I tried this place for the first time, and the food didn't taste anything like authentic Indian cuisine. I didn't enjoy it at all and won't be ordering again due to my disappointment.

Lovely food as always but the price is creeping up. Is it really necessary to charge 10p for a bag, 50p for a Service Charge and £1.00 for delivery? I don't think so. A 10% discount for a £25 or over spend is not really enough.

Food not as good as I remember it. Slightly bland. Veggie starters were unimpressive except onnion bhajee. I ordered chicken pathia, veggie starter, lamb bhuna.

Our fourth order with Kohinoor - previously very happy but this time our daughter’s main dish was missing. We had relatives visiting and the missing dish ruined what should have been a pleasant, relaxing dinner. Tried calling but the restaurant’s main phone number rang before saying “this person is unable to answer calls”. After the tenth attempt I gave up and had to order the missing dish locally, go to collect, and eat my own (cold) food afterwards. Terrible service.

At this point it still hasn’t arrived. I’ve called them several times to see where it is, nothing concrete. Let’s see if it shows up. Would not recommend.

This place is bang out of order, we ordered couple of times and we was regular customers, today it was my daughters birthday meal and we done a big order for family and friends, we first received order and the Popadoms were old and stale, food didn’t even taste nice all curries tasted the same as if they used one gravy for all!! Then they forgot our two dishes and say we didn’t even pay for it, when the owner repeated order on the phone and said the price, and then they bring the two dishes after 1hour!!!! And tell us to pay on the spot! Bareing in mind they made the mistake and then come an hour late and then ask for money for it! What a shame lost customers and will never return I will also tell other families that order from there not to order from them again! Very rude and don’t no how to run a business!!!!

Food lacked flavour very plain. Delivery was later arriving than expected however was still within a reasonable time and they also did notify about the delay.

The food here is great, not too greasy and plenty of flavour without being overwhelming, portions are a good size, and the people running it are lovely!

The wait time was already about over hour then it was late, not impressed

Waited 90 minutes for delivery on a Monday night… food was delivered in a freezer box and was soggy and cold. The curry was nice but the rest was inedible. Such a shame as the reviews were good. The delivery driver was very apologetic but sadly doesn’t change the food taste and poor restaurant service.

We ordered a vegetable mixed starter that was really horrible and far too oily, but everything else (poppadom, sauces, keema and garlic naan, mushroom rice, buttered chicken and korma) were lovely and top quality. If they'd sort out the deep fried oil levels I'd give it a perfect score

What can I say. This is fast becoming my favourite place to order from. Kohinoor are stetting a good standard. Everything was amazing, if I had one critic that would make this place better would be to sell traditional home made samosa, the generic ones they sell are ok but not a patch on the real deal!

This Indian takeaway has to be the best I have had in such a long time. The rice is perfect. The flavour in the curry's are amazing...love it

Very good standard of food. We had a few items missing but it was Saturday evening so I assume the restaurant was very busy and this was an unintentional oversight on their part. The experience was made better for me by the delivery driver, an older gentleman who was very nice and polite. I saved the paratha for breakfast this morning, I’m eating it as I’m writing this and it’s delicious! This is my second time ordering from here and I will order from here again.

We have been loyal customers and was disappointed to notice that prices are increasing and the amount of food is decreasing. The lack of chicken in the curry's is poor. Think it's time to go elsewhere

Perfect food and service every time!

I never seen a yellow butter chicken and taste awful. Lamb is not cooked properly. Naan is from a shop and not in house. We packed the food back same way it came and called the restaurant and asked them to send someone to collect the food. Will never order again.

Everything that was cooked fresh was amazing! King prawn puri, chicken tikka and garlic naan were all delivered hot and were tasty. I would recommend those. The biryani wasn’t great, just warm, lacking the flavours I would expect, quite bland to be truthful. There was a generous amount of lamb but the meat was overcooked and dry, the accompanying vegetable curry was hot, fresh, tasty and had a good mix of veggies. I’d expect the biryani to be the star of the show not the veggie curry but with some of the gravy combined with the rice it made it an ok dish overall. The food was delivered around 20mins early by an older gentleman who was nice & polite. I would try again but I’ll avoid the biryani.

Delivery slightly late, but I did order a variety of dishes and it's a weekend night. I'd rather it be late knowing it was cooked fresh. I've been looking for a good Indian restaurant since moving to London from West Bromwich. Haven't been able to find anything as good as Akash Balit which has won awards in Best Curry and Best Chef. I haven't had a curry as tasty as that and not oily at all and this includes all dishes order, chicken and veg. I think the prices are very reasonable and looking forward to trying some more dishes!

Wow! First time ordering from here and I’m so glad we did. We’ve been looking for a good curry house for ages and keep being let down. The food was incredible delivered hot and fresh, the portions are huge and the flavour of everything was amazing! The food was amazing - delivery time was quite long but it being a Friday evening it is what it is and the staff were incredibly polite and apologetic on the delay. Best take away food we have had in a long time can’t wait to order other items off the menu.

I understand the rise in prices but we also felt a drop in quality in our latest order, having been pleased with orders before. It also arrived cold and items were missing. We'll be finding somewhere else next time!

Have ordered twice now, food is ok, way off micheline star?, but what i hate most is not getting what you have ordered, or should i say parts of an order, i.e salad, sauces, puri's that are listed as part of a dish not being delivered, well kohinor catch me once shame on you, catch me twice, end of, won't be using again

I don't know what happened today as this isn't our first order from Kohinoor. The naan bread was missing from the order. The food was bland. Such a shame because deliveries from this restaurant are usually great.

The food at the Kohinoor is unmatched in South London

Sadly our order missed a few items which marred the experience. The mixed grill did not have a nan. The vegetable starter was sans samosa. The chicken Dansak was okay but overall dissapointed.
