New to the area and been looking for a decent curry house. After a few bad takeaways from other establishments I gave Delhi Akash a go and I've found my new go to curry house. Very fresh food and ingredients, tastes amazing!! Not overly oily and decently priced. Absolutely gem!!!

1hr35 mins for delivery. Food so cold uneatable. Straight in the bin Tip…. Don’t say 40 mins when you can’t deliver!!!

Food was good but delivery time was crazy, almost 2 hours. Attitude wasn't great when I complained, don't intend to use again.

There really isn't a better take away curry place than this place. We had a meal last night which was just absolutely superb. The Chicken Rezala is off the scale, I want it again tonight. 10/10

While I was travelling to Southend on Sea. Had to make a stop on this takeaway. Food was just amazing. Very friendly staffs. Even the boss man Miraj gave us some free onion bhaji. I really recommend this place. Must check out the big menu they have to fulfill your hungry taste buds.

Our Family have been using these for many years. Our last meal was last weekend and all I can say is it’s the worst meal we have ever had. Food was missing, chicken was awful and bhaji was burnt. I emailed them with my complaints on the website, no response. So I emailed them direct twice and still no reply. £42 wasted.

Always a quick service and the food is delicious! Very friendly staff too. Highly recommended the chicken sizzler, perfectly marinated chicken and the onions that come with it are divine.

Well this has ticked all boxes....they was pollite...the food taste good and wasnt that long wait plus i did read reveiews before coming here to so yes 5 star from me been wanting to find a good indian for ages 👍👍

Amazing words can’t describe how happy I am food was mouth watering and amazing. Was travelling through the area this hidden gem popped up with out looking at any reviews seen the place very clean the boss even let me see the chef in action was soo impressed. Very nice food and tasty. Chicken tikka biryani and kababs were ultimate. We loved the food so much. Also, they offered pappads along with four variety of souses which was crunchy and tasty. So friendly staff.

I haven’t left a review before but felt this Indian takeaway was one of the best I have ever had, would recommend to anyone that enjoys Indian food, my food to collect was ready in 15min and it was 10/10 for me, I am local to laindon and have tried a lot of Indians round here now have my favourite so thank you guys for the great food I will be back.

Ask for Miraj when you get there, he’s the guy who’ll give you the best deals and food. Food tasted great. Since I met Miraj, my life has improved, I look at food in a new light, my ex wanted to get back with me, I got out of debt. If Miraj was running for PM, I’d vote for him.

Me and my brother tried a few dishes from here tonight and I must say it was on par with some off the best Indian food I have had. I had a lamb dansak and my friend had the D&A Grill. Both were cooked to perfection. Will be eating here again

We had Deli Akash for the first time today after being recommended by a friend. It was absolutely Amazing, all of the food we had was cooked perfectly and the taste was amazing. Thankyou to Miraj and his team for such an amazing dinner, all so friendly and can’t wait to go back!

The best Indian in Basildon. Food is always piping hot&delicious. Quick delivery. Always generous portions&extra poppadoms thrown in. The last time I ordered they didn’t have a dessert in stock so they refunded and also sent one out for free on my next order to make up for it. Customer service is second to none! Will always be a loyal regular!

The best curry I’ve had in years from this area. Their onion bhaji’s are delicious, plenty of meat in the curry & naan breads cooked perfectly. Excellent service & arrived quickly piping hot. Will definitely be a regular. Thank you!

I like Indian food, a lot, and used to live near the Delhi Akash and reguarly orded from there. I moved to Billericay a few years ago and after trying pretty much every Indian takeaway in Billericay, I couldn't beat Dehli Akash......couldn't even get close to it really. So I chanced my arm to see if they would deliver to Billericay and they did! I now get it from there again everytime and so do quite a few friends and family who live close by to me after convincing them to try it. The cost is reasonable, the portion sizes are decent, the staff are really friendly and most importantly, their food is the best around.

I’ve lived in Basildon since Jan and have tried multiple Indian restaurants in the area to the point I gave up with curry. This one here is the best in town. Proper nice blokes running this place. Curry was phenomenal.. me and the mrs both finally enjoyed a more than decent curry tonight and will definitely be returning. Full of flavour. Nicely spiced. Would give 10 stars if I could.

Was really craving a curry and had forgotten all about this restaurant. I used to eat here all the time when they were over in Laindon shopping centre, and it's great to see the food is as quality as ever! Portion sizes were spot on, you definitely get your monies worth! The keema peas aloo is something I've not tried before and it was fantastic, definitely a new favourite! The madras was very good with a nice heat. The Jalfrezi is probably one of the best I've had! The sauce is thick and chunky just how it should be. The only thing I would say is the chicken was a little tough. Perhaps it's because I'm comparing it to when I make curry at home and use chicken thigh meat. Nonetheless it was all delicious and I'll definitely be ordering from here again.

My 3 grown boys and myself ordered a takeaway and when it arrived it was hot and absolutely DELICIOUS!! Properly the BEST Indian takeaway we have ever had!! I’m not one for leaving bad reviews but on this occasion I had to.. The food was Awful. The chicken was so hard and swamped in oil I couldn’t eat it and the sag aloo might aswell had been raw it was that hard. Totally disappointed and will never order here again

First time trying Delhi Akash as I heard about them recently, and have to say everything was spot on, food cooked perfectly and tasted great, onion bhajis were crispy, and portions were generous. Delhi Akash just served me the most amazing korma I have ever eaten in London. Tucked away in Laindon this little gem of a restaurant/take away is truly mind blowing and the service and staff are so kind and helpful .... it feels like like having the best meal with your family at home. After our favourite Indian takeaway closed earlier this year, we tried so many that were dissapointing until now! Delhi spice is now our go to!

Really disappointed. Had food from Delhi Akash a few times and always been nice, but tonight was such a disappointment. Missing Nann bread, dry over cooked chicken in the Sally, which was also lacked flavour, mushrooms in the chicken tikka massalla making the sauce externally watery and again lacked flavour, pashwari nann doughy and lacked coconut Maybe and new chef, below par tonight.

Ordered through Uber Eats who screwed up the order but we called Akash and they sorted it all out. The food is literally out of this World, every single dish was cooked to perfection. We are lucky to have such an amazing Indian takeaway in Basildon it is really first class. I would go as far to say the best Indian food I have ever tasted.

Just had yet another Awesome takeaway from this Establishment Been to a few Indian restaurants /Takeaways, and not one comes closer to fantastic food, portion wise👍😋😁

Was out walking my dog, and realised I hadn't any onion bhajis or naan breads. So I called up and ordered over the phone. When I got there I got a wave from the gentleman behind the counter and when my order was ready the card machine was brought outside for me and then my order, plus a couple of poppadoms and sauces for free. Excellent customer service, very impressed for my first time ordering from them.

Usually go for the chicken tikka chilli massala however I tried the lamb dansak tonight. Just another top quality dish. Tender lamb pieces and a juicy thick lentil sauce. Many thanks as always to the chefs, staff and friendly delivery drivers 👌

Absolutely fantastic food. Popadoms and sides tasted fantastic, rice was well cooked, naan was perfectly done with fantastic flavour and texture and the curry was beautifully cooked and the flavours were delicious and rich. We ordered lamb tikka and lamb tikka buhna, both were packed with lamb and sauce, no skimping on the meat at all. Honestly, it's rare to find am amazing takeaway like this. I wish they did a dine in service as well, I'd absolutely come and visit. Far too tasty to only do takeaway!
