We called in for a takeaway and waited one hour for it to be ready. I had asked for cutlery and something to eat it off as staying in a hotel nearby. They gave us 1 set of wooden cutlery. Most of the food was OK but I was totally put off the special rice as there was eggshell in it. We struggled to eat the food out of the foil trays, me with a fork, husband with a spoon. Not sure we would go back there, maybe sitting in is better.

Had an amazing Curry last night just the right heat and taste ! Well Done 😊

We ordered the food at 7pm and arrival was due by 8.15pm. I called twice to be fobbed off with apologies and being told it was on the way. It turned up at 9.45pm an hour and a half late. Food was cold making the chicken and lamb both dry. Food is normally good from here. If you are too busy to manage the orders you have then you should stop taking deliveries.

As usual this place is top notch. Can't fault anything Staff always go out of the way to accommodate you.

Atmosphere -Empty (Sunday evening). Food - on complaining we had a second Pathia brought with the improvement of a fully cooked naan like bread. Butter Chicken tasteless and huge square pieces. Partners curry also not sufficiently spiced with chunks of less than tender meat. Naan looked like a child's attempt at pastry rolling and cooked in butter. We won't return as we are from elsewhere in the UK, Apparently the locals love the restaurant's mild dishes and they cater to local tastes! We are used to spicy curries with selected tender meat pieces, and naans not cooked with butter, which are huge with pockets of air, not heavy, thick, and dry. The staff were rather incredulous to us not being happy with the food. It was rather awkward. Ate the meat, left the naans. They knocked £6 off the bill but it was £20 over what we normally pay. A free whisky and Bailey's shot were brought but we didn't really want them and we're not asked. Waited for our coats to be brought back for a while, which again was awkward. We had two staff members quiz us as to why we did not enjoy the food. Glad we have many fantastic places for Asian/Indian cuisine near home. Sorry Wirral!

Really lovely place to eat and and the food is excellent. The staff were so friendly and quick to serve us . My friends were so happy with the food - we got the Dan sal, rogen josh and tikka masala- and we were all full afterwards. Thank you 😊

Paid £10.50 for tandoor chicken, it was tandoor chicken but was very very small and dry. Was not happy as it was a birthday treat for my mum (70th) I will not be ordering from here again

Ordered the non-veg meal for one, it was superb. Full of flavour, good value and great portions. Best curry I've had in many years. Delivery was only 20 minutes from the time of order. It's a 10 out 10 from me, faultless.

Delivery was 45mins late and the food was cold on arrival, needed to reheat everything. Disappointed on this occasion, normally good.

It says here the food was delivered at 20:40. It was actually delivered at 22:05! The food was barely warm.

STOP microwaving food if you have no clue what you're doing! chicken arrived with the consistency of rubber. STOP it.

Food was subpar, tried citrus chicken as had it in restaurant and was lovely, getting it delivered is totally different, the sauce was very oily and red in colour but was orange/yellow in restaurant when had it previously. Tried prawn pakoras, nothing special in a weird red coating with tasted funny and again very oily. Special rice had way too much onion in and wasn’t pleasant as texture was crunchy and off putting, onion chutney went warm, poppadom was soft cuz of hot food, wouldn’t order agai

The delivery was late and some items missing, apologetic over the phone and replacement arrived quickly food was lovely as usual.

Food is lovely from Wirral tandoori however this is the forth time that it said it was delivered on just eat and we where waiting 25min after the wait time this is not a good service at all which is really disappointing as the food is lovely unfortunately due to this poor service I will not be ordering again from here as this is the forth time this has happened

rice over cooked, oinion bhaji completely burnt through and not edible. naan bread 2/10 not l8ke normal naan. more bread cake like.. the madras was ok 6/10. other two curries sickly sweet

Order took 1.5 hours. Food arrived warm not hot , the curry I usually get tasted very different this time. Food was average and unlikely to order from here again due to the time it took and the quality of food.

Food was cold when turned up after 45 mins after delivery time said it would be delivered.

Probably due to it being delivered late but the temperature wasn't great. Flavour was still really good though.

the food was overall nice, it told me it would arrive between-9:10 to 9:30, i then got a notification saying it would arrive at 9:15, i waited by the door from 8:50- 9:20 until i called them and they told me the driver was just leaving then, the order then arrived at 9:55, disappointed

1st time i ordered here was atrocious but after giving them a second chance and ordering the same meal this time it was HOT it was tasty and it was delivered on time! This is the kind of food and service we want Wirral Tandoori keep it up guys. Loved it!

We used to eat hear all of the time, but stopped becasue the food had gone down hill and the poor hygiene rating, tried the restaurant again for the first time in a long time today and was happy with the improvements, food was lovely, and served in a timely manner, with great service from the staff, the restaurant smells nice and is alot cleaner than previously, we can see the great effort the restaurant has made to make it better, and will be coming hear again.

I have raved about this place and got 1 takeaway a week since i first ordered from here a month ago, and i dont ever get takeaways. But the last 2 of have been off. The 2nd to last was just a few little things, but the last one was great. It was slightly warm, bordering in cold, and onion barji was horrendous, the patatoes werent great and the lamb bhuna only had a little bit of lamb in there. All in all, im done with takeaways, they dont deliver what they say and im dead easy to please

Placed the order at 6:30 food arrival time 8pm latest SUPPOSEDLY did not receive the food until 9:10pm rang a fair few times and was told it had left the shop when it clearly hadn’t. Won’t be ordering again.

Food was extremly late, arrived cold, when called the resturant i was told it was on its way and half an hour later nothing, when it did turn up it was cold and not edible. what a waste of alot of money and alot of time!!! first and last time here

cancelling orders well after its been taken is abysmal & I can't order from somewhere else as my money has been taken but not refunded! if you're not gonna bother taking orders then mark yourself as closed!

the dips are so watery... .I had to put them in my freezer for awhile......never used to be like that. .... not good

I dont do takeaways, but i have ordered the same thing from here 3 weeks running now! The value is insain, they do an offer on top of an offer as well and its the nicest indian i have ever had! Could not reccommend highly enough!

Food quality was excellent and tasted amazing once we reheated it, just a shame it took us over an hour and a half to receive our food which was at best lukewarm .

Tandoori mixed grill & Tandoori chicken both had lots of dark pink gravy whereas normal Indian Tandoori dishes are meant to be dry with no gravy, after grilling in a tandoori oven with tandoori spices. These preparations had red dye and no taste.

Great quality, good portion size, and free delivery. Highly recommend. A decent meal with extras is around £15 per person and it's high quality.

Gorgeous food, not a massive fan of Indian and never would be my go to takeaway but I really enjoyed this tonight. I had garlic chilli lamb, it was unreal!!! Chicken tikka was lovely too. I will 100% be ordering again. Everything was spot on! Thankyou :)

Ordered set meal for 2. It was freezing cold when it arrived. Lamb Bhuna was just fat and inedible. I used to dine in and always get takeaway from Wirral Tandoori but it has gone so down hill and last time I order

The food was cold when it arrived, we had to reheat it in the microwave, the oil from samosas had leaked into the bad making soggy poppadoms, the yoghurt cucumber sauce looked like rice pudding and had the consistency aswell.
