Nice food free popadom last night. 10 percent off for collection orders.

It gets very full, and noisy, on a Saturday night. We waited a long time for the main course but we were a group of 10 and there were two other groups of 10 as well as being packed. Quality of the food made up for the wait and the hubbub.

Excellent food and atmosphere. The staff were great the service a little slow but they were very busy

Haven’t been here for about 4 years but happy to say food is still amazing!! It’s fresh, always piping hot and such great flavours. There’s a great menu with huge choice and varieties but they’ll also cater to your taste if you want a slight variation. Service is so good here, friendly and professional and staff take the time to ask how your day has been and have a quick chat to you which is a lovely personal touch. Will definitely go back to being a regular here as one of the best!

The food is very good and we travel in order to use this Indian takeaway. Most of the food is delicious. The one annoying thing is that even though we always say SOFT amb- they seem to use tikka lamb in jalfrezii etc. tikka lamb is so always so chewy and dry in our minds so we would never choose this option. Shame because everything else about the meals are good.

Wow, what can I say. The food here is just amazing and that with great service and wonderful atmosphere made a perfect evening. Sorry no pictures as the food was gone all to quick!

Good Indian Restaurant- always busy but never lets me down, in or out.

We are staying at a nearby hotel and decided to venture out. The staff were very welcoming and polite. The food was absolutely lovely, especially the butter chicken. A wonderful birthday meal.

We met my sister in law and husband here. It was well worth the hours drive for us to get there. The food was really good and the portion size was generous. I took home half my main course and it was enough for a meal the next day. Lovely atmosphere and reasonable prices. Lots of car parking. Lovely , friendly staff.

We had takeaway as the restaurant gets very busy and a little noisy. The food, as usual, was excellent quality and plenty of it. UPDATE Today, we dined in, as usual the food was superb, however, the staff were over attentive which spoilt the atmosphere a little and although the restaurant wasn't full, it was still noisy, mainly due to the other customers who felt they had to shout. After all that in the update, I would still highly recommend either the dine in or take out options.

We've just celebrated an anniversary there. I had a Boro Chingri which the spice did not overpower the sauce flavour. It was the nicest king prawn I had so far. It's a great place to visit.

Excellent Food Again out with 10 others,Great night out,I have taken 1 star off for service due to the fact when they collect the empty plates etc,they just lean across you,find that quite rude,nearly knocked my drink out of my hand no apologies,just did it again,I find it happens every time we go there,they are freindly so I would still recommend it,but wish they would stop leaning over people.

I go there regularly, getting both takeaways and eating in and have only had excellent experiences. The food is excellent and I have recommended to many friends who have all also given great reviews

Food was ok, nothing out of the ordinary very tasty, service was very good, very fast food preparation as soon as drinks had been ordered the poppadoms were delivered to the table, then the starters as soon as poppadoms had been eaten. Would call again if in the area

So good! Food was really great, the staff helped us choose some great dishes that were outside of our ‘norm’. My fiancé hasn’t had too many Indian’s and the team really helped her choose what was best for her and she absolutely loved it. Couldn’t praise the staff highly enough - they were really great, looked after us, were very attentive & good fun too. And at the end of the night (after a couple of aperitifs!) even gave us a short ride back to our hotel. Thank you so much for a wonderful evening, you guys really made it! :-)

I used to come here alot when I lived in the area and the quality is just fantastic, the standards have kept so high even after all these years so coming today and it still being the best Indian we've ever had made the 40 minute drive so worth it.

Went here on Sunday night. Our waiter was really nice and friendly was able to have some banter as he had a connection to the city I’m from. Food was excellent, staff we knowledgeable just a really nice place. Would definitely recommend and I will be returning

It was YUMMY better than most restaurants and easily took the spot as my number 1 Indian restaurants. Good desi style food, all you have to do is ask the waiter. Staff were amazing and the atmosphere was great aswell.

My cousin lives in the village where this restaurant is situated and invited us for a meal, so we travelled all the way from Northampton tonight to meet him another friends from meal. we were met with a warm and welcoming reception from the staff shown to our table straight away. Very impressed with the menu and absolutely blown away with the fish curry, I ordered 10 out of 10 what a wonderful meal and experience. Keep up the good work guys will definitely be back again.

Food was fab, the best Korma I've tasted in a long while. Ferrero Dessert was ok but not as nice as it looked in the picture. It was a fake Ferrero too! Prices and portions good! Nice ladies toilets. Lovely staff. Bonus that it has it's own carpark!

Been coming here for years, I travel from Coventry and wouldn't dream of going to another Indian Restaurant. Seriously the nicest food you can eat in the Midlands and the staff are wonderful friendly people. You must try the Rikki Super Naan!

Only there for 10 mins, picking up a takeaway, but I'd go back to attend the restaurant. Food was great. Atmosphere was not to loud but a fun vibe. Staff made absolutely sure we had a good experience - definitely tempting us to return

Excellent place, we took a wheelchair user and it was very easy to park and access the restaurant. The food was delicious, the lamb and king prawn were both really good and the staff were very attentive. Highly recommended. Booking is advised as it was busy on a Tuesday evening. The car park also had plenty of space.

Mostly a great experience. Food was delicious with a wide menu, staff great and very attentive. We waited 30 mins to get the bill! Bit annoying after a great meal as our food had been packed up so we were ready to go. The restaurant is also very loud, could benefit from some soft furnishings/curtains to absorb the sound a bit.

Good place to eat. Service excellent and the food delicious. It was a early setting and lot of children it made good atmosphere.

Went here for the first time this evening to celebrate a birthday. The food was amazing and the staff are so welcoming, friendly and the service is 5 star! We also took my nan who has never eaten Indian food and she was so impressed! Well done think we will now be regulars ! X

Called in tonight (Tuesday) on the off chance and had the best curry we believe we have ever had , the food was very fresh and really tasty , portions were just right with really good sized soft Nan, could honestly not fault the food or service. The staff were pleasant and seemed to have a good friendly relationship amongst themselves and customers alike . It was very noticeable that many of the customers were regular returning customers . It’s no surprise that so many people now travel to wellesbourne as the food destination of choice with the added benefit of the kings head ( a great clean , warm and comfortable pub/hotel) virtually next door !! If you want a top quality curry look at wellesbourne where there is great quality and choice!!

Lovely staff and beautiful food

This was our first time getting a takeaway from here and I can honestly say it was the best curry I have had for years. The Lamb Deshi Chilli was so tasty and perfectly hot and the lamb melted in my mouth. Even the onion bhaji which tends to go chewy when you get take away was lovely and moist. I'm even happier I moved to Wellesbourne now! Service was top notch too. We didn't eat in but the atmosphere when I picked it up was great too, really busy and lively. Thanks Shah's.

lovely surroundings fantastic food

Stopped off the main road as we hadn't eaten since we left Tywardreath at 9.45. Was busy but were able to seat us. Excellent food, great portions. Absolutely what we needed. Thoroughly recommend.

Where do I start ? FANTASTIC !!! The staff are really friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is clean and up to date. The food is out of this world ! Also a lot of choice if you are vegetarian. Was staying at a nearby hotel the weekend and decided to venture out to this restaurant based on reading previous reviews. The staff were very welcoming, attentive and polite. The food was absolutely lovely, especially the sharing fish starter. The mains were great, chicken dhansak was perfect and the naan breads were cooked just right. A wonderful meal.

My wife and I were staying at a local hotel and Shah's had been recommended to us by several guests, so we took a ride out on the Sunday evening. Well, wow, what a welcome! Iki welcomed us at the door and showed us to our table, very kindly pulled out the chair for my wife (what a gentleman), was friendly, polite and good humoured. The restaurant was immaculate, the decor very classy and the whole ambiance calming and relaxed. We had been warned that the portion sizes were very generous, and this was certainly the case, the starters (anywhere else) could have been the main course. The food was superb, it could not be faulted. The service was fantastic, our every request was dealt with professionally, promptly and without fuss. There were 2 Sa'eid's, staff, who were fantastic! Sa'eid D (I think) was incredibly funny, but polite with it, he had the banter, and his people skills were amazing! Also, Sa'eed A, was equally professional, so helpful and a total joy. In fact, the whole team were well-drilled and professional, a pleasure to be amongst and made our evening unforgettable. Fair warning though, the keema naan was MASSIVE! I love them but could not finish mine. Also, two new dishes, the keema one and the lamb shank, were so, so tasty. Their chef knows his food. We will be back. Okay, so for us it would be a 1 1/2-hour drive, but worth every mile to get there. Thank you, guys, you are all amazing. Booger And Trish from Denham in Bucks.

Excellent food and very good hospitality

Had food here a few times now - beautiful food. Sometimes though, the food can be a little bland. Interior is nice and the service is friendly, but sometimes a little slow. It is quite often busy which I can expect to be slower, however this has even happened when we've gone at quiet times. Would recommend as food is worth it alone.

I tend to judge any new Indian restaurant I visit by their Chicken Dansakh, so that's what I had at Shah's. I'd give it 9/10, which is an exceptionally high score for me. The pilau rice and Peshwari naan were excellent, too. All served in good time. Hence the 5 star score!

Love this place, it's spacious modern design and decor really adds a class and elegance to the dining experience. well organized well presented friendly staff accompanied with a great menu with loads of options including vegetarian and kid friendly choices with a pleasant variety of acholic drinks too. Prices are reasonable quality of the food is great overall I will be returning and enjoyed my evening.

This place was recommended to us by the hotel we stayed at. It was superb ! The place is clean fresh and modern. There is ample parking. The staff are inviting and friendly but it was the Food that we were most impressed with, every dish was delicious! It was also very good value for money. Indian cuisine is a favourite of ours but this one stood out for us. would highly recommend it.

Well , what to say . Its just brilliant. Great food ,great prices and fantastic service in lovely clean and well presented surroundings.

Ordered takeaway tonight from shahs there no confirmation of food being ready I just randomly turned up and food was luckily done. Took it home and found the mixed grill to be cooked well. My partners not so much as she found her saag aloo very bland and the accompanying rice had raw onion in it and her garlic nann bread contained raw garlic. Overall a disappointing experience as we had heard excellent things about shah's and had been looking forward to it. Lack of care seasoning and cooking unfortunately

Excellent food and service for a table of 16 people

When they decided to serve our 5 veg and non veg starters as a single platter, we should have got up and left. The mango lassi jug was 60% ice cubes. I have never tasted food so unauthentic and uncooked in my life. The lamb rogan josh tasted like boiled lamb covered in a can of raw chopped tomato, they even had the audacity to claim this is how every Indian restaurant serves it. As someone who has had this dish all over the world, I can assure you I have never had uncooked chopped tomato out of a can as the sauce for Rogan Josh. The tadka daal, had no tadka. Every dish was so sweet it tasted as if sugar syrup was added as the key ingredient. This might even explain the over priced food given the government's sugar tax. After eating here you would truly believe that brexit had left shelves empty of any Indian spices. I would urge the residents of this area to try some authentic Indian food, you will never eat here again. The coriander and chili naan was actually ok. I guess that deserves 1 star. Surprise surprise, woke up with the runs ..
