I just ordered my dinner from here and it was absolutely delicious. Not oil and, Super fresh! Very tasty lovely herbs and cooked very nicely. The nann bread was actually the very best that I have ever eaten from any restaurant..SUPER SOFT AND FRESH. I will be ordering more very soon! I am a very happy bunny.

Ordered from here as our local place was closed on a Monday - absolutely best the decision ever! The best Indian takeaway we've ever had, arrived hot and was extremely tasty. Only reason we didn't give 5 stars was because delivery was longer than anticipated, however it was well worth the wait.

I ordered Tikka biryani tastes obviously good and chicken pieces also more . Worth for that price. Awesome.....

we also got the text as father's day offer, we called (no one picked up)we thought they are very busy so then placed order online. Money has been taken but no food ! In the past we had good delivery and great food.

They sent an SMS promoting fathers day deals, then guess what, the place is closed on fathering Sunday?!

I have gotten takeaway from Rajah a number of times and it’s been great. I have no complaints apart from one time where they forgot our order. Today, they sent a code for Father’s Day and they haven’t responded to our call and taken the money when we placed an online order! If you are seeing this - just let everyone know that you are closed today so that you don’t have more orders coming through and don’t have more customer complaints!

Beautifully presented, and clearly freshly cooked, the chicken was tender, the rice just right, and the nan breads too. Rajah is a rare find, our new go-to takeaway – and it should now be yours too! Go to Indian takeaway after moving to the area a year ago. Speedy, delicious and reasonably priced. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

The friendliest people and the most authentic food! Absolutely divine and all cooked as you wait, nothing is pre prepped and reheated. The dish I was made today was out of this world, I was asked if they could their own twist to the butter chicken and I am just soooo in love with the food. I highly recommend this beautiful place! We're lucky to have the Rajah takeaway locally. The staff are always polite and friendly. I call my order over direct, for collection when ready. The food is delicious and the chefs are excellent. The food is always hot once we sit down to eat it. I'm vegetarian and there are plenty of options to choose from. A vegan friend visited and the staff were so helpful, checking allergies on screen and recommending options that would be suitable for her or could be adapted. I am told the meat mains are really tasty too. Definitely recommend!

Would love to be leaving a positive review as the food is great. However, the management and service is appalling. Ordered a delivery online on Wednesday (my birthday), only to find out after 8 phone calls and no answer long after the curry should have arrived, I got in my car and drove down to see it was closed. Meaning I had to go find something else at 9:30pm on a Wednesday, with a 5 week old baby and hungry wife at home. On Thursday I got a phone call saying my money would be refunded and received an apology blaming the website provider for the mistake, as they knew they would be closed. I pointed out that they could have updated Google and left a voicemail saying they were shut. I asked to speak to a manager/ owner and was told they would call me on Friday. Today I decided to call and speak to the manager or owner and was met with a different excuse. That the shop had closed for an emergency gas leak, otherwise they would have left a voicemail… call me a cynic but I don’t buy it. For my troubles all I was given was a refund and an apology, not even a free onion bhaji - shocking customer service.

I have stop using this restaurant for many months now because of there delivery times was so poor. The food I must say was lovely so tonight I gave it another go . Well that was a mistake with a delivery time of hour and 40 minutes they have not changed one bit. The food this time was not the same was not worth waiting for . The mint sauce was disgusting the food was warm at best. I can say it is. A real shame because this was my favourite Indian takeaway but it’s go so far down hill I don’t think I’ll be returning for more.

It's a takeaway so not much to comment on with the atmosphere, though it's clean and modern inside. This is our go to take away for Halal South Asian food. Very tasty and usually good service all around. Nice friendly staff. I recommend the chicken shashlik 👌😋

First time ordering and I have tried many. I personally would recommend and will be ordering again. Firstly all tupperware was labled, so important after drooling over the menu. The chicken shatkora is tasty and tender as is the chicken tikka bhuna. The star for me was the meat Achari, tender and full f flavour. I ordered early (5.45Pm) and it was all freshly cooked. Staff are always friendly and the food is always brilliant and not oily, restaurant is clean. I’ve always ordered from here and never had a bad experience. Would recommend ordering directly via the resturant rather than Uber eats, deliveroo or just eat as it is cheaper. Can’t really go wrong as there is a good choice of options on the menu including vegetarian. Lots of parking outside or down one of the side roads which is always good.

They gave me a ring to apologise for the delay which was appreciated, and it all arrived well within the JustEat timeframe anyway so there was no need to apologise. The food is very tasty indeed, and I have been given a mountain of food that will easily last 2-3 meals for just over £20. 5 stars

Used to be a regular and loved the food, but recent order was disappointing and I don't think I will order again. There is now much less meat and sauce (doesnt even fill up box), and just full of onions and peppers. This is on top of a price increase, this is inflation to the fullest extent, directly and indirectly. I think the owners went a bit too far in one go on their changes.

Once again this restaurant have let themselves down, great food,appalling delivery service, for a restaurant that only offer takeaway / delivery service they need a huge improvement. We used to spend £200.00 a month without fail but due to this poor delivery service it kills me to spend £50.00 a month as I know the delivery will be not just late but really late, tonight's order 90 minutes, I was told 45 mins when placing the order, I chased after 60 minutes to be told it had left and on it's way, 20 minutes later no delivery, chased again, got another apology and told we will give you free poppadoms, when it turned up no poppadoms and cold food. Driver blames bosses, bosses blames drivers and actual comment from the manager tonight was his drivers are rubbish.

This is a small takeaway premises, but it's warm and friendly. You have the option to sit in their reception while you wait for your meal, or maybe go to the pub opposite for a beer (not advisable). Food here is second to none. I've lived in Bradford and Birmingham and this place is better than any I've been to. Chatted with the owner and he has two more places. I can't recommend them highly enough. Today, it was chicken tikka and a tarka daal, I've never had a bad dish from them. If it's a busy time, give them a chance, they'll give you an idea of timings, but they're popular, so they're busy! Very highly recommended.

Food taste is not at all spicy. Better customers ask explicitly. Presentation of food is good. Paneer tikka we get small pieces rather tikka size. Hope this helps

Ordered a delivery for the first time tandori mix-grill and test very nice naan Brad excellent an and it didn’t disappoint. Courteous telephone manner and polite driver. Food was delicious and well cooked. We’ve tried a few places locally but this is by far our favourite, will definitely order again and will try the restaurant too. Well done 👍🏽

The food here is delicious. We've ordered from this restaurant twice and wasn't disappointed. The korma curry is very sweet but that's very typical of a korma. My husband loved it. Their jalfrez is nice and spicy and I loooved it. The special rice is amazing 👏 and their vegetable briyani is big enough for two and is also delicious. The garlic Naan is huge. I recommend the vegetable meal for two at £19 this will easily feed three hungry adults. The house delivery was fast and the driver was very curtious. The best thing is that their food is not oily and it tastes like traditional Indian home cooking. I come from South Africa and Indian curry is a staple food there. I am so glad to have found such a lovely Indian take away. You will see me again soon!

Normally have a really good experience from here, and the only thing making me post a review is the fact that after 1.45 minutes and being on the phone around 5 or 6 times, the guy on the phone wouldnt budge on the total amount. I was offered £4.20 off my bill by this time i actually didnt want to eat so said take my meal and rice back, to this, i was told was not an option. I was happy to pay for the other 2 peoples meals. Long story short, 10% discount i refused and told them to take the whole thing back. Ordered at 7.50 on a tuesday, delivery turned up at 9.35! Wont go back again

I counted about five bits of chicken in my curry and the chicken tikka main is no better. The butter chicken looks like something that comes outta a newborn after they’ve been on the milk all day. I paid £57 for this…I’d have been disappointed even if I’d have paid £15!

Have tried numerous takeaways since moving to the area and Rajah is far and away the best. Really flavoursome food that's of a consistently high quality. Really recommend the chicken achari and meat Buryan, which are both fabulous. If you do collect you receive a really warm welcome and super service. Can't rate them highly enough. Really glad we've discovered this place!

Just home from a long day travelling and ordered a delivery via Just Eat. The food arrived almost 2 hours late and cold. Spoke to Rajah numerous times asking to just cancel and get refund but refused. We actually had to stay up for the delivery. The so called madras was watery, flavourless gloop. Avoid.

Great service, delivery and of course great food! I ordered a delivery over the phone to my cousin's address, as a surprise, because it was his & and his wife's anniversary. The staff was super friendly & very helpful and when I asked if it was possible to leave a note with the delivery, they even offered to buy a card from the card shop and include it in the order! Very sweet, and much appreciated - food, according to my cousin, was great! Thanks Rajah team :)

Had takeaways from these guys for years. Usually good but the last one was awful. Lamb Rogan had 2 pieces of meat. Called to complain, was basically called a liar, begrudgingly sent another one round, this time with 4 pieces of tiny meat. Not good at all. Thanks for the response, although once again you cannot take any feedback, accept the customer is your number one priority and they may have a point. If you labelled the curry 'tomato Rogan' then it would not be so misleading. There are plenty of takeaways out there and we will be utilising them in the future. Best
