I ordered king prawn balti. I'm usually wary of having prawns in a curry as they can be rubbery. These prawns were huge and cooked to perfection. The sauce with fresh mango was amazing. The place was really clean and friendly staff. Will definately be visiting here again.

Very nice service and delicious food!

This is one of our most favourite curry houses to visit in Sheffield. It is set in the old Dore and Totley station house, and has a lovely cosy and welcoming feeling the moment you enter. The atmosphere is great, especially when the trains roll past from the station outside. The staff are so hospitable and friendly, and the food, well, take my word for it, spectacular doesn't even come close. I generally go for the lamb dishes and each piece of lamb is so tender, not fatty one bit and just melts in your mouth. Each dish is cooked to perfection which is why we have been visiting this restaurant for years and look forward to returning every time.

Been working at the station for months and finally gave in to the delicious smell and went in. food was lovely and reasonably priced. very nice

Food was ok, nothing stand out but the service was poor, and waiters were a little surly- asked to book a taxi for us and were told they couldn’t as they were shut- luckily one helpful member of staff then appeared and ordered one for us, but wouldn’t go again .

I always have a great meal at Rajdhani, this place does the best prawn saag I've ever had and offers a distinct twist on your traditional Indian menu. The staff are engaging and the service is prompt, I would envisage that booking would be necessary at peak times (Fridays and Saturdays).

Absolutely delicious food and a lovely atmosphere with fantastic service. So pleased that the station car park finally open for them, as we had waited a long time for it. There’s a good buzz about this place. Thank you so much 🙏🏼

Went here for my son's birthday. We've been before and it is his favourite restaurant. Food was lovely. I had a Lamb Biryani which was delicious. Waiters are very friendly and helpful. It's based in an old station building which has lots of character. Really good meal, really good place.

Ordered a takeaway, one ok but seriously avoid the £15.90 ‘Tandoori Heaven, mixed grill’ this is literally one prawn, couple bits of lamb / one (chipotle) sausage / chicken thigh, bread and small bag of lettuce - better to order separately and actually from somewhere else. Phoned and asked what we’d got and told you did get bread - hmmm £3 plain naan and bit of meat for £13 more

First time we've been since the new owners took over and really enjoyed it. Food and service was really good and I'd recommend a visit and try the special dishes, really tasty.

My daughter has visited the restaurant before and raved about it so when visiting I was keen to try it. I wasn’t disappointed. A stylish and modern restaurant set within the old railway building. The welcome and service received was great. The food was delicious and loads of it so much so we brought home some for later! The food was hot and flavoursome - huge portions, great menu choices. The staff were so welcoming and friendly but not overbearing. Prices were reasonable. Would definitely recommend a visit and I look forward to visiting again.

Staying with family tonight, so decided to have a local Indian takeaway, it arrived 30 mins later than I had requested and only after I rang the restaurant. There was no onion salad with the chutney tray, the lime pickle tasted very smoky, not a nice texture, different to anything we’ve had before and the pilau rice tasted metallic, so we didn’t eat it, but both main courses were delicious. Would we try it again, definitely not

This Indian restaurant has constantly serves good tasty food, I have eaten in the restaurant and had takeaway,the restaurant is a quirky railway station with friendly staff. Order early for takeaway as it’s very busy at the weekends.Good food and good value.

A fantastic place, great location, food is delicious, parking is perfect even when the station is being renovated you can just park accross the road! Giving comfortable but attentive service, I couldn’t recommend enough! Onwards and upwards, thank you!

Great choice of Indian food in wonderful old station building. It was the busiest I’ve seen it but the staff handled service perfectly. Shame about the carpark due to the railway improvements by a fantastic meal had by all.

Food is decent but it took them over an hour and half to deliver it 5 minutes down the road. If you want it just go pick it up, lesson learned. And they will just tell you it's 5 minutes away if you ring them and ask.

Third time eating from here, food is delicious- lots of flavour and spice without being overly hot.

Great curries, a wide range of flavours and combinations. Service is excellent. If there is too much for you, they will do you a carry-out. We occasionally get a take-away from here instead of eating in. Just as nice.

Excellent menu - great staff - regular customers going back - i've had three large parties in there (25 was the largest - 10 the smallest) well worth it.

Went in, early Saturday evening, and it was empty; it soon filled up even though there was a rail strike. The food was great as usual. The poppadoms and pickle tray were awesome. We all loved our mains. The food tastes fresh, and just that better quality than others. This is my favourite curry house in Sheffield as not only is the food and service good, but it is a very comfortable environment for dining in.

We have tried many Indian restaurants in Sheffield and find Rajdhani to consistently be the best for food quality and ambience. We sometimes get delivery through their app and equally find this to be excellent.

As always, faultless. I have been eating at this restaurant for many, many years and have never been disappointed. The staff are attentive and their welcome is warm and friendly. The food is delicious and servings are generous - particularly the pickle tray. I can say that I have yet to have a pickle tray at any Indian restaurant that can compete with the one at Rajdhani. As the restaurant occupies the old station building at Dore, the surroundings are particularly interesting which adds to the pleasant, calm atmosphere inside. The restaurant is accessible and there is usually no problem parking almost at the door but parking is slightly restricted at the moment due to work by British Rail.

Went for my husband’s Birthday. Such a lovely meal , we booked at 5:30pm which was perfect. My mum was with us who has dementia so the timings great . They brought mums food out first because she takes her time . 😊 The food was so tasty fresh excellent service thank you so much 😊

We chose the restaurant randomly as a convenient venue to meet up with old friends. We all got a warm welcome and plenty of time to peruse the extensive menu. We started with poppadoms and pickle tray…..the best pickle tray ever! Then a selection of main dishes all of which were delicious. Loved our meal and we will definitely be back!

It was our first visit to this restaurant. We were immediately blown away by the lovely waiter who showed us to our table. From the appetisers to the end of our meal, we were treated with such professionalism and kindness. The meal itself was so , so delicious, piping hot and so flavoursome. Always excellent food, great size portions. Pickle tray is the best selection I have ever seen! Try the lamb dishes, they use legs of lamb and the meat is so tender. They also deliver but doesn’t beat eating in! Definitely recommend.

Thoroughly enjoyed the meal on Wednesday evening last. Superb Monk fish for my wife and King Prawns for myself. Accompaniments were perfect. All in all a very enjoyable evening. Hope to be back before the end of August.

Admito que estoy un poco nerviosa y me pregunto cómo me dejaría sintiendo la experiencia.No necesitaba preocuparme. Había marcas claras en el piso, cada mesa había sido separada con pantallas, el personal tomó detalles de las partes que ingresaban. Todo el personal llevaba máscaras faciales y al servir bebidas o comida tenían guantes. Llevaron la comida y las bebidas a la mesa en bandejas y dejaron la bandeja en la mesa para que nos retiramos. En ningún momento me sentí comprometido y definitivamente volvería a visitar.Se ha modificado el menú y se ha reducido el número de platos que se ofrecen, pero todavía hay muchas opciones. Elegimos compartir entrantes y poppadoms seguidos de Chicken Madras y arroz. Nuevamente compartimos un Nann sencillo y mi compañero comió Lamb Bhuna con arroz. I went with some friends and had a really nice meal ..The food was excelent and the portions generous ...I could have definitely managed with one or two less poppdoms..My friends Tandoori Chicken filled the plate..The decor was great and we had proper napkins ..it was served by attentive and friendly staff...not the cheapest but certainly good

I went to Rajdhani with my wife and 2 other friends for my birthday. Before going to the restaurant, we checked the closing time of the restaurant online and it specified 11:00 pm. Just to be on the safe side, we still called to let them know we were coming at 09:30 pm. The person we spoke to sounded completely uninterested to have our custom, as it was a WEEKDAY and wanted us to come ASAP, even if the restaurant shut at 11:00 pm. As i heard a lot of good reviews about the place, we still ended up going there around the specified time and the person hoovering the carpet, blamed us for not coming early, as it was a MONDAY and it was PRETTY DEAD on the night. however a minute later, with sarcastic grin on his face, he said that he will

Reservamos una mesa aquí, ya que estábamos en el tren de Manchester y nos bajamos en Dore, una idea genial ya que tuvimos una excelente comida, maravillosas especias indias y un gran vino. Sin duda volveremos a llamar aquí, pero se recomienda reservar, ya que se llena.

Teníamos la intención de probar el Rajdhani Express por un tiempo y no nos decepcionó nuestra comida en el restaurante, la comida no estaba demasiado condimentada y llena de sabor y no nos apuraron en cada plato como en el caso de los restaurantes en el centro de la ciudad. Definitivamente regresaremos para más comidas en el futuro

Llamamos a la posibilidad de poder obtenerlo y nos hicieron sentir bienvenidos y sentados en los mejores asientos de la casa casi de inmediato. La bandeja de salmuera fue una de las mejores que hemos visto y probado. Los platos principales - nuestras papilas gustativas todavía están hormigueando. La carne y el pescado en las comidas principales fue cocinado a la perfección. El pan y el arroz naan eran diferentes a todo lo que habíamos probado antes, ¡hermoso! El vino francés también era excelente. Por último, pero no menos importante, los anfitriones, todos ellos son un crédito para el restaurante.
