Spicy Kitchen in Wirral

RANK!! I ordered a chicken Tika masala pilau rice and popodoms. I picked up my order, I was half way home when they rang to say I had been given the wrong order so I turned around and went back. I shouldn't have bothered! The curry had no taste and wasn't even spiced, rank sour or lemony I couldn't and did not want to know which, but in any case i wasn't good! the rice was a stale lump in the plastic pot and the popodoms had been fried in what tasted like stale oil, they even smelt cheesy, one bite and they all went in the bin alongside the foul disgusting chicken Tika Madras and the awful establishments failed attempt at rice! £15 down the drain, I would not be recommending, or buying any takeout from this place again.

Good food special kebabe is very nice hint off lemon and garlic sauce . Pop corn chicken bit prices very good for price deffo come back again

Ordered special meal for one,son was in shop over an hour whilst they prioritised phone orders after his, no poppadoms, phoned up and got oh well will give you 4 next time🙇‍♀️I think not, you have lost our business, the peshwari nan stale, korma was awful, pilau rice was gunk, all in the bin, never going there again,

Ordered kebab takeaway x3... No garlic mayonnaise or sweet chilli dressing as requested. Naan was thin and crispy not light and fluffy.. Won't be using again.. Disgusting and horrible

Blood in chicken front of house covered in grease, watched him make food and not even clean hands befor he prepared chicken!!! And have pictures to show it

Owner is a fantastic fella... just a shame that his food tastes... as I imagine a card board box would... really a shame that they constantly peck you with messages about opening times.. DONT SHARE CONTACT DETAILS WITH THEM, you get 20 odd messages a day and when you politely ask them to stop... they send more... ps.. take my number off your system

Food is really nice. Bit awkward to park but nearly always a space in the top car park. Can be a bit of a wait but the food is freshly cooked and is well worth the wait.

I like the food here however food too long to receive after order. Or a shame as over the years this place has progressively got slower

Excellent curries and kebabs; the lamb tikka kharahi is superb, as are the naan breads, and the mixed and chicken kebabs. A extensive menu and very friendly, knowledgeable staff are a pleasure to chat to, and the pricing offers great value. After 13 years living in Singapore, I know my curries, and the ones at SK are top notch. Highly recommended.

The best chicken kebabs on the wirral. All served fresh in naan bread. Chicken is perfect. Large portions and good value. We drive 15 mins each way for our spicy kitchen fix! 😂 😍😋

Food is great, I particularly like the korma and the naans are excellent, I would have given 5 stars but I can't because they somehow don't accept card payments in 2023

Mixed bag with this place, sometimes the food is excellent particularly the lamb samosas other times it is cold and greasy.. Or even worse burnt. Staff are friendly though especially the owner.

Been going to this Indian takeaway for a few years now and never had a bad meal. We normally go for the tandoori chicken tikka, absolutely superb! The place is spotlessly clean and the the service is excellent, cant recommend highly enough.

Best take away on the Wirral,every meal a pleasure to eat, and the owner eager to please and cheerful to chat to.If we could give the spicy kitchen 100 Percent we would do Gina/Derek

Reasonable food, unfortunately, ExxonMobil will soon be taking over to start drilling due to the sheer volume of oil.

Visited the take away during my trip to Liverpool with my family. It was late night and I wasn't expecting to find many take aways but this place caught my attention. The food options are amazing and almost endless. The popcorn chicken had to be the highlight for me as I've never had popcorn chicken which tastes so good before. I was really impressed by the curry options too. The chef was able tp adjust the spice and make the curry I ordered to my preferred spice. Overall the staff were very very friendly and took care of my and my siblings during our visit. They cooked the food with care and it was clear they put their attention to detail... This was all visible. Thank you for making our stay in Liverpool that extra bit more special. Would definitely recommend this place to those visiting or in need of a late night meal. Will be back there next time I'm in Liverpool. 10/10

Probably the best Indian we've had. First time ordering through recommendations from colleagues (I was a bit skeptical) and I must say, it was delicious! We ordered the Set Menu for 2 for £21.99 and it was packed! Really really good! Definitely will be our new local!

Great food great staff it is great

Every time i walk past the spicy kitchen I can’t get in as there is always more than 3 people inside the shop so me and the wife have to stand outside for a long time to give our order. Clearly the owner doesn't follow government Covid rules why have the signs up if they are not followed not happy wont be coming back some one needs to talk to owner or report!

Lucky to have this place on my doorstep and puts other restaurants let alone takeaways to shame. Such a friendly service to boot so I can't complain at all. Be warned, the outside of the place is deceptive but you won't be disappointed for the money.

This is our regular Indian Takeaway, in fact we visit once a week. Excellent Food, Friendly and very Efficient Service. Well Recommended

They do curries and the usual kebab shop stuff, and its my favourite place to go if I'm after a curry or a kebab.. Friendly service, always fresh and the tandoori breads are the best on the Wirral. Only downside is they dont deliver but that doesn't stop me going back!

Fantastic curries, cannot fault. Family run business, very attentive, even gave us a Christmas card last Christmas. The only thing is I wish that they would deliver, if they did we would order food 5x more often. Please hire some drivers, I’m sure it would improve you profits!

I have been using this lovely takeaway for years and can’t believe I have never posted a positive review before as every takeaway we have had has been 1st class (and we have had a few). Hubby and I as well as our usual order fancied one of our favourite sides sag aloo which our appetites don’t usually make room for. OMG it was the best sag aloo ever ! Keep up the good work Babul

Absolutely disgusting. We ordered a garlic bread and a pizza. The garlic bread had no garlic butter on therefore had no flavour and both the pizza dough and garlic bread dough were completely raw right throughout the middle. Couldn’t eat either of them in fear of becoming ill. Would avoid here, don’t waste your money.

Called here on the way back to my accomodation whilst working on the wirral,The best chicken tikka on naan i've ever had. It was that good i had to go back a couple of days later later for another one !! I love the fact that the very friendly chef/owner rolled the naan dough in front of you and placed directly onto the the side of the traditional tandoor , So if your on the wirral i would definately go there.I be

We’ve been regular visitors to this excellent Takeaway for for some years as the Food is very good and cooked to a high standard.

Lovely food this is the third time weve used spicy kitchen.The first time we used it I had korma and there was literally 5 pieces of chicken which was disappointing.So we decided to go back a second time and was served by the young man that's in there and we had loads of chicken we were really impressed the third time the older man served us again and we had 5 pieces of chicken so to be honest we were annoyed I think it depends on.who serves you in there its.put us off going back for awhile so hopefully they will improve the amount of meat they put in the curries

Every dish made fresh, can take about 20 mins to knock up a jalfrezie if your waiting in there, but so worth it. Amazing Indian food 👍. My new go-to.

Not happy at all this is the 3rd time I've had donner meat and chips from here thinking give it one last chance.once again cold might aswell get a bag of chips out the freezer and eat them.donner meat like a flip flop also COLD. It seems like they do one order at a time I was waiting in there for 40 minutes ( just for donner and chips) Not hard is it!Will NOT be going back.

Had a chicken tikka nan after having a beer in the village with friends!! Three of us had the same and another got a Donna kebab. We all enjoyed our food..... Massively. The chicken tikka was the best I have ever had. Great customer service also. We will all be going back. Can't recommend this place enough. Very clean inside which was nice to see

My Family and I have been visiting the Spicy Kirchen Indian Takeaway since it opened some years ago. If anything, the Food is even better now and portion sizes are excellent. Very friendly Owner also

Unfortunately after our last donner kebab experience we werent well for 3 days. What a shame but we will have to give it a miss in the future.

Stunning food! Lots of flavour, the meat just melted in my mouth and everything was so fresh! The chips are really nice too.. No more greasy chippy food for me, Spicy Kitchen is my new favourite place to get a takeaway!

Now folks the truth is that its kne of the best takeaways on wirral not only because theyr dishes taste great but on top of that they have an open kitchen so you can see exactly how they cook your meal and its very clean aswell thats why they have 5 star rating from food hygiene agency. I would highly recommend. Tried about seven times and never i was dissapointed!

This is one of my favourite Indian take away - the quality of good is excellent as well as the prices- great choices with warm and welcoming staff- definitely try here if you're after a great take out

Ordered chicken tikka on naan as we have had this before an it's delicious. What a disappointment !!!! Just didn't taste the same as previous. The lemon juice was overpowering an the tikka marinade was tasteless.

I was walking on Greasby Road, Greasby and went past this takeaway place. This was my first visit in this beautiful and desirable place. I loved the passionate smell of food hence I decided to go in and order food. I ordered a variety, including chicken korma, mixed kebab, chicken donner kebab, along with starters such as onion bhajis and a main dish of tandoori king prawns! Where do I start... this place of highly recommended and amazing for curry dishes and fast food! Nans are provided with kebabs and they are top rated! The lovely smell consistent within them as well as amazing hand made bread! I love it! It has been the best ever food place which I have been to as well THE TOP FOOD PLACE IN THE WIRRAL!!! Regarding the chutney of mango and onion and all of the others carefully displayed, they are highly amazing and recommended! Therefore, regarding to all the dishes I have noticed that fast food is usually kept in the food warmer, demonstrating that the workers are very considerate about the food being cold. Furthermore regarding the service, I would rate it to the top. My order has been arranged carefully and considerably, along with fast service and fast preparations yet careful! I believe that this place is the best on the Wirral and I would therefore recommend this place to everyone. My family has tried their food too with my order and kids have been kindly served with sweets. Therefore staff in this food place are highly honorable and friendly. My big order was also packed carefully in a box, meaning that it was arranged carefully and no spillage occurred. Also, I love how they are well secured and choose the right size of box regarding the quantity of one order. I personally love this place and will become a regular and this is highly recommended which I believe this place is the top food place in the Wirral contained with excellent service and reassurance. Kebabs pizzas and dishes are freshly made. Service is excellent.

We are living local and what a shame that we havent discovered this wonderfull place earlier! Currys there are amazing and portions are so good. So far we have had currys from Spicy Kitchen twice and both times they were one of the best we had ever tasted. Onion bhajis are great too! Cant wait to come back. Well done and Thank You

We have used this place a number of times in the past and have been happy. However a visit there last week disappointed when I returned home to the burnt naan as featured in the photo. I realise some mistakes can happen but am annoyed by the fact that somebody prepared this and saw it in this state and thought they would stick it in the bag anyway knowing it would not be checked at the time. Poor service in my opinion, which disappointed me as I really liked this place in the past. The naan was so cold and hard it was like a frisbee.

Have had a kebab from here recently and i must say that was one of the best i have ever had! Will be back for more treats soon :)

Best Indian on the Wirral. Really tasty food. Just wish they would deliver but definately worth the drive to pick itup. On weekends it's definately worth phoningin orders as there can be a wait as it is popular

Yo siempre uso este sitio cuando visite mi madre vieja. Servicio nunca alcanzará velocidades de mach, pero vale la pena la espera, ya que todo está preparado desde cero. Recomiendo especialmente el Dhansak y vegetal. bhaji Siempre amable y siempre una buena relación calidad-precio.

The most delicious curry and also my sons favourite kebab, served in a nann bread. The service is excellent and the staff couldn't be any nicer, a happy experience all round.

Love the food here!!! Cooked fresh and from fast food to indian everything is perfect and delicious the staff are friendly and very helpful they will cook anything the way you want it!! Went to order a take away last Saturday night.....first time I had used the outlet.Not very busy but no clear queuing procedure and no attempt to take orders quickly. A schoolboy was taking the payments.Left without ordering, very unimpressed.

I am always impressed when i come here, which is often. The staff are friendly and helpful and the food is always gorgeous, plentiful and good quality. Some people have moaned about the wait, but when food is cooked fresh they cant do it in 5 mins. I always pre-order or nip to Ellies while I wait, not a problem!I would recommend here to anyone

Nice food. Manager Karbul will arrange with the chef to cook the way you wish it to tast. Any problems with food will be delt with. Special meal for one good price enough for two. 10/10.

We've been regularly frequenting the Spicy Chicken since they opened some years taff back. The Staff are always friendly and extremely helpful and the Food is of a very high standard . Well recommended.

I live 10 minutes drive away and will only visit here for my indian. Order over phone and collect. Great selection of food and good service. If not a spice fan the Tikka Masala is sweet and smooth goes well with the rice etc. Should start delivering though.

I eat occasionally at the Spicy Kitchen for convenience only. There are lots better but this is just over the road for me. Its very hit and miss and seems to depend which chef they have there at the time. Yes the food is always hot, cooked and on time....but often bland and tasting different.If you are reading this Spicy Kitchen, try to be more consistent, there are others who are doing better for the same price but not driveable after a couple of beers....

Chicken is fresh as are all ingredients. This is evident in the great meals they serve. I'm a fussy curry eater and this by far is the best I've had on the Wirral so far. Would recommend a curry but avoid the pizza as they're very greasy. Staff are very friendly and enjoy pleasant chat.

We do not eat Indian food a lot but when we do it is always well cooked, hot and tasty.There is a varied menu at reasonable prices.

Absolutely brilliant food. It can take a while for it to be made, but I've just learned to call ahead and wait 15 minutes before driving round. I would say this is the best Indian Take Away on the Wirral! Marvellous selection. I would highly recommend to a my friends and family.
