Don't waste your time, second time we have ordered and the food is always so late and the fact shes rude to you and lies on the phone that it's going to be 10 mins and it's always an hour later than that and then gives you a big life story, I don't care we just want the food! it's ashame because the food isnt that bad, as I said it's the second time this has happened so I wouldn't ordered again and I recommend you don't waste your time.

Duping people in the name of Indian cuisine.

Was almost an hour late, the onion bhaji were stodgy and seemed old as did the poppadoms. The Biryani was OK but overall was a disappointing experience.

Went to their food stall today and had a chicken/korma and kebab combo wrap. It was absolutely delicious and I definitely reccomend it. The guys running the stall were really lovely too and the prices were very reasonable.

Great customer service, amazing food, and now we order regularly. One of the few best takeaways in lancaster

Watching this offer grow from a stall on the Market to a great home delivery and outside catering service has been interesting, to say the least. Regular food in Town on a Saturday, catered for my Daughters 21st and now a stunning home delivered offer!! Great Biryani, Mixed Grill, breads and Lamb Chops…wow!!! Have eaten food by supper by sanah since high school from when Sanah started as a market stall. I still use Sanah as a takeaway and the food is absolutely delicious in flavour, great portion sizes. Customer service is second to none too.

The food Isn’t worth an award and but it isn’t that bad but the lady Sana oh my word, the rubbish she comes out with if false and unbelievable. Can’t trust her!

Ordered from Sanah while staying on holiday locally, the menu offered something a little different and delivery was efficient. The food was great, very authentic and you can tell that care was taken to cook some very flavoursome dishes.

I ordered the kebab and noodles and it was excellent, the chicken in the kebab was very good and the noodles were the best I've ever tasted. The food was ready exactly on time, also very helpful and pleasant customer service.

Fairly average meal, to be honest, not much flavour. Several vegetarian dishes and a couple of vegan ones, although a mistake in the order meant that one of the vegans didn’t actually get their dish. Sanah promised to refund me, but that was nearly 3 weeks ago and I’m still waiting…

Truly excellent meal. Ordered vegetable biryani, which came with lots of different veg, lamb jalfrezi (which was beautifully spiced) and the Shahi butter paneer masala. Mixed grill was still juicy but flavourful and tasted of the tandoor.

We love the Supper by Sannah stall at the Charter Market on a Wednesday and Friday when we are in Lancaster but this was the first time we ordered delivery, took a while to arrive and the curry portion wasn’t the largest but was definitely worth it. So delicious! The pilau rice and karai are our favourite.

Ordered for anniversary tonight. Husband isn't always keen on Indian food but likes a korma now and then. Was highly impressed with both meals, nice and hot when arrived great flavour not too spicy. Loved the spicy pickle with the poppadoms. Will definitely be ordering again. Thank you

Ordered several dishes from here. Biryani, Garlic chicken tikka from clay oven and lamb karachi. The Biryani was average, loaded with tons of industrial grade cooking oil. Compared to top Biryanis its very basic and was not very flavourful probably due to having no bone. Although it was cooked well with rice, lamb was tender. Lamb karahi was bland once again and lacked flavour ,was loaded with oil and overloaded with spice. Finally garlic chicken tikka was very tender and succulent but the spice on it was undercooked, felt like the chicken was steamed rather than roasted. Hopefully, my review will help indian cuisine experts. For locals and regulars, you will probably like it more than I did. Tried the new King Prawn kebab which is sold for £10.50. Had 9 pieces of prawn in it which were genuinely not that big. People can decide whether its worth the price, however for me it was overpriced.

We fancied a curry during a visit to Lancaster and chose Sanah based on reviews. Wow!! Honestly the best curry we have had in 10 years! Beautiful tender meat, fresh tasting, perfectly spiced, no oiliness, just glorious. I used to have Sanah's wraps for lunch every Saturday when I had a place in Lancaster, moved away years ago, and here she is STILL delighting my tastebuds, Thanks!!

First time I’ve ordered from here. Chicken tikka and pakora. Very impressed. And the garlic naan was oh so yum! Warning: the medium is very spicy! So if you’re not a spicy food fan then go for the mild lol ! Paid £17 including delivery but there’s some left for my lunch tomorrow so not bad! Also polite driver and arrived quickly. Will defo be ordering again!

Ordered at 3.45 pm for 6.30 pm. By 7.15 pm nothing arrived. Told it was on its way. By 7.45 pm nothing. Very unhappy. If they cannot cope with numbers ordering they should put a block on new orders. Will not be back.

First time we have used S by S and boy it won’t be our last, what’s nice about their menus is there is no endless lists to wade through but enough choice in each category, we had starters and mains each and all delicious and presented with care. Delivery was slightly early 👍. My lamb chop main was delicious and my wife had a chicken noodle dish which we found slightly unusual but it also was yummy, thank you S byS we will be ordering again.

Sanah ( to our delight) is doing an evening delivery service. We just tried Lamb Spinach Bhuna, Lamb Madras, nan bread, poppadoms and pilau rice. Let me say, the flavours were incredible.... I’d love to know the recipes! I expect they’re top secret..... We ordered on “Lancaster Eats”, and benefited from a 10 percent discount. The food was delivered by a very professional, charming young man, wearing a mask, and respecting social distancing. The food arrived before we expected, which was a bonus. Well done, Sanah and team. Just what you want when ordering food in- something special. The curries are excellent but the kebabs are equally tasty.

Delicious! I dont usually leave written reviews but i had too for this place. I have never been the greatest fan of indian food as i am not great with spice but after craving some comfort food and after reading the reviews online i chose to chance the korma and i am glad i did! I like how you can choose the level of spice, perfect for a weakling like me and its by far the best i have ever tasted. You also get a very decent amount of sauce which is nice and creamy, there is soo much too! Definitely worth the money. The rice and naan bread has always been on point too and they listen to your 'special instructions' and really cater for what you want. The delivery drivers have always been kind and friendly which are appreciated in times like these and their note of appreciation is endearing. LONG story short, definitely worth ordering from here if you want incredible food delivered with care.

I've enjoyed the food from Sanah's market stalls for many years, but there's nothing like having it delivered to your front door, piping hot. Really delicious, a treat that may soon become a regular for us. Thanks Sanah.

Food arrived quick but bizarrely stone cold, the sizzling noodles my girlfriend got were in her words "like a tesco microwave meal". My chicken bhuna was tasty but the chicken was quite tough, rice was awesome but cold when it arrived. If you order from here make sure you have a microwave handy. I won't be ordering again, plenty of other takeaways offering better value and deliver hot food

Best takeaway in Lancaster! All food arrived hot and delicious- Butter chicken was perfect and the Aloo Gobi is best I’ve tried anywhere. Definitely recommend.

Our first meal from Sanah (takeaway delivery) since we moved to Morecambe 12 months ago.We have never been big fans of takeways, but tonights meal was restaurant standard.Everything arrived on time, being well presented and cooked to perfection.We will certinly be ordering from Sanah again in the near future.

Just had our 1st supper by Sanah family of 4 all thought it was streets ahead of any Indian take away we have had before...the garlic and onion rice was delicious defo recommend that...the curry was so flavoursome all felt very fresh and clean with nice chicken breast being used..curry seemed quite oily to look at but wasnt that oily type that makes you feel sick...all in all very very nice..defo recommend

Tried Sanah for a cheeky takeaway for the first time this weekend. Selection of delicious starters, curries and breads. You can see Ben explaining just why his curry is so good below! A bit too much ghee would be the only family comment, otherwise top notch.

Just had our first delivery and we’re not disappointed. The food was absolutely lovely. Each dish was just great. Always struggled to find a great curry since moving to Lancaster but this was as good as anything we’ve ever had.

Excellent meal last night, thanks. Very tasty, good vale and great for vegetarians like us. We aren't allowed to dine in so this is a takeaway review. Added to the food, the use of foil containers rather than plastic was good too.

We went and had a 5 course set meal you can see all the food being prepared and cooked , service is brilliant the food is amazing . We can definitely recommend supper by Sanah .

We went in October 2020 for the Supper with Sanah private dining and the food was excellent and so tasty full of flavour. We were topped up with more food and naan breads, poppadum's as we went along. It is a set menu based on what is being cooked that day and so you get a bit of everything and the menus rotate each week but everything was delicious. Sanah is a great host and her family welcoming. We got some takeaway from her stall in Lancaster today which was just as tasty looking forward to when we can come and sit down and eat in again soon! Thanks Helen and Gary

I recently attended the early evening dining at this fine restaurant. At this time there were 3 dining sessions 530pm 730pm 930pm You can watch the chefs preparing the food in an open kitchen as you enjoy an appetiser.The food is wonderfully presented, beautifully cooked and served. If you love your South Asian food .. you will love this restaurant.Very friendly service .. We have known Sanah nearly 10 years having met her on her Lancaster Market Stall. We were thrilled to be a part of the opening night of her restaurant premises on the 16 October 2020 in Lancaster. The evening was a success in my opinion, with everyone joining in the fun of being served by Sanah and her son Zak. It is great to see the food being cooked in the kitchen by the skilled chefs and to say it was fresh is an understatement – all truly wonderful. Love Janice, Phil and ‘mum’.

There is very little I can say to improve on all the prior reviews from other delighted customers but I will give it a go! What I can write is that when my family first moved to Lancaster, I carried out a lot of research as we can all agree that finding your new Indian restaurant is vital! I was proved right with my decision as Sanah is much more than just about her food. She enjoys her cooking and takes great pride in both her achievements to date and her growing successful business. The food is great and there is nothing too much for her, as she will go out of her way to ensure you are a happy customer. Can't recommend enough and we are regular weekly customers to back that statement up.

Sanah has been delighting Lancaster marketplace for years with her fantastic food, and now that she's finally in her own restaurant, she's taken things to the next level. We were lucky enough to be able to make it for the second night, and we're so happy that we went. It was the best meal out we've had in a very long time, and the atmosphere was full of friendliness and support. Sanah was a wonderful hostess and her team went the extra mile to ensure that everything was perfect. You will not find a friendlier, kinder and more genuine experience than at Sanah's. My husband and I knew Sanah from her well-loved stall in the Lancaster Marketplace, which my husband had been visiting since his uni days. We were both thrilled to see Sanah open up a full restaurant in town, and were eager to check it out.Sanah booked us in for opening night, and we were both simply stunned by the experience. First of all, the space is simply beautiful, with an open kitchen so you can view your food being prepared, along with stylish silvery walls and white furniture. Sanah greeted us and directed us to our table, welcoming us with pappadums and a mango lassi aperitif. From that point, the service, presentation, and of course the FOOD were wonderful, combining into a magical night out. The best meal out, in fact, that we'd enjoyed in a long time.If you are in the area, please visit Supper by Sanah. You will not find a more delicious, or friendlier, restaurant in town.

The food is amazing and Sanah is a great host. My husband travels extensively with work and eats out all over the world and he gave this restaurant 10 out of 10. We took the kids and they loved it too especially the mango lassi and the desert. Atmosphere is good and you can see your food being prepared. Also feels very Covid safe. Definitely recommend as the best restaurant in Lancaster.

Nice and freshly cooked food with great taste. Much recommended. We visited Lancaster with friends and was looking for a family run Indian/Pakistani food and found this takeaway which was providing low price and high quality food.

Thrilled to discover this hidden gem on Chapel Street serving authentic Indian from an immaculate kitchen, to be reheated at home . What a change from the usual formulaic sauces we’ve become familiar with . If you live in or visit Lancaster you must pay a visit to this little gem of a stall in the town centre. Sanah makes awesome chicken wraps fresh in front of you. They also sell a selection of other Indian meals. I no longer live in Lancaster but call every time I visit.

Sanah’s location now moved to Lancaster town - hurrah! There is now a takeaway service on Friday night & you can text in your order & collection time. There is a little car park opposite and you can park just outside the shop to collect. FantasticFood is totally fantastic, you absolutely have to try - the samosas are probably the best in the world - pakora excellent, wow! Everything is unbelievably good. The new shop is 4aChapel Street, Lancaster. If you go to Sanah’s market stall or the shop, you will become acquainted with the best of all, Sanah and her lovely family - they are warm, friendly, funny, loving and caring - Sanah’s banter is terrific, she is a diamond!

I met Sanah for the first time today at her street stall helping a homeless guy with some food and buying him a coat to keep warm. So not only does she serve up an amazing chicken spiced wrap she also has a big heart.Highly recommend.....

Sanah is bright and cheerful and remembers your name. But the food is even better than that, and the price is half the price of any food like this that you have eaten, in England. Never quite seen such good quality/price ratio anywhere.

I was in Lancaster on Saturday 14th and as always stopped for a wrap and some food to take away. The wrap was made fresh and tasted great. Samosas, onion bhajis and a vegetable jafrezi came home with us. All had great flavour. Sanah and family are always friendly and happy to see us. Already looking forward to my next trip Northwards!

This is a deceitful woman with a big mouth. You can bite me once but not twice. Like another reviewer stated....when I asked for a chicken curry she did not serve it from the hot plate in front of you but grabbed a pre-served container from below the counter. Immediately alarm bells rang in my "being conned detector". Unfortunately I allowed the rip-off to continue. What I took home was a load of rice with another container which, like another reviewer stated....held very little curry....in a watery flavourless soup.

We went to two sit down restaurants and waited with no service then walked out by Sanah. She actually wanted to serve with both great food and friendly service. Highly recommend. (Mr. & Mrs. America)

I asked for a chickpea curry hoping for a fresh one which was bubbling away in front of me. However, I was given a pre packed one from under the counter. Very dry and no sauce whatsoever. Disappointing for £7 .

Used to go there every week as it a nice treat, even though it wasn't really cheap. However, I've probably had my last meal from there after today. Bought a chicken curry amongst other things and had to play 'spot the chicken'. Prices are very very expensive and the portions have got less of the most expensive ingredients. Used to be brill food at an acceptable price, but not anymore. I think Sanay is putting her profit before her customers!

Sanah has always been a legend in Lancaster Market since we moved here 14 years ago. Over the years thinking about a t special birthday we always thought Sanah would be our number 1 choice for catering. So last weekend we had a 60th birthday a vt our house and entertained over 50 people with Sanah's delicious cooking. Everyone loved it. It was superb. Her team were efficient friendly and the food fantastic and plentiful. She wouldn't let us do anything insisting we relax and enjoy our party. Gorgeous food served beautifully and efficiently. Not one complaint just an abundance of compliments. Thank you Sanah for a fabulous birthday meal.

Often go to Sanah’s for a fantastic spicy wrap, however if you go to big cities such as Manchester,Leeds, Bradford, Glasgow etc or cities with an Indian community you will actually a get a tasty full on spicy chicken wrap, 2 samosas, chicken pakoras and onion bahji’s for the same price as one of Sanah’s wraps!!!!

Really good homemade food, I can’t recommend this place enough. I usually get a grilled wrap and the flavours and sauces and crunch is so tasty, plus there’s a huge variety of things like samosas and curries and it’s all home made

We’ve been stopping by at Sanah’s stall in the market regularly ever since moving to Lancaster to study 5 years ago. Every time we come the food is consistently delicious, and we are welcomed back warmly. I think everyone who visits has their own particular favourite dishes, but we’d always recommend the biryanis and vegetable samosas to someone who hasn’t been before!!

Having relocated to Lancaster, I was able to enjoy the quality food and exemplary service offered. The sheer taste of the food resulting in me becoming a regular customer. A wide range of food is offered to suit all tastes.

Great little find in Lancaster! Highly recommend the mixed wrap with yoghurt dressing! They’re soon opening a shop so keep your eyes peeled for this!

Sanah stall is the best I have ever experienced. If you haven't gone to Lancaster, this is a good reason to visit it. It is not only the food, which is delicious, delicate and special, but it is about Sanah herself. A fantastic person always smiling, engaging with every person.
