Food was really not nice, quite disgusting to be honest. Will definitely not be ordering from here again, really disappointed and a waste of money

Chicken in the curry was hit and miss, naan was a nice flavour but wrong texture, bhajis were nice.

I placed an order on Monday 14th August through their website. Please see picture showing their opening times. Clearly shows they are open Mondays. However after an hour and half I rang to chase my order. No one answered at all. I then drove up to discover that it was shut. They don't open Mondays or Tuesdays however their website still allowed me to order and took my money as well. I had to wait til Wednesday to speak to someone and came across someone who just didn't want to help me at all. They said I had to go through their website and contact the orderyoyo company direct to get my money refunded saying they can't do it at their end. That's a lie as orderyoyo says the takeaway place is suppose to do this for me. I'm having to go through my bank now in order to get money back.

Lamb curry with really chewy gristly lamb.

Absolutely lovely food. Finally found a place that does lovely onion bhajis. I went with set meal deal which is a bargain. 2 curries(both very delicious), rice, 6 bhajis, 2 big samosa, naan, 2 x poppadom, mint sauce and salad for only £20. Will certainly go back.

First time using Little India. Delivery charge a bit expensive as we are only down the road. Food was very tasty but wasn't quite as hot as it could be. Would deffo use Little India again as we enjoyed the flavours of the food

Consistently delicious. Just had a lovely Christmas Eve meal of Karahi and Korma. Both were excellent. Fries were crispy. Samosas and onion bhajis crisp and tasty and the portions were great. Would definitely recommend. Oh and the delivery driver was friendly too. Can't fault them.

Not good tonight! Been ordering for a long time from here and never had an issue but tonight wasn’t very pleasant. Stale popadoms, waterlogged rice and overcooked, dry and burnt chicken tikka. Not sure what’s gone wrong tonight, but it was a disappointment throughout.

This is the worst curry I have ever ordered. I’m so sorry. Oh it was so awful .

What can i say, ordered at 5:58pm.....it is now 9:01pm, and I'm sat here with hungry kids! Rung takeaway twice, told it was on it's way, still waiting for it to arrive! Appalling service, first and last time i will be ordering from them!

The food was inedible and when I rang up the takeaway to complain they were really rude and hung up on me with no apology. We’ve ordered from there before and it was fine but tonight was very disappointing and won’t be going back. A waste of £25

Our takeaway took almost 2 hours to arrive. We called to chase it when it was 15 minutes late and just got told “car’s got a puncture, it will be 5-10 minutes” but then it eventually turned up another 30 minutes later. Food was hot and good quality which made us think our order had just been forgotten about. Little disappointing as we usually get very prompt service from this restaurant

Uninspiring. Ordered 3 different curries, they all tasted similar and were somewhat greasy. Friendly service, but would not come back again.

wrong items sent, missing items. long delivery time and Food arrived Cold the Chicken was dry and rubbery didn’t taste right. and delivery driver driving like a maniac skidding and wheel spinning all over the road not good at all.

The is the best curry in the area, we are never disappointed and it’s always SO fresh! You’ve also gotta try the chicken tikka on nan and the onion bajis, can’t fault it. Friendly staff too.

I discovered this place by accident driving through Skelmansthorpe. Listed on TA as Huddersfield,but loads closer to me to collect a takeaway. Really friendly guys & food cooked in an open kitchen. Mixed tikka starter was delicious, the best & most succulent meat I've had from a takeaway. Large portion too. Mains were also very nice, the special comes in large containers, which would satisfy two. Great food at a great price. Can't wait to return.

Lovely friendly service, always good food and not too expensive. Little India do not use artificial colours and have an authentic tandori oven.

Lovely food but was very late and then we were missing chapati's, pilau rice and one of the mint sauce. We had to call them to ask how long, thought they could have made a curtesy call to tell us it would be late. Did not call back re missing items as knew they were so busy.

They said it was delivered on time but it actually took another 20mins to arrive. As such the food was good but cold.

The kebabs are very tasty we've had them twice now but the only problem is theyre swimming with grease at the bottom so I end up leaving a bit of nan. Curry is decent too. If not for the oil it would have been 7 stars ✨

This was our first Just Eat order from Little India. The menue choice was good, the service and delivery bang on schedule and the guy who delivered was very friendly. The food itself was excellent - piping hot and the Lamb Vindaloo was superb. We'll definitely be using these guys again!

Food lukewarm, wrong nanns in bags, poor greasy curry and delivery took 1 hr 45 mins.... I only live 3 minutes away, if I'd have known I wouldn't have bothered .... Second time in a row this has happened. Won't happen again.

Disappointed tonight. Salad poor and my creamy garlic mushrooms were tasteless. Don't have a takeaway very often so when we do order one we have high expectations, sadly very poor tonight. No salad received with a burger we ordered and paid for - and the salad we received for another order was atrocious. Sorry little India - really hope it was a one off....

I have ordered from little India many times and it is always beautiful, but today my chicken was brown and chewy. I'm hoping this is a one off as normally it is delicious

this is our local take out in an area spoiled for choice - plentiful, well-cooked - recommend the lamb karai and chicken tikka - veg dishes are good too

Menu is good - some interesting 'non-standard' choices. The starters are excellent, and the naan bread is prety good. The meat curries are generally good, opccasionally a bit greasy, and we like the larger size dishes - one serves two people comfortably. My only complaint is that their vegetarian dishes are in my opinion overpriced at almost the same cost for potatoes with spinach as for a chicken curry.

My partner ordered a chicken tikka main. It says on the menu it comes with rice and chappatis. Niether arrived so we called them. They were rude and tried to make out that it doesnt come with either. We have it in front of us in black and white. They are on their way with the rice and chappatis but to be honest they can stick it (the curry is now cold) won't be ordering from these cowboys again ever! Oh and my lamb was missing all I got was fat!

The food was really nice, the samosas and Bhajis looked home made unlike some of the tiny frozen ones many takeaways now serve. The mixed starter was great value and impressive, while all the rest of the dishes we ordered were all very nice a tasty. Each item was individually wrapped with cling film and very well presented unlike others I have visited where when you get home and oil is leaking out all over the packages. All in all the whole family was very impressed as we have struggled to find a takeaway we really enjoyed with most leaving us disappointed and thinking was it really worth it with a takeaway meant to be a treat for us but with these guys we were very content and will definty be ordering again and think we have found a curry house we will be sticking with from now on

This was the best indian I have had in the area, I've struggled to find a good one, my only fault was the curry size was smaller than most others, but I suppose it's quality not quantity but I would have liked a bit more !

Ordered two portions of rice on two separate occasion and only received one both times. When I called to question it they said that had put both portions into one tray, however there was not enough rice to accompany two different meals. So I paid £4 for one small container of rice. Suggestion from me would be to serve rice in seperate containers so no confusion in the future. Thanks.

The delivery time was within the expected time frame however the quality of the food was poor. The samosas were almost like Cornish pasties, not the flaky layered stuff I’m accustomed to, The kebab was on naan not on pitta bread as ordered. I didn't bother checking the bill as I was glad of the additional stodge as the meat on the kebab was sliced randomly from almost 1 inch slices to what you would expect so my dogs enjoyed the slabs of kebab meat. At least this filled me up but as for the Lamb Bhuna......... disaster!!!! I cook curries regularly and ironically cooked a bhuna that night but because it needed a bit more TLC and my fiancé was not happy with the my estimated time of completion so I ordered a curry from Just Eat . In a bhuna the sauce should be based on a smooth onion and spice paste not as the dish provided which came with chunks of half cooked onion, tiny chunks of Lamb and was pretty tasteless. The whole lot ended up in the bin after a few mouthfuls. We will go back to Maxis in Denby Dale and just pay them cash. Does anyone from Just East actually audit the quality of the restaurants they sign up ?- It appears not so I recommend a Regional QA Manager is needed to ensure Just Eat maintain their position as market leader and also ensure the best local establishments are incorporated into their network and you do not sign up “just anyone”. Using the very intuitive platform I also feel Just Eat should consider it should be expanded to replicate so morning breakfast outlets, lunch sandwich outlets are also incorporated and bolted onto the current business model. 3 potential transactions per day instead of 1 - Food for thought?

All ok but I received the wrong main course. I asked for prawn and got chicken! I prefer prawns!

Had to search for the meat in the dishes,when I did find it lamb was mostly gristle, wish I had brought a jar of Pataks and made it myself. Wont be ordering again from this restaurant

Delivery was ASAP, and faster than the estimate, and found our first floor office (really should have said about that in notes to takeaway i guess) Food was good, and not just because I was hungry!

As a regular here I can say that quality is consistantly high. The guys are always friendly and there is no takaway on earth that can deliver fast enough when you are hungry, but these guys do a pretty good job of trying, sometimes beyond closing time :-) We have, in the distant past, had a couple of missing items etc, but this is a tiny fraction of the correct deliveries made.

Delivered on time, friendly driver, food red hot and very scrummy will def be ordering again!
