Always lovey fresh hot food & friendly staff 👌🏼

Not what it used to be. It's been a while since we've had something from here (because it was an especially bad one back then) and they used to do these massive crispy onion bhajis which are now replaced by some soggy flat miserable onion loaf things. The rest of the food was fine. Online ordering is very convenient

I tried this indian for the first time tonight, I have to say it was great! They are really friendly and are happy to help you with recommendations. I went in and ordered and it was nice to see they had an open kitchen as my little one also loved seeing the food being cooked in front of us. We will be back and if you have not tried this place recently, trust me you should.

Real good curry house. I have it when I come to visit my family in wickford. Friendly staff and you can see them cooking it in front of you. The place is clean and the food is always great.

I ordered from Pathari’s last night and I was very impressed by their food and service. The delivery was quick and the food was hot and delicious. I especially enjoyed the chicken tikka masala and the garlic naan bread. The portions were generous and the prices were reasonable. The staff were friendly and courteous on the phone and online. I would highly recommend Pathari’s to anyone looking for a great Indian takeaway in Wickford

Patharis is the best Indian takeaway in Wickford. I won't go anywhere else as the food is amazing. The staff are always friendly and polite , and seem happy to work there. I always order mine for the time I need and it is always ready. And best of all it is very good value for money.

So delicious and tasty excellent customer service and the best sag paneer I have ever tasted! I collected my order you can see the kitchen from the cash desk and I was really impressed with how spotless it was. Highly recommend!

It was so good to see that their menu was different from other indians, so we went for few of the unusual dishes and have to say its was great guys.

Amazing chicken tikka wrap with mint sauce, it was so good that I had to order another one. Followed by a chicken tikka masala and a keema naan. Very friendly staff, would high recommend- Best indian in essex!!

Went there with a couple friends for a takeaway and they did not disappoint. The buffalo wings were amazing and the garlic chicken was to die for. Will definitely return next week!

The most awful take away I have ever had. No taste at all. Poppadoms like wet cardboard. Prawns no taste. Just terrible and so disappointed as only order a few a year

Food was delivered fast, forgot the naan but came back with it very quickly. Hot food, nice flavours and not oily like some takeaway.

We have ordered a few times from here but tonight the food was all on point! Good portions and nicely cooked... not sitting in oil like ive had from other places! Honestly this has become our favourite takeaway and is the best Indian around this area! Great customer service - They forgot something of our order and had it sorted and delivered within 5/10 mins. Lovely service all round , 10/10 we are very happy satisfied customers! I'm not sure if they do a sit down option(restuarant) but if they do I will be visiting as soon as I can!

Had a Pathari’s takeaway a couple of Sundays ago and it was great. Delivered within 30mins of ordering and it was really hot, fresh and tasty - great chicken Jalfrezi!No deli belly the next day which is always a bonus! Will be ordering again soon.

Used pattharis over the last 4 years of living in Wickford and like the rest of the take aways/ Indian restaurants good one minute shocking the next over do the spice to cover up the lack of cooking skills or cheap chicken they use haven't had a curry in 3 months due to lockdown £30 plus and can't even chuck in a couple of poppadoms will never use this place again stop taking for mugs chicken was inedible

The Best Lamb Biriyani in Essex! they take care when marinating the lamb for the biriani as well as the Lamb Rogan. Once you try the food you will most definitely have it again!

This was my first time ordering from Patharis and I will definitely order from there again. One of the best Indian takeaways I've had in ages. The staff was really friendly and you can see straight through into the kitchen so you can watch your food being freshly cooked. 10/10

Best Indian takeaway in Wickford by a Country mile!

Ordered for 20 people last minute curry’s were really good. Recommended as was told curry and madras is really good compared to any where else in Wickford. I’m not from this town but would travel to eat here. Family origins are from India and they like the madras and curry at this establishment. Order was taken smoothly and delivered on time

I've recently moved to the area, I've tried majority of the Indians in town I haven't yet stuck to one yet but have to say after giving this place a try I think this is going to be now my local Indian takeaway! Food is delicious and when it arrived it was piping hot. I will be definetly ordering again guys keep up the good work.

Ordered a Indian on the weekend per usually from patharis and was brilliant for the price, would recommend it to everyone, very friendly staff and delivery driver aswell

I’m gutted really because I used to really rate this takeaway but it’s gone right downhill. The whole meal was just lukewarm and the lamb in the tandoori mixed Shuka was so tough my wife could not even cut it let alone chew it although the 1 king prawn was okTo be fair they gave me a free meal the next night but the chicken in the Dansak was so dry I left most of it and couldn’t be bothered to complain again I don’t think I will be returning again. This town is screaming out for a really good Indian restaurant or takeaway that really knows what there doing and doesn’t just over cook everything I think most of these Indian restaurants are just getting to greedy it wasn’t that long ago when they just gave you a load of poppadoms for nothing Now there like 80p each

At first, I was a little worried changing from my normal takeaway. I had nothing to worry about. Its cooked in front of you, so you can see what they are doing. Its good value and good quality

Yesterday I bought chicken dansak, pillau rice, nam bread & poppadum, which I collected at 6.00pm. With the exception of the poppadum, which was just about edible, everything else was garbage, in fact it was too bad to throw in the bin, I left it out all night and this morning there were 2 dead foxes outside my back door. Seriously though, it was the WORST takeaway meal I have ever had. Whoever gave these totally false reviews, shame on you !!!

Ordered from takeaway as our usual has gone downhill since changing hands. Will do so again! Fresh tasty flavour some meal and best onion bhajis I've had in a long while. Would definitely recommend.

it was new years day and we expected a bit of a wait for delivery and we're told it would be 1h20mins. After an hour and a half we phoned to check it and they said it was all ready they were just waiting for the delivery driver to come back, 10 minutes later I got a call from them saying they were out of 2 of the sides we had ordered so would we like something else and we went for the veg samosas. After over 2 hours the food finally arrived, they had included a free chicken rice dish for the birthday boy which I thought was nice of them.

Excellent takeaway. Food is sublime and staff are friendly, polite, sincere and helpful. Very clean and welcoming.

Over priced, very average food. Use the Bekash instead it’s a lot nicer and you won’t get ripped off.

Have only used takeaway from this restaurant but by far the best in the area! Usually a 30 minutes wait for delivery unless peak time

Food was slightly late but was still hot (only 15 mins). Food was nice, received apologies for lateness and was given extra papadoms which they didnt have to do but was nice gesture.

This is/was our 'go-to' local Indian and it's always good quality food at a reasonable price but our loyalty is being tested. Unfortunately the dissapointment is their proneness to order errors. We have had the odd dish missed here and there in the past or an extra/unexpected dish in the takeaway bag. Tonight was sadly a good example of this. After collecting our order we got home to find ourselves short - credit to Patharis; they had already realised and sent the missing food out on delivery. Sadly it arrived after we had finished eating but following a phonecall to the restaurant a 40% discount off the bill was offered. Apparently they have a lot of new staff under training and were very apologetic. The young man in the restaurant was very friendly and sympathetic so not all was lost. We might be back? 🤔 🤷‍♂️

I've ordered from various takeaways in Wickford and Basildon and Pathari's is my go to. I can't fault the excellent food and service. They never fail to disappoint, therefore I highly recommend this place.

I order a take away regularly and this has never failed to be perfect. We all love the food and the speed of delivery. The food is tasty and fresh. Never had a problem with any of it. Always delivered piping hot too.

Brilliant Indian food which is not greasy. Had King prawn bhuna and partner had Chicken Korma Both dishes were brilliant, nice Bhajis, pompadoms and nan bread Love this place.

I live in basildon but was reccommended this place by a family member who lives in wickford and im glad they did we have had several take aways from here over the past three months and every one of them has been delicious, the order is always correct and the food is just the best.

Since its been taken over about 8 months ago the food and service has become at a very high standard, also its been very consistent every week. Their delivery times are also very good even when they are at their busiest on saturday nights. The portion sizes here are also very generous especially the onion bhajees. Highly recommend this place you wont be disappointed.

I live in the North of England in Leeds but anytime myself and my partner are in Wickford we always have to go to Pathari's as it's the best Indian we know! Always great service from the staff there and the food is excellent. Would recommend to anyone.

Had a takeaway from Patharis the other Saturday and was very disappointed. I had the chicken tika bhuna the sauce was absolutely full of onions that was all l could tast and it looked like a thick orange jelly it was tasteless and only just warm, l couldn't even eat it, my husbands had tika biryani that was ok but only just warm. The place looks very clean but the food was disappointing. It has got very good reviews so don't know if we was just unlucky but don't think we'll bother again.

We have used all of the Indian restaurants in Wickford and this one is, in our opinion, by far the best. The garlic naan is lovely and the chicken tikka masala is the best I've ever had but all their food is very good and we would unreservedly recommend them x

When Patharis first opened, my husband and I used to order from here a lot. The food has always been great quality and delicious.Unfortunately, it was taken over by the Bekash - and the prices seemed to go up, too. We no longer found it reasonably priced - and so we stopped ordering from there.

I tried this place the other day when I visited Wickford and I was not disappointed. The food was absolutely amazing. The Garlic Naan was so good and the Chicken Tikka Biryani tasted absolutely delicious. I will definitely be visiting again when I'm next in town!

From the moment you walk in, you get the sense that this is a quality venue and was not disappointed. Food and service was excellent, this place does the best garlic naan's that i've ever had in my life. Food portions and taste were perfect - certainly will be returning soon! Highly recommended!!!!

Heard the previous bekash guys took over this place so had to give it a go as also found out they do delivery so i was really excited. Once i tried it tonight i was overwhelmed with the food it was just as amazing as what we use to get at the restaurant. Highly recommend for collections and delivery. Best in wickford by far..

In my opinion the Patharis Indian Takeaway is the best indian takeaway in wickford-well cooked and delicious food with a large variety to suit all tastes. My favourite dishes are king prawn puree,chicken methi hara,mumbai naga and their very special mix naan,but my more adventurous family prefer many of their spicier dishes. The service is excellent too,nice to go in and have a little chit chat with the lads at the front. Not had a problem with their delivery service either,their delivery service is fast with very friendly drivers. Highly recommended !!!

Wow. Super friendly and quick on the phone which is just what you want. Went to pick it up, got a 10% discount and was ready as i turned up. It isn't only just about the food like most takeaways but also a friendly service that comes along with the whole experience. Got home to taste a top quality indian that tasted fresh and packed with flavour. Everything you want from a curry. Definitely will be returning for the experience.

I was recommended their take outs were second to none, I was not disappointed! I asked for an extra hot chilli and garlic naan bread which was prepared on request! My meal on the whole was infused with spices blended beautifully together with each dish incorporating a distinct flavour.

Recently ordered from the Indian take Pathari's, me and few others really enjoyed our food the flavours in my curry was mouth watering I haven't ever come across such nice Indian food the food was just perfect. Would love to offer again soon

Food has always been to a very high standard, really good value for money as portion sizes are always plenty. Friendly staff who take the order and delivery drivers are always extremely polite.Able to pay on card over the phone too which was a bonus.

What a shame, this used to be the best takeaway in Wickford. The curry we had tonight was extremely disappointing - no flavour and watery, the pilau rice tasted of watery boil in the bag plain rice. I'd heard it had gone downhill but thought I'd try it and make my own opinion. I wish I never bothered, will be finding a new Indian for the future. Won't be going back whilst under this management
