Just amazing! Bilash never, ever, fails. We have been ordering from here many years and it never disappoint us. Beautiful flavors, aromes and leaves you wanting more and more! All curries are made with fresh vegetables (not frozen) and all the sauces are just incredible. The service on the phone and at the door is always polite and friendly. 10 STARS! Wonderful place for a curry. I had a biryani, chicken tikka starter and a naan. Was quick to pick up and tasted amazing. Definitely a place to go for some good food.

This an old favourite of ours that went downhill for a while but we have recently given it a second chance and it has paid off in spades. I like lamb curries and the lamb on both our recent visits has been tender a the curry delicious. My wife likes mild veg biriani and they have managed to make hers mild enough

I had a wonderful takeout the last Sunday in January 2023. The following Sunday ..the first in February the same order couldn't have been different. The bhaji's were stale , the main and nan tasteless and my mango chutney was missing. Lost a potential regular customer

I love the Bilash. I have been eating here for a lot of my adult life, from before they did delivery and you had to collect. I make sure I have cash so I can order from them. You have to spend loads more to eat as well anywhere else. Tried keema aloo today. Very good. Tandoori chicken masalla is joyous too. Egg rice worth a try. Honest you should try it.

I have bought many an Indian take-away and I can, hand on heart, say that, for me, this place sells by far the best. It arrives piping-hot and is absolutely delicious.

The best Indian takeaway in Sheffield, and generally better than the food I have had in most Sheffield Indian restaurants as well. Tender meat and sauces full of flavour - nothing like some of the other pretenders serving food that is either OTT heat with no flavour, or dishes that all taste the same. The classic onion bhaji - so often served from other establishments as a flat spongy disc, clearly pre-bought, probably frozen and defrosted and don't really have any onion in them. The Bilash bhaji's are the size of a cricket ball, fresh chopped strips of onion perfectly flavoured. A testament to the quality of their food.

I can’t believe this place has any negative reviews. Have been ordering from Bilash regularly for over the last year or two that we’ve lived in the area. Always delicious, accommodate to when we want to collect and even do custom requests! Can’t ask for better from your local Tandori. Will always order again!

This is the first time that I have bought food from this take-away. The delivery time was reasonable. The driver was friendly. The food was hot and delicious AND more generous in portion-size than any other Indian take-away restaurant I have used. I will definitely return!

I have tried to be as factual as possible whilst managing my significant disappointment. Ordered 4 main dishes. 3/4 used essentially the same sauce. The sauces were all very watery with significant quantities of separated oil on top. The lamb in one i can but assume was the precooked red tikka'd variety that can be added at any point to a base sauce rather than a piece of meat cooked in the sauce - as such it was rather tough and devoid of flavour. The vegetable dishes were quite unpleasant at best - soggy overcooked veg with no particular fresh flavour. If I'm honest, I feel quite unwell for the small amount I did eat. As you can guess I was not impressed and will not be ordering again... On a positive note, the gentleman who served me was very polite and the food was ready on time.

What a disappointment! After looking forward to an Indian meal treat. I have never had a such a bad meal. The sauce (if you can call it sauce) was just like water. The chicken like rubber, and it was bright red. This was my first visit and definitely my last and I certainly won’t be recommending it to my friends

We have been using the Bilash Tandoori House for many years - our Saturday night treat. Never had a bad meal .Always first class ,often have curry nights for friends and family who always love the food supplied. Highly recommended - you will not be disappointed.

Sadly very disappointed. Ordered a Tarka Dhal which was more like soup and didn’t taste of anything, along with a peshwari naan which also had absolutely no flavour. Was hardly any coconut and 0 currents. Even slightly uncooked. Very surprised as Indian food is renown for its flavours and spices! Annoyingly we like to support our local Indian but unfortunately won’t be going again.

Portions seems to be a little less than before, but still a great taste. Wouldn't stop me from visiting again!

Having tried to order a takeaway from a different restaurant using a delivery app which refused to recognise my address, I happily found Bilash, where I could ring up, speak to a person and ensure it was going to be delivered. Technological advancement? I’m happy with analog in this case!! My order was quickly delivered. The prices were extremely good value indeed, amazing really. My wife’s onion bhajis were voted superb (ooh matron!) as was the king prawn bhaji puri. This latter dish had a fabulous taste unlike any other I’ve had before. It’s a rare occasion when I choose a biryani - for no particular reason, I just fancy other dishes more. Tonight was to be different though, I chose the Bilash Special Biryani and I’m still patting myself on my back. The stand out part was the vegetable curry which is usually quite average tasting, but in this case was outstanding, just the right amount of heat with maximum flavour. We were visiting Sheffield on a home exchange and didn’t discover Bilash until we were just about to leave, which is a shame as I’d have gone back like a shot.

Ordered 3 curries, 1 veg, 1 lamb, 1 chicken. All were terrible. The veg was soft and watery, the lamb tough and the chicken non descript. All The sauces were the same. Really awful experience. Thanks for your reply Bilash - in which you tell me I ordered different things to that I actually ordered - I'm afraid you're wrong, I did not order the dishes you suggest, that must be another customers food.

Grown up eating bilash so maybe I'm biased, but great food st great prices, what more could you ask for.Ps. Not been in a while (sorry) but please don't put the naans in just a paper bag, they end up more like poppadoms by the time you get to eat them. When they get served in foil so much better.

I ordered a tandoori mixed grill which was chicken and lamb, whilst eating it I got a mouth full of meat that tasted strongly of fish and then found prawn shells in the food. An absolutely disgusting experience. I will never order from here again.

Pedimos esta noche y nos dijeron que una hora, llamamos después de una hora y 15 para que nos dijera que el conductor se puso en camino hace 25 minutos. Me aconsejó que estaba preocupado porque la comida estaría fría y la respuesta fue 'está nevando, ¿qué quieres que haga al respecto'? Bueno, me gustaría comunicarme por uno y me gustaría que alguien con empatía y atención básica al cliente para dos. No volveré a usar Es una pena, pero no hay razón para hablarle a un cliente de esa manera. Vivimos cerca de algunos buenos lugares para comer también, así que no hay pérdida para nosotros, pero transmitiremos la noticia a amigos y familiares para que no la usen nuevamente. Got hooked on this place, after Saturday nights on Eccleshall Road, wish I could find a restaurant which can equal their Chicken Chat and Chicken Egg Masala, can't comment on the rest of the menu yet still enjoying the above.

Great service and fast delivery most of the time. They do a great madras and bhuna which are the only 2 curries i tend to have and they seem to be the best in the area and ive lived here for over ten years

Visited today for the first time based on the reviews on here but have to say either the reviews are biased or I picked a bad night as went in to order and was barely greeted by man at the desk. Ordered 2 chicken biriyani and sat and waited we expected lots of lovely smell and aromas from the kitchen with all the clattering of pans in there but to no avail. Our order came out 15 minutes later and off home we went to enjoy this fantastic food everyone raves about..........disappointly not to be so!!! The chicken was dry and seemed to have been microwaved not pan fried(must have turned off the ping on microwave lol) and the lack of flavour was shocking easily the most blandest biriyani I've ever eaten and I've had a fair few as my most favourite curry. Sadly won't be visiting again poor service and poor food

El pollo estaba tan seco que tenía 2 bebidas para ayudarlo a bajar no había sabores de ningún tipo. Definitivamente allí con uno de los peores que he tenido. No volveré a frecuentar este establecimiento, tengo miedo.

Me gustó que mis recuerdos de la Bilash eran correctas. El fue mi comida para llevar local Bilash cuando vivía en Sharrowvale Road, que usamos para obtener comida allí al menos una vez a la semana. En una reciente visita a Sheffield hicimos un viaje de recuerdos y nuestro habitual korma; pedimos bhuna, un peluche paratha pan naan. La comida era estupenda en un buen precio. Muy contentos de que aún era de comercio y que la calidad era buena.

Tenía un grupo para llevar desde aquí el 30 de abril. Tuve verde de hierbas de cordero, que me quedé muy satisfecho con ambos en calidad y precio. Otros estaban contentos con la calidad, pero una orden de parte de arroz y faltaban el costo estaba en desacuerdo con los precios de la lista. La comida estaba cocinada rápidamente por una orden de recogida 8 personas. si viviera cerca iría de nuevo en la experiencia de esta visita.

Hablaba con personal bilash Orderer quien dijo que sólo 9 comidas fueron ordenados (2 personas estaban teniendo exactamente la misma comida y fue uno de los que faltaba. Ordered a Bilash after a friend's recommendation. I'm usually skeptical when it comes to trying something new, however this meal did not disappoint.I thought I'd be adventurous and try something other than my usual madras dish. The Chicken Tikka Shobuz was the perfect blend of ingredients to tickle the tastebuds. The samosas were nice and crispy as well as the Naan which was done to perfection. I always struggle to choose between a vegetable dish or a meat dish because the vegetarian menu is so extensive and so good. The only downside is that naan breads are wrapped in paper bags and cold by the time I collect them.
