

Must be one of the best curry houses in South Wales. Food is fantastic. Alloo Chat particularly delicious. Dhansak best I’ve ever eaten.

food was not what I ordered, pre cooked chicken, ordered tikka massala and food was like dog food warmed up with chicken in it.

Visited here after reading reviews on a stop over on our way to St Ives. On first view the restaurant sat at the end of a car park didn’t look great. But how wrong we were. The food was fantastic and the staff despite other reviews were really attentive and asking if we were ok. They were also constantly apologising for a loud group in the restaurant. No need wasn’t your fault. The main courses of South Indian Garlic Chilli Chicken and Butter Chicken were up there with the best we have had. Ignore the location and enjoy the food.

Ordered from here before and loved it! Decided to treat ourselves tonight and poppadoms and prawn puri and chicken chat puri starters were lovely butvwe both found them hotter than usual. We got to the mains and it really went downhill. Ordered a chicken dhansak which is my usual favourite and a chicken korai. I understand both are medium hot but I've never had them this hot! Tarka dall was hard to even find a lentil, it was just liquid. Sag aloo again just really hot for some reason. I've never tasted sag aloo like that. Sad to say that's all been left. No idea why everything was quite so spicy tonight and if you like your curry really hot you'd probably be ok but it was too much for us.

Went here for the first time as was told its very nice. Lets just say I wouldn’t recommend much and wont be going again. Kebab and chips were nice but other than that curry was bland and not to our liking at all. Naan could have been better. Its not a wow place either kinda dull atmosphere and pokey inside. Dryer was so slow to use i ended up coming out and wiping hands after washing on tablecloth lol

I just want to say that Jodie is a credit to your Business she is happy all the time and always looks after me when I do my orders and she is one of the reasons I keep coming back and also the food is great and the best around . I pass 2 Indian Takeaways to go there .

Great food beautifully presented, friendly staff, excellent value for money. Will be back next time I have a reason to use the Elizabeth Line at Abbey Wood.
