Tandoori king prawn… £18.90 for 4 prawns is a bit steep imo - tho it does come with a whole naan bread to dip into fresh air

Pedimos una comida para llevar como recomendó un amigo, fue de aproximadamente £ 25 más que nuestra comida para llevar habitual, pedimos el entrante de gambas y nos sorprendió recibir 2 gambas diminutas por £ 9. 50 , llamé para preguntar si esto era correcto y me dijeron “las gambas son caras” no pedirá desde aquí de nuevo, pero estoy seguro de sentarse en el restaurante es una mejor experiencia

Rajdhani – A Culinary Disaster If I could give Rajdhani zero stars, I would. This was, without a doubt, one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. The chicken curry was nothing short of revolting. The chicken had a sweaty, unpleasant stench, as if it had been through an intense workout before being thrown into the pot. The texture was just as off-putting—rubbery, tough, and utterly inedible. As for the sauce, it was an abomination. The bizarre mix of spicy seasoning and Henderson’s Relish clashed horribly, creating a concoction that tasted like a failed science experiment rather than a carefully crafted dish. It was neither rich nor flavorful—just a confused, chaotic mess. The service was painfully slow, adding insult to injury. Despite the restaurant being far from full, the wait felt endless, and when the food finally arrived, I almost wished it hadn’t. The lack of effort and care in both the preparation and presentation was glaringly obvious. Simply put, Rajdhani is a disgrace. The food was disgusting, the service was sluggish, and the entire experience was a complete waste of time and money. If you value your taste buds (and your stomach), stay far, far away.

I wouldn’t feed this to my worst enemy. Rajdhani served up the most disgusting excuse for a curry I’ve ever had. The chicken was like jelly—slimy, flavorless, and clearly of the lowest quality. It tasted like it had been boiled in tap water and dumped into a bland, soulless sauce. No spice, no seasoning, just a watery disaster that made me feel sick. How a place like this stays open is beyond me. If you have any respect for your taste buds (or your stomach), AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Popped in (this evening) having just got off the train later than planned. Quick and friendly service. Tasty chicken balti with a bit of a kick (which I like) pilau rice and chapati as you would expect.

Popped in on a whim, after picking my son up from Dore train station. Really lovely food and great service. Very quiet but it was a rainy Monday evening. The peshwari naan bread was so soft and tasty and the food was absolutely lovely. Will be back

Note sure what’s happened but won’t be ordering again, this is the 6th time I’ve ordered from here and the first 4 times it was lovely, the 5th time it wasn’t so nice but thought I’d give it another try this week incase it was just an off day. Very disappointed the tikka sauce wasn’t nice at all had hardly any flavor to it and the onion bhaji’s wasn’t cooked in the middle so wasn’t even able to eat them. Definitely won’t be ordering again

El personal era increíblemente amable y acogedor, como siempre. He sido un cliente fiel durante años, y es maravilloso ver el aparcamiento abierto de nuevo, lo que hace que las visitas sean aún más convenientes. So delicious and mouth watering food.

Having been a regular here for just over a year, really liked the food. So decided to order a takeaway. This was an hour and 30 mins. OK it’s a Saturday night, but the food arrived cold. Anyway thought I’d talk to the owner next time I was in the restaurant. His answer to waiting a hour 30 mins snd receiving cold food was “So.” He agreed to free delivery and replacement of food. Rang tonight, the phone was put down on me twice.🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ While explaining what had been agreed on Monday. ( No communication) Attitude rude

I ordered king prawn balti. I'm usually wary of having prawns in a curry as they can be rubbery. These prawns were huge and cooked to perfection. The sauce with fresh mango was amazing. The place was really clean and friendly staff. Will definately be visiting here again.

This is one of our most favourite curry houses to visit in Sheffield. It is set in the old Dore and Totley station house, and has a lovely cosy and welcoming feeling the moment you enter. The atmosphere is great, especially when the trains roll past from the station outside. The staff are so hospitable and friendly, and the food, well, take my word for it, spectacular doesn't even come close. I generally go for the lamb dishes and each piece of lamb is so tender, not fatty one bit and just melts in your mouth. Each dish is cooked to perfection which is why we have been visiting this restaurant for years and look forward to returning every time.

Food was ok, nothing stand out but the service was poor, and waiters were a little surly- asked to book a taxi for us and were told they couldn’t as they were shut- luckily one helpful member of staff then appeared and ordered one for us, but wouldn’t go again .

I always have a great meal at Rajdhani, this place does the best prawn saag I've ever had and offers a distinct twist on your traditional Indian menu. The staff are engaging and the service is prompt, I would envisage that booking would be necessary at peak times (Fridays and Saturdays).

Absolutely delicious food and a lovely atmosphere with fantastic service. So pleased that the station car park finally open for them, as we had waited a long time for it. There’s a good buzz about this place. Thank you so much 🙏🏼

Went here for my son's birthday. We've been before and it is his favourite restaurant. Food was lovely. I had a Lamb Biryani which was delicious. Waiters are very friendly and helpful. It's based in an old station building which has lots of character. Really good meal, really good place.

Ordered a takeaway, one ok but seriously avoid the £15.90 ‘Tandoori Heaven, mixed grill’ this is literally one prawn, couple bits of lamb / one (chipotle) sausage / chicken thigh, bread and small bag of lettuce - better to order separately and actually from somewhere else. Phoned and asked what we’d got and told you did get bread - hmmm £3 plain naan and bit of meat for £13 more

First time we've been since the new owners took over and really enjoyed it. Food and service was really good and I'd recommend a visit and try the special dishes, really tasty.

My daughter has visited the restaurant before and raved about it so when visiting I was keen to try it. I wasn’t disappointed. A stylish and modern restaurant set within the old railway building. The welcome and service received was great. The food was delicious and loads of it so much so we brought home some for later! The food was hot and flavoursome - huge portions, great menu choices. The staff were so welcoming and friendly but not overbearing. Prices were reasonable. Would definitely recommend a visit and I look forward to visiting again.

Staying with family tonight, so decided to have a local Indian takeaway, it arrived 30 mins later than I had requested and only after I rang the restaurant. There was no onion salad with the chutney tray, the lime pickle tasted very smoky, not a nice texture, different to anything we’ve had before and the pilau rice tasted metallic, so we didn’t eat it, but both main courses were delicious. Would we try it again, definitely not

This Indian restaurant has constantly serves good tasty food, I have eaten in the restaurant and had takeaway,the restaurant is a quirky railway station with friendly staff. Order early for takeaway as it’s very busy at the weekends.Good food and good value.

A fantastic place, great location, food is delicious, parking is perfect even when the station is being renovated you can just park accross the road! Giving comfortable but attentive service, I couldn’t recommend enough! Onwards and upwards, thank you!

Great choice of Indian food in wonderful old station building. It was the busiest I’ve seen it but the staff handled service perfectly. Shame about the carpark due to the railway improvements by a fantastic meal had by all.

Food is decent but it took them over an hour and half to deliver it 5 minutes down the road. If you want it just go pick it up, lesson learned. And they will just tell you it's 5 minutes away if you ring them and ask.

Third time eating from here, food is delicious- lots of flavour and spice without being overly hot.

Great curries, a wide range of flavours and combinations. Service is excellent. If there is too much for you, they will do you a carry-out. We occasionally get a take-away from here instead of eating in. Just as nice.

Excellent menu - great staff - regular customers going back - i've had three large parties in there (25 was the largest - 10 the smallest) well worth it.

Went in, early Saturday evening, and it was empty; it soon filled up even though there was a rail strike. The food was great as usual. The poppadoms and pickle tray were awesome. We all loved our mains. The food tastes fresh, and just that better quality than others. This is my favourite curry house in Sheffield as not only is the food and service good, but it is a very comfortable environment for dining in.

We have tried many Indian restaurants in Sheffield and find Rajdhani to consistently be the best for food quality and ambience. We sometimes get delivery through their app and equally find this to be excellent.

As always, faultless. I have been eating at this restaurant for many, many years and have never been disappointed. The staff are attentive and their welcome is warm and friendly. The food is delicious and servings are generous - particularly the pickle tray. I can say that I have yet to have a pickle tray at any Indian restaurant that can compete with the one at Rajdhani. As the restaurant occupies the old station building at Dore, the surroundings are particularly interesting which adds to the pleasant, calm atmosphere inside. The restaurant is accessible and there is usually no problem parking almost at the door but parking is slightly restricted at the moment due to work by British Rail.

Went for my husband’s Birthday. Such a lovely meal , we booked at 5:30pm which was perfect. My mum was with us who has dementia so the timings great . They brought mums food out first because she takes her time . 😊 The food was so tasty fresh excellent service thank you so much 😊

We chose the restaurant randomly as a convenient venue to meet up with old friends. We all got a warm welcome and plenty of time to peruse the extensive menu. We started with poppadoms and pickle tray…..the best pickle tray ever! Then a selection of main dishes all of which were delicious. Loved our meal and we will definitely be back!

It was our first visit to this restaurant. We were immediately blown away by the lovely waiter who showed us to our table. From the appetisers to the end of our meal, we were treated with such professionalism and kindness. The meal itself was so , so delicious, piping hot and so flavoursome. Always excellent food, great size portions. Pickle tray is the best selection I have ever seen! Try the lamb dishes, they use legs of lamb and the meat is so tender. They also deliver but doesn’t beat eating in! Definitely recommend.
