Lovely little Indian Cafe in Sandown. Friendly, attentive Staff. Very good selection of Currys and Sides. No Alcohol but, you can bring your own! They do home delivery too. I would recommend for a no frills but, tasty, well priced Indian meal.

Just had the best Takeaway in Sandown Pasanda and Madras both perfectly spiced and delicious. Definitely can recommend and will be using Mumbi bites again

Lovely intimate restaurant we were lucky to get a table booking so I would advise to book to avoid disappointment, the service was great and we were greeted by very welcoming staff, nothing was too much. The food was amazing and cooked to our preferences (some in the group can't handle spice) and the staff recommended dishes to accommodate this which was very helpful, have been back again in the same week for takeaway this time and the food was just as delicious as dine in, keep up the great work x

Early evening. Bank Holiday Monday. Called in to see if they had a table free. They did. And what a result. Food was stunning, well cooked, well presented, well spiced, served hot and as described on the menu. Couldn’t fault it. Couple of tablecloths wouldn’t go amiss to counter that “basic” feel. No alcoholic beverage menu offered but it didn’t matter. The food’s the thing. There are a number of good Asian / Indian restaurants on the Isle of Wight but this has to be the best. Busy but tiny restaurant which also does takeaways.

Wide ranging menu, well prepared to your liking. Friendly staff, both front of house and kitchen. We really enjoy this restaurant.

Great tasty food, value for money and fab service. The chicken tikka Marsala was perfect as was the lamb rogan, with a Nan bread to die for.

I see the chicken biryani listed for £8.95 on the menu displayed in the window and on their website. However they charged me £10.95 for it, there's a restaurant pretty much next door to it that looks much more ambient and does the same dish for £10.49 I would say visit the one next door to it, so yes this one has misleading prices both on the window and the website and to be honest I wouldn't have bought it if it was £10.95. Not impressed.

This is only a small restaurant but the service was very quick. Very friendly service. We had the set meal for two which was excellent value. Food was faultless and at a great price. Would highly recommend.

We ordered a takeaway at the restaurant. This was for 7 & so quite a big order. We were told it would be 35mins & when we returned it was ready to go in a few minutes. The staff were very friendly, it was easy to order & the food was delicious, with the order being correct when we got home.

This is a very small Indian restaurant with only 14 covers with basic decor. However what they lack in size the certainly make up for it with their food. Everything we ordered tasted great, hot and spicy just liked we asked for. All at a reasonable price. The waitress Mary could not do enough for us, even with them being very busy on the takeaways. The restaurant is unlicensed, however there is a large supermarket across the road and they don’t mind you brining your own wine or beer into their restaurant, They will provide the glasses. Overall it was great food and great service. Well done Mary.

Myself and my friend went there last night and had a set meal for two And it was absolutely wonderful. I am very critical of Curry Houses because I have been cooking authentic Curries for over 40 years But this place is a hidden gem. Small place only 16 covers, but don’t let that fool you THIS IS MY FAVOURITE CURRY HOUSE ON THE ISLAND They do a lot of takeaways, and I’m not surprised. Everything is so fresh and tasty My friend and I just ate a few mouthfuls and then we both smiled at each other, my friend also cooks Indian food at a good level And for under £28 we got the best curry we have both had for a longtime. I highly recommend the set meal for two, it’s more than you can eat, but you try to eat it all because It’s so bloody good. Will post reviews of other dishes as I try them because I’m going back. Genius Chef. Perfect food.

Very clean, fantastic service and honest to god the best Indian food I have tasted. I have been all over the globe tasting Indian cuisine for a living and the chef at this establishment is worth my Michelin star. I recommend this venue for food and you need to try.

As it was our 1st visit, we phoned in advance of our takeaway with an allergy request. They were very happy to deal with our needs and the food was superb. We will now be regular customers. GREAT service and GREAT food.

Fabulous and amazing quality Indian food. Probably one of the best Indian food on the IOW. If seating inside, bring your own drinks.

My husband and I had a fantastic dinner at Mumbai Bites... as we were looking for a restaurants on Bank Holiday Sunday we stumbled at this little gem. Food was phenomenal and service was sweet and friendly. Not the cheapest but really worth it.
