The staff is so welcoming and friendly. Alan (the owner) is great. The food is really nice. Would suggest eating in as the food is best served fresh. However, sometimes portions can be a bit small. Nonetheless, highly recommended.

Surprisingly we got very delicious Indian food. This resto have Bangladeshi Indian background, thats why its different. We love it & its recommended. So Yummy..

We’ve just tried their chicken kurma and pasanda—absolute disappointed. The food was ok (too sweet for my taste, but that’s personal preference). The problem is the waiter overcharged us for each main dish. When we asked to check the price, another main waiter prepping drinks at the bar came and told us there was no mistake (claiming I was looking at the takeaway menu!). Then we asked to see the physical dine-in menu; upon discovering the bill was more than it should be, the man then changed his claim saying the price was different because ‘they didn’t change the menu yet’ and ‘the notice board is everywhere indicating that lamb dishes are £2 more than written on the menu’—we didn’t find such notice but didn’t want further confrontation so just paid and left. It’s just extremely unpleasant to be blatantly and unashamedly lied to. Honestly won’t ever return and will not recommend the place. To whoever that’s visited or visiting, I hope they don’t play the dirty tricks on you like they did to us.

We went Christmas Day and were amazed to see how busy it was but a great place for something different to the norm. They offered a traditional English lunch, but we opted for the Indian meal, which was lovely. Priced well which made it all the more enjoyable. Friendly staff, efficient service and a lovely atmosphere. Would definitely consider again next year. Thanks to the team at Balti Hot!

We went to Baltic Hot based on the advice of the barman at The Frog because they had stopped serving food. What a mistake ….. The food was edible, but for an Indian meal it was very disappointing. No flavour, no heat. The saag paneer cake out black! What did they do to turn green spinach black? We definitely won’t be going back.

Not convinced really, service is always a bit grumpy and prices are creeping up all the time, food is okay though

Sat in with a party of 5 friends, we all ordered the dish we wanted, I was served with a dish that I didn't order and didn't want. The very rude waiter insisted that it was what I ordered. It was not even close to what I wanted. I had to ask another waiter to change it. Then the two of them argued in front of all the customers. When the right dish came it was nice but I had it when my friends were just finishing theirs. Don't think I will visit again.

three of us for dinner, two meals were ok, but one was as dry as could be, a chicken breast with a bhune mine sauce, but the sauce was just almost plain mince on the dried out chicken breast. Nargis kebab starters were just plan poor, dried up and hard, unlikely we will be back

Delicious food here, served superbly too. Extensive menu, spoilt for choice! We each chose different items so we could share & we were given a range of sauces with the poppadoms. Loved it. Will be going again asap.

Ordered a takeaway for 4 people, and we were delighted with both the quality and quantity of food. We had chicken karahi, tikka masala, chilli tikka masala and saag paneer and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. The peshwari naans with honey were the best I've ever tasted. Added to our order was a complimentary bottle of wine as we paid cash. This was also a decent pinot grigio. Definitely will aim to eat in restaurant next time we're in area. Highly recommend their food and friendly service.

We had a wonderful takeaway today . Very hot weather and didn’t want to cook. The tandoori chicken masala was perfect and very tasty and the nan bread was perfect. The onion banjo was the best I’ve ever tasted. Well done in challenging conditions. The delivery was sooner than expected and the price was very competitive. I’m so lucky to have this in my little village.

Really enjoyed the Tandoori Prawns and Mixed Grill . They suggested a Bhuna sauce on the side which was a great idea. Whilst I was there they too k a family to see the clay ovens in the kitchen . Can’t say better than that ! Very impressed .

Having just moved into the area we were keen to try the local Indian. We decided on takeaway in the first instance . Menu was very good although they didn't appear to have my favourite, chicken madras? Food was delivered in good time and the price was reasonable considering delivery. Really pleased with the quality of the food. It was hot and full of flavour. Number one destination for Indian takeaway in Bidford area.

One of our favourite restaurants to go to even though we have several in our home town of Evesham so we have to drive but well worth it. Owners and staff are excellent and always have time for a chat. Also great food and decent prices. Look out for the wine offer on website.

I cannot speak highly enough of this place. I have been coming at least once a week for over 5 years now and have never been disappointed. My wife and I are big foodies and have high standards - The food is absolutely top notch and this, along with the service and welcome you get from Alan and his team brings us back time and time again. The only other place I will go for a curry is when I go back to London for a visit, which is where we lived for 16 years before coming back to this area. This is an absolute gem of a restaurant and whenever any friends of family visit, a trip to Balti Hot is always a top of the list!

We had a meal with friends here whilst on holiday in the Cotswolds. The food was absolutely delicious, the portion sizes just right, the service was friendly but not intrusive. It was also very good value for money. We have had meals in restaurants before where all the food basically tasted the same. Not so at the Balti Hot, all very different flavours and a very authentic feel to the dishes. I can particularly recommend the Tawa, (I had chicken). It was a sizzling delight! Can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant and we would certainly come again when we are back in the area.

Warm welcome and a very good waiting Staff. Enjoyed the curry which was very well priced and the whole experience, but would prefer less oil being used.

I had a takeaway tonight for the first time in ages from Balt Hot. There was no taste to the food, it tasted watered down. Nothing like a Korma or passanda. It used to be a good restaurant I really don’t know what has happened...

Made a reservation on their website for 1930 on a weds night and were turned away as they were busy with take-away orders. I said we had a reservation so they begrudgingly said they would honour it but we'd have a long wait for food. Walked out as this was all a bit of a joke. Just ordered dinner at The Frog pub opposite instead.

The food was piping hot when we collected it. The portion sizes were very good and the curry’s tasted great. The only slight negative was one of the curries had a lot of oil sat on top when opened which we drained off before eating....

Used Balti Hot for years, best Indian take out / dine in for miles. Alan's always welcoming and pleasant, and goes the extra mile. Would highly recommend.

Booked online for an early evening slot to find a modern well presented restaurant. The staff were all polite and helpful and the food was amazing. We had starters of onoin bhaji and tandoori fish, followed by our "go to" mains of chicken tikka masala...

Picked up takeaway here and was dismayed to see the person serving at the counter had mask under nose and he encouraged me to pay cash when we are advised to use contactless. People were sitting at cramped table waiting for takeaways with no masks...

Very nice curry. Reasonably priced and very good service. Couldn't fault it really. Chicken chat to start and chicken tikka biriyani main, freshest poppadoms I can ever remember eating. I'd certainly visit again.

Once again we visited Balti Hot for our Christmas lunch. For Alan and his team, nothing is too much trouble. We had a mix of Bangladeshi and British traditional (at our request) and all was superb. See you next year!

We had dinner at this lovely clean restaurant. The staff were great , attentive,nothing was to much trouble for them and the food was tasty and very well presented and plenty of it . Well worth a visit .

Your standard selection of Curry dishes made to a good standard. Tikka Masala was slightly too sweet and with too much almond for my taste but other dishes I've sampled have been great. Friendly service with a decent dine in experience. Takeaway is also available.

Hadn’t used Balti Hut for a couple of years but had a take away tonight, absolutely delicious. Food was hot and ready when they said it would be, staff were friendly and the place looks immaculate. Couldn’t fault it. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely meal, you get a free bottle of wine if you prefer book, but signs in restaurant say cash only for free wine. Not sure why, people on the next table did pay by card, but unsure if they then had to pay for the wine! It's a bit confusing!

We cook all of our food from fresh it takes along time. OOPS - refired Chicken Balti [original with zero spice] served to the table 1.5 mins after complaining? Excuse TWO - 1 hr 20 min wait for mains and poor customer service. When we have large groups - 6 or more (5 in ours) we always encourage the ALAN’S menu so the chefs know what to cook and can cater for the larger groups. Comment I'm in the country a field full of cows :-). HOME OF THE BALTI- Excuse THREE - Bland chicken Balti I would request hot (Madras) Not Vindaloo or Phaal, received a "korma" We cater for a lot of Londoners, so tend to use their expectations, London Vindaloo =Midlands medium. Comment, I'm in the country again... Balti Hut, should know their own product, Hot and spicy should be delivered as such. All Kitchens prep in advance of service, lots of indian restaurents buy in pre prepared bases, and add the finishing touch... This experience was just extremely bad management, cooking and service.

Alan continues to deliver quality Indian food with well chilled beers and wines . Good atmosphere in the restaurant and you are never rushed out of the door unlike some curry houses. Excellent meal.

Staff were rude, didn't want us in there. Just my wife and I, mid-evening on a Saturday night. Hardly anyone in there and the service was terrible, they ignored my wife completely and could barely speak to me. Although the food was actually pretty good, the atmosphere was so bad we didn't finish it and left. We live fairly local, and will not eat in again. As the food was pretty good I would probably recommend it as a Take Away only.
