Good food at a good price. Poppadom and pickles were a lovely start to our meal. Curries and rice were tasty too. Take your own alcohol and plan your parking as that is limited.

Had a family meal booked for early evening . Nice restaurant . Staff very pleasant made us feel welcome . Food was excellent and service throughout the meal excellent too . Can definitely recommend this place .

Been to Spice Rack a couple of times on a Thursday when we have a family evening. It's been absolutely lovely food and enjoyed by all. Mohammed is a brilliant waiter, so friendly and polite.

Always guaranteed a tasty fully loaded dish, didn't disappoint. So cozy and pretty inside with smiley staff who can't do enough to accommodate and advise on the food. Can't wait to go back. Very reasonably priced and taking your own alcohol keeps the price down. Love it. We will be back sooner rather than later.

Had a great night. They accommodated over 25 of us. Served us very well. It's one of those restaurants where you can bring your own alcoholic drinks so you save money too. Decent priced overall.

Lovely food. Service was very slow however we were a table of 20 and there were two other large table bookings including a children's party. Good car park. Clean facilities well stocked. No alcohol served but you could take your own. I had the onion Bharji and lamb methi, both delicious.

The tarka dal was with a horrible layer of oil. It was more like a greasy soup than a flavoursome lentil dal

Flavour was excellent but the Chicken Danshak had no chicken. There was plenty of pineapple but the chicken had clearly been forgotten.

I have been coming here for years! Always a great service and happy staff. The food is always tasty.

Tasted good, but chicken was a bit tough. Also the naan was a little on the small side when compared with other restaurants. It arrived early but was very greasy inside the bag, which made it difficult to serve without getting the grease/oil everywhere.

Fantastic! Recently moved to the area and after trying a few different Indian takeaways, Spice Rack has definitely won! Really flavourful curry’s and not swimming in grease! Well spiced samosas and bhajis too. Our go-to Indian takeaway now. Thanks again

The Spice Rack is a little Indian restaurant in the Handsworth area of Sheffield. The restaurant isn't licensed for alcoholic drinks, but diners who attend always bring their own, which is not an issue. The food is of excellent quality and is well presented and always hot. The restaurant menu is well balanced with plenty of choice and there's chef specials which never disappoint. The staff are polite and friendly and always attentive. The restaurant is clean and tidy, and the tables' cutlery glasses and plates are kept in good order 👌.. The only thing that let's the restaurant down is the building's dated outside appearance, but please don't let this put you off eating here it's my local go-to when it comes to eating Indian food and that's the only reason why I wouldn't give it a 5 out of 5 in the review. The restaurant also provides a takeaway menu and a delivery service. Lovely food, and fantastic staff give it a try 👍

Slowly getting worse from here. King prawn main course with only 3 prawns in it and a chicken and king prawn dish with 1 prawn. Sauce was ridiculously oily. Will be giving it a miss for a while after a few average curries of late and this one was poor. Shame really.

Gutted. Ordered King Prawn Korma and got 3 tiny slivers of crab stick type meat. Used to have best kormas around. Really disappointing.

Curry lovely but didn’t get my onion bhaji

We use this restaurant for home delivery, but visited for a birthday celebration. The food is excellent and the hospitality even more so.

We've only ordered a take away so can't comment on atmosphere but the food is wonderful. Always arrives on time. The bhaji are fantastic. Everything tastes amazing. I always reccomend them to everyone. I am hoping to one day experience the restaurant as it looks lovely from the outside and if the food is anything to go on, I'm definitely visiting them soon.

We placed an order waited 1 hour, a meal was missing, we called, there reply was it’s not our fault we have sold out , no alternative was given ! Not acceptable after spending over £70 ! Waited another 20 mins for an alternative to be delivered! Ruined the evening!

Shocking again, missing items, sauce leaked allover bag, person on phone said I’d be waiting a while for the missing items, demanded they re cook my entire order as the food would go cold by the time it arrived, then to top it off they then sent a different driver who thought it was acceptable for me to go all the way out to his car in the heavy rain while he sat in car and waited, so I purposely left return food inside on purpose so he had to come and get it.

Prawns lovely. Vindaloo was a pile of bland sauce. Appreciate it's not a premium curry but had hardly and flavour.

Another beautiful naga curry and garlic rice even bought an extra naga i love it that much i lived local but moved 20mins from the area i only order from spice rack no other place matches the taste credit to the chef and staff working there friendly bunch 11/10 score :)

Husband ordered a takeaway for valentine's night..the food was absolutely vile..never again Chicken tikka masala had the taste of vinegar and looked like heinz soup

We used this place a lot. Placed an order as the restaurant opened for a delivery (1 hour 10 minute in advance). The delivery was 50 minutes late and cold.

Great delivery and food was hot how ever the curry was really pale and just tasted of cream no korma flavour and chips over done which was a shame

Lovely food with fast delivery

I have never usually had problems ordering from here but unfortunately this time it was not as good as usual. The special balti was meant to be chicken and prawns and there was no prawns at all in the curry. This was also supposed to be spicy but no spice at all. The chips looked like they had been cooked and then reheated.

Onion bhajis were a little chewy with not much flavour . The chicken in the mains was very dry but the sauces were very tasty .very fresh salad and light and crispy poppodoms . Pilau rice was nice and fragrant with good colours .
