The owner is delightful, the place is well furnished and comfortable, and the food is very good.

Had amazing time food was so good pricey but worth it would definitely recommend.

The best Indian restaurant that we have visited in Wimbledon in the last 18 years of living here. If you visit on the weekend over lunchtime, heartily recommend trying their street food tapas. They recommended the Chaat Bomb. Just incredible. We will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful time at Bombay Delight. The food was delicious, we started off with popadoms with a variety of sauces and then moved on to a warm/ spicy kind prawn dish and a paneer butter masala (the pictures don’t do them justice!). The customer service was excellent. Everybody from the second we walked through the door, was extremely attentive and kind. Our waiter was so lovely too (I’d really like to mention him personally but can’t remember his name). I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who has the time to go. I will definitely be coming back very soon.

A hidden gem! Exquisite and authentic Indian food. Attentive and courteous staff and the manager Vishal, who had time for you to explain any questions you had. Almost felt as if we were in Mumbai, India. Great food and service so keep up the good work gentlemen.

We were here for a party with 15 guests, the team were very welcoming. From the entrance, we could feel their hospitality as well as the venue ambience is lovely for adults as well as for kids. They have an extensive menu complete with vegetarian options and really good non vegetarian options. Their dishes were cooked to perfection and service time was ideal for a large group. We tasted tons of dishes like lamb chops, lamb biryani, dal makhani and variety of cocktails. Lovely staff and highly recommend them for authentic Indian cuisine. Keep up team!!

Nice restaurant, Staff are lovely, Food was good. Menu isn't extensive, I asked for Chicken Chana but unfortunately I was told they were unable to add Chicken into the Chana dish, the curry is very mild so if you like heat ask for some fresh chilli.

Delicious meal although small portions. Aditya in particular made the experience very enjoyable and he made us some delicious cocktails!

Bombay Delight in London offers tasty Indian food with excellent service in a cozy atmosphere. The butter paneer andcilli paneer are highlights!

Super amazing is the only word I can think of. From food to services me and my family were in the awe. Though bit expensive but we really enjoyed the experience to the fullest, after a very very long time in UK. The food as well is very Indian authentic taste.

We had a great time for my friend's birthday dinner! Beautiful food, everything was stunning :) We were a big group and a bit loud, but the servers were great at handling the orders, letting us know when we were too loud and generally facilitating a good time. Thank you!!

Appreciate the restaurant accommodating me for what was a table of 3 to a table of 6. Rushali was efficient and very helpful with setting up the table, and taking our drinks and food order. She repeated the order to make sure we had everything we wanted. We had the table for 1 hour 15mins so to eat starters and mains in that time plus dessert is really heavy on the stomach. But they helped us so I get it. The food was good. But the chops require more seasoning and spice. As does the kebabs. The tandoori broccoli was delicious as was the rasmali dessert. Chicken biryani looks great but requires more spice and taste also. You pay a premium for the food and would expect More taste. The sauces are used for most dishes and the meat and fish changes which is fine but feel for the price point more taste required

We loved our lunch at Bombay Delight. The ambiance is really nice, the food was delicious and our waiter Aditya really looked after us. We even got a surprise at the end to celebrate our special occasion! We will definitely be back!

Very impressed with the meal and service for dinner for two during the week. The very good reviews were certainly confirmed for us. Firstly, it is clear that this restaurant is a level above your average Indian on the high street. Why? Well as we were examining the menu, a waitress brought a trolley with a range of fresh fish and prawns that were offered to be cooked in any way we chose. Even the popadums were individual works of art, small and carefully handcrafted. The mains were delicious: a prawn dish in a tasty sauce and chicken korma with rice. Again the naan breads were different to what you normally expect, more juicy and thin, filled with almonds and coconut. For dessert, carrot cake and coconut ice cream were an excellent combination. OK the whole experience was a little on the pricey side, but well worth it as the food and service from the helpful staff was great. Thanks for a wonderful evening!

Came here for a date night. Turns out the food was greater than expected for taste and serving. We loved the friendliness of their service and wouldn't be surprised if it's completely full on the weekend. This has gone into hidden gems for go-to restaurants for me.

This was the 5th visit here and it’s time to leave a review. It’s fab freshly cooked food served by delightful staff! On our last visit we chose a fish from their fresh trolley and it was delicious! Thoroughly recommend a visit here to experience an Indian meal a cut above the rest!

Passing the Bombay delight on a daily basis as I swim everyday just 100 yards from the restaurant. I decided to book my 70th birthday meal at the Bombay delight just my wife and myself as daughter busy a d held up at work and son wrapping g it up in Vietnam. So we have eaten many times in the Bombay Delight and go way back to when it was called Confuscius. Confused well we have never been dissapointed with the food with the service with the ambience. Ordered as starters the samosa chat and the dosa both as tasty as ever. Moving on to the mains I played it safe with a tasty creamy chicken korma and my wife had a rasty chick pea vegetarian dishes acompanied with carries rice dishes. On arrival as we were only 2 I suggested they not bother with traditional cake for the birthday boy which was me but I'm glad they ignored me and quietly brought over the cake at the end of our meal. Delicious. Finished of our meal with some masala chai tea. Happy Days at Bombay Delight and we will be back in early November when we have friends over from Spain Fernando Nieto

I pass the Bombay Delight everyday on my way to swim 100 yards from the restaurant. Decided to book a table for 4 for my 70th birthday but on the day we were whistled down to 2 my wife amd myself. We hae eaten at the Bombay delight many times which continues to be our daviurite Indian and can go back to when it was called Confuscius. Yet again we were not dissapointed we started with the samosa chat and dossa crepe before moving on to a tasty chicken korma just slightly better than when I make it at home and a chick pea vegetarian dish for my wife. On arrival at the restaurant I advised as their were only 2 of us a celebratory cake but I'm glad they still quietly brought over the oozy chocolatey brownie topped with cream and strawberries. Yum Finished off meal with some Masala chai tea and we were happily on our way. We will return I. early November when we have friends over from Spain. Service was yet again very good and nice to see familiar faces on duty see you then Fernando Nieto

Came across Bombay Delight when recently moved to the area and was a real gem. Lovely food and presentation, staff so friendly too. If you are in search of an indian in wimbledon definitely give this a try - one of the best chicken tikka masalas we've ever tried. We will be back!

Bombay Delight is highly rated and rightly so. The restaurant is tastefully decorated, very contemporary, very sharp and this is matched by the staff themselves (I like that we were on first name terms). The food too offers something a little different and it hits the mark. You can tell a lot about a place by the quality of their lamb chops and Bombay Delight’s were decent. Giving this 3 stars as the food has been excellent, however, if you're looking for a family evening out, I would certainly not recommend it. I had finished the evening feeling marginalised for having a child and while I sent the child home with grandma (whose birthday it was on that day), I could not help feeling I am punishing him for being a baby. We had booked in advance and specified we needed a baby chair as we were coming with a 1 year old to celebrate a birthday. The baby was babbling to himself and at times testing his voice but not crying or screaming. We attended to him at all times. Half way through the meal a member of staff comes to us and says: "would you mind, we've received complaints from other guests". I am of the opinion that you either take or don't take children as a policy. But don't take the booking and then make your clients feel marginalised for having a baby. While the food has been excellent, this whole situation has left a very bad taste in my mouth and I certainly would not come again. P.S. I came back after I put the baby in the car to go home with grandma only to find my unfinished plate gone.

Visited here this evening and happy to have found a hidden gem in Wimbledon which I will for sure be returning to. The menu gave so much choice, and as a vegetarian I felt I was spoilt with options, offering a delightful range of dishes. As soon as we arrived it was a warm and inviting atmosphere to which immediately sets the tone for a comforting dining experience. Customer service was great, very polite, helpful as they recommended us some dishes to try, and very friendly. The Customer service added to our great experience here. The food was served fresh, with such detail to presentation. And of course tasted delicious. Overall, they delivered a great curry experience to which I would happily return, or recommend to anyone.

The food is so lovely here! Full of flavour. Manager was very attentive and the staff too. This is our second visit.

Our lovely waitress Janice served us and knew the menu extensively, she was able to give us recommendations based on our likes and dislikes and we were able to find our new favourite dish! (Their seafood collection is delicious). The drinks menu was also lovely. I would also recommend the cocktails.

We had lunch at this place. The ambience is very nice. Food is good as well, the Kebabs are bit on the drier side, could have been better but the Prawn starter and Indian breads were very nice. We were served by Prasad, who was very friendly, had a smile always, asked us whether we are good a couple of times and felt like a really nice person.

We had a wonderful dining experience at Bombay Delight, special mention goes to our waitress, Janice, who was exceptionally kind, thoughtful, and considerate throughout our meal. She recommended some seafood options, and we decided on the grilled fish. Since my parents can't handle too much spice, Janice kindly asked the chef to put the curry on the side and make the dish less spicy. The fish turned out to be delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed every bite. The other dishes we ordered, including the chicken and lamb, were equally impressive. Everything was cooked to perfection, and we left the restaurant very satisfied. We highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning.
