No72 in Stratford-on-Avon

My wife and I went for a meal absolutely loved it cooked just how you like it and fresh. Would highly recommend this restaurant. The staff are also very nice make you very welcome especially Kam👍🏻

Haven't been able to have curry for a number of years but we decided to give No72 a try. Had such a fab meal we went back for a second in a week. Would really recomend this lovely restaurant. The staff were attentive on both occasions. Will return soonest.

Great staff, owner went out of his way to help, Informative too. Additionally it was one of the nicest Indian meals I've had (and I'm a well travelled human)

We went for curry here with the family on a Friday night. There was only us and 1 other table which is a bit worrying for Friday evening!The food itself was ok, but general consensus was that it was a bit bland. May of been down to our choices. Luminous sauces are weird. Service was very good and super helpful. Not so sure about the hygiene. There was a 6" layer of grime all around the bottoms of the walls and the loos were pretty yucky.

lovely food, lovely, friendly staff & owner. did everything we needed. can not fault anything of our visit & meal was tremendous. we went with our friends mart, julie, ben, donna, emma, ja etc. they advised us how nice it was.

PLEASE do not be put off by the outside appearance of the building. It is what is inside that counts - both decor wise & the food, and they are both spot on. Kam & his small team treat you like friends. Warm, welcoming & smiley. I have been here a few times now & always feel looked after. Premises are spotless. Cutlery spotless, tablecloths crisp white like new.The menu is quite comprehensive with lots of choice - old favourites & new dishes. ALL FOOD IS COOKED FRESH TO ORDER. No Chef mike. (Microwave). For me & many others, I am more than willing to wait for fresh, piping hot food, served on warmed plates - just order a beer & relax! We went on a Friday & booked the night before. By 8:30, there were probably only 3 tables left for diners. Thank you to cam & his small team.Stumps.

Really good quality food and some interesting and unusual things on the menu. Set in a very old former pub. Staff friendly and very efficient . Recommended

1 of our party was vegan and the host was brilliant in making as many dishes available as possible, explaining which shared dishes she could have and was really accommodating to us. He explained there would be a slightly longer wait as they wanted to ensure no cross-contamination in the cooking. When the food came, every meal was excellent. Definitely top 2 curry house of all time for me.

My son asked if we could go to Kams for a curry - of course!We had poppadums and chutneys but no starters.My husband had a Kam special with extra chilli (not on the menu). I had a chicken tikka jalfrezi and we shared a garlic coriander naan and rice. My son always has a chicken curry, plain rice and a garlic/ cheese naan bread.Unfortunately, at the moment they are not serving Kingfisher larger only, Cobra!Service was good and friendly as always!

To find an Indian restaurant in a small town like Bidford is not a surprise but to find one of this quality is. A real fine dining experience from a fabulous and extensive menu.

We ate here tonight for the first time after being recommended. Kam was a wonderful host and Jay a delight. The menu was extensive with excellent descriptions. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. We would highly recommend this restaurant. We shall definitely return and it is highly likely we will become regulars!

The best Indian meal I have ever had, the staff where so good and helpful highly recommended next time i am down here I will be going back.

I will admit that I was mistaken. I had read the excellent reviews of no.72 & wanted to try it. I admit I drove passed the building & the outside does not do it any favours - I thought to myself / no chance! However..

Went on Sunday 28th April.food was suoerb and so were the staff. Took my daughter and son in law. Will be returning soon. Atmosohere is fab.

We went here last night with friends and had a Fabulous meal, we tried new things we would never have tried and the staff are so attentive they can’t do enough for you, and kam is just amazing as always we have never had a bad meal and it is by far my favourite Indian around bidford and Stratford.

Wonderful place .great value for money and staff really nice . Was offered free beer while waiting for my takeaway as I little slow as a member of staff of sick . Would recommend to all Thanks Mark

First time takeaway from No.72 and totally spot on for choice and flavours. Most palates can be accommodated at this (almost hidden) fabulous Indian Restaurant. Great dining atmosphere and always appears busy. Will definitely use for our regular take-outs in future

This was chosen for our weekly curry club, and was pleasantly surprised by the quality.

Brilliant menu, traditional curries plus a well thought out section that gives a new take on traditional Indian curries to tempt those willing to go beyond what they would expect to find. Blending both India and the English palate, this style of cooking challenges the anglicised Balti, taking the best of Indian food to a new level.

With a group of friends we had ordered from the takeaway menu. The food was ready at the time given for collecting and service was friendly. My tandoori chicken in garlic sauce curry was good but not exceptional. My wife who is something of a curry expert rated her chicken naga curry as average but no more than that. I had a peshwari naan which was light on filling but heavy on the bread side. My wife had a garlic and coriander naan. Plenty of coriander but little garlic and chewy in consistency. With poppadoms and a few other extras it came to £25 per couple so medium price.

We visited with our son and nephew.

Was in the area doing business and came across this little gem of a restaurant. The service matched the food which was outstanding! Top marks guys. I would not hestiate to recommend this restuartant.

Have visited this restaurant on several occasions & thought it about time I write a review. The restaurant is tastefully decorated & in keeping with the village. The food is presented beautifully & tastes as great as it looks. The owner & staff always go above & beyond to make your evening worth the visit.

Came here unexpectedly when we were stuck on the river Avon. Service was fabulous . Food was gorgeous , can’t fault any aspect.

in 2016 we went to Nr 72 in Bedford on Avon for the first time. It was absolutely very tasteful and had a great atmosphere. Now in 2018 we were back in Bidford on Avon and again we have visited Kam and his crew for again some very tasty real Indian food. Must say. Nothing has changed. its still amazing tasteful, Kam and his crew are still amazing friendly and nothing you ask is too much for them ( I don't like spicy food, my wife does). In one week we went 3 times! That says a lot. tried different menu's and again it all was absolutely very good. A lot of restaurant can learn from this relative young team of professionals. I am sure they will have a bright future.

We ate on a Wednesday and we were not expecting to see Kam working, as it is normally his day off. It is nice to find out that they have plans to redecorate to restaurant.

Have eaten in and had take away. Huge menu with great variety and superbly cooked and presented. Very good value . Alwways a genuine warm welcome - definitely eat there again 11

Really enjoyed both starter and main course.

We went with our friends for the first time to No72. The service was excellent and Kam was a great host for the evening. The main dishes were good, although the breads[Nam, Paratha etc] could have been better. The building has been tastefully decorated and overall very good and would go back again.

We were staying in the area and decided on no 72 based on the reviews on tripadvisor. We were very glad we did. Unbelievably, it was empty when we arrived but we given a very warm welcome. The waiter is a lovely guy who chatted with us for a while. Although we didn't order a huge amount there was no pressure to order anything else like you get it many restaurants. The starter was a new experience for us both. I think it was called roast aloo masala and it was lovely. The main courses were excellent too with light and well cooked rice and a stuffed paratha. The restaurant was modern and spotless too. If we didn't live 2 hour's drive away, we'd go every week.

We received a warm welcome from the staff however the restaurant is not the warmest in winter. There are a couple of tables where you can take advantage of the heat from the ceiling a/c unit.

We normally have a take away but decided to eat in, we greatly enjoy the take away but the dine in experience is excellent. Very friendly staff, freshly cooked and very tasty food, decent drinks menu and well priced. Can’t fault anything.

We visited wiith family that were over form Australia. My husband and myself had our usual. Our family from Aus really enjoyed their curries - they thought the restaurant, service and food were GREAT. They would love to return next time they are in England.

This is one of my favourite places to have a curry either eat in or take away. The menu is excellent, large portions, very well cooked and tasty. The staff are excellent, very helpful and the service is very quick. Highly recommend, you need to book especially at the weekends. Looking forward to my next meal.

Food and service cannot be faulted however they only take cash. There has been a notice on the door for 12 months apologising that they are waiting for a card machine. Surely it doesn't take that long and why do they insist on cash payment only!!!

Visited here last Wednesday with the girls, and we had a delightful meal, the service was excellent and the food always takes a while, but is cooked fresh and is always hot in temperature when it comes. Have also had takeaways from here and they have been great. Well worth a visit. Parking around the corner.

Poppadoms where stale and had to wait along time for them to come to the table and then had to wait 45 minutes for the starter to arrive and when it did it was so disappointing as it was tasteless me and my husband order Balti curry one with lamb and one with chicken for some reason the sources were completely different not one of them a balti would not recommend to anyone a big shame as it was recommended

Recently visited with friends for a catch up. The service was very attentive and friendly. The food was exquisite! By far the nicest in the area. I would definitely recommend and will be returning soon.

I had a delicious fish starter, wow! it was beautiful, my wife wished that she had the same. For main I had Chicken Biran, which was also nice, the portion size was a bit big for me, but nice all the same. Staff were very friendly and good at serving (it took a little while to get the bill, but nothing extreme). They didn't accept card payment at the time so had to visit the shop across the road. Free parking is literally a minutes walk. Would eat here again if I ever was over Warwick way.

Couldn't wait for No72 to open for the first time.When it did we were not disappointed.When you arrive for a take away or a table you are always welcomed by staff & especially Kam.We have had loads of takeaways through the year and every single one was amazing.Every meal gets better everytime.We have sat in a few times always good service & helpful staff.And Kam always greets you by your name I don't know how he remembers customers names.If you haven't tried it yet it's a must.Its the best around for miles.We always recommend it to friends & family.The only thing they need to do now is to have a delivery service.Keep it up Kam.

Visited No 72 for an early evening meal with my husband. The menu is excellent with lots of choice, not overly expensive, staff very friendly and helpful.The meals didn't take long to arrive, very tasty, heat hot and plenty on the plate. Couldn't fault anything meal wise, only thing I could say the restaurant was a little cold for me.

Kam and his staff are so friendly and helpful, just tell the staff what you like to eat and they can concoct a meal just for you if not on the menu. It's a perfect place to go for an Indian meal.

We had not booked a table but we were seated straight away. Kingfisher is on draft - fab. I like the choice of dips/ sauces to go with the poppadoms. A great tasting curry and nann bread - keep serving tasty food!

All of our meals were truly delicious and my Mum will return to eat in with us next time (to experiment with something other than Korma!) Will definitely be back soon.

No. 72 is one of the best Indian Restaurants in the area. The menu is innovative with plenty of different items to keep your interest into coming back to try them out.

First time that we have eaten Indian food. The staff helped us what to choose because we never had real Indian food. My wife had the hot version as i rather have more mild food. Not a clue what we had, it was with chicken but the flavours were amazing.really good and all fresh which you always notice. We can't go back anymore because were only one week in the UK, but if we could we would. Thank you for your help and friendly approach. If your in the neighbourhood and want try something else give them a visit as we did.

My first visit to No72 won't be my last. The service was exceptional and the freshly prepared food was delicious. So good to see a restaurant pushing the boundaries a bit with both the menu and the levels of preparation, presentation and service. Well done guys - I will be back soon.

Food is absolutely delicious, fresh and prepared from scratch! The staff are amazing, so friendly and always happy to help. We come to No 72 every fortnight and it just keeps getting better and better! Food is orgasmic!

We booked this restaurant after good reviews on trip advisor. The restaurant was very busy inside and also doing takeaways. The service was very good and so was the food. Very good menu will definitely be going back to try other options on the menu.

We came across this restaurant while searching for somewhere else and we are so glad we did! Lovely food, helpful and friendly staff and lots of lovely little touches. There were some unusual dishes on the menu and we shall return to try more of them. A great evening.

Kam has come to class us as regulars now and we very rarely visit our old 'favorite Indians' in the area. This was another great meal served with a friendly smile.
