An excellent Indian restaurant with authentic food, good service and friendly service. We had a very good meal here. My rogan ghosh on a cinnamon special biryanis with Bombay aloo side was perfect for a tasty but not too hot meal

A fantastic delivery service with food still as hot when it left the kitchen. Delivery was on time and the driver was very polite.

Amazing meal as always. Staff are always welcoming and able to deal with special dietary requirements - vindaloo sauce without coriander etc.. Tandoori King Prawn dishes are worth a special mention but all dishes are freshly cooked, not greasy and very tasty. Large portions. Can't recommend this restaurant highly enough.

Not a great experience , I visited the place today and just to experience the taste before ordering main course I ordered the “achi panner” and felt I should not go with main course for now and then manager response was odd he warned me we don’t consider starters if someone is not ordering main course. Suggestion make your mind before going. And as manager informed consider Ordering the main course and if not be ready for rude behaviour.

What a find this Indian restaurant was. The service was excellent and the food was outstanding. The cinnamon special curry is the best curry I have had for a very long time and would highly recommend it.

The best curry I have ever had. The staff were really friendly and the curry was just amazing.

Ordered online using their website for a home delivery for the first time. Excellent from start to finish, so easy to order, arrived soon afterwards, lovely and hot. Beautiful food, 10 out of 10 for everything we ordered, all delicious. We are all vegetarian, had veg curry, rice, naan, omelette and chips, all very, very happy with the food and the prompt service. Good is fantastic. Great sauces with just the right amount of spice. Just avoid the lamb. It's not very good. Everything else is very tasty

Searched for an Indian takeaway whilst on Isle of Wight for a long weekend and this one came up. Food was so yummy no complaints at all, nice big portion sizes and staff were lovely over the phone and face to face when picking up. :)

Excellent service. Friendly staff, nice food. Crisp poppadoms with onion,tomato, chutney, spicy picked and mint raita, onion bhaji starter very good. Had lamb passander, nice flavour, with basmati rice and had Keema naan. Bottle of chilled house rose, Spanish Highly recommended, very reasonable Returned Halloween for dinner, I had Tandoori mixed grill with plain naan and my wife had Lamb passander again. Excellent service, very good food, highly recommend. Looking forward to next time 10/10

Disgraceful customer service. I entered the store with my fellow black Muslim colleague and naturally the first question I politely ask the manager was “is the food halal”?. He said “yes”. I asked for a certificate or some sort of proof and he rudely replied that if I say the food is halal then it is halal. I suggest you use some manners of you would like to attract more customers. The manager was rude, condescending and quite frankly racist in my opinion.

We heard good reports about the place so we tried it for dinner last week. We were not disappointed. Very welcoming and friendly staff and the food was excellent. Would be happy to visit again next time in Shanklin.

First visit for an Indian takeaway on the isle of wight. Absolutely blown away by the quality and quantity! One of the best meals we have ever had. Before we left to return to the mainland we went back to the restaurant and ordered several meals to take home with us and put in our freezer. Looking forward to enjoying them to remind us of a wonderful holiday. Well recommend, will return on our next visit to the island.

The best Indian food and service I've ever had on the Island. From the moment we walked in the door the service was great. The food arrived quickly and was excellent.

Really disappointed. Having been a customer for many years when a mistake was made on a takeaway order there was no apology. My son’s normal Korma curry was a very spicy tomato based sauce. When I drove back from Sandown I was told I had ordered curry. Had that been the case surely they would have then asked Korma, Madras etc. ? Mistakes happen but their appalling customer service means I will never go there again. I suggest anyone risking a takeaway should check their order before leaving the restaurant.

Came across this joint on Google when searching authentic Bangladeshi cuisines in IOW, ordering process was very quick and staff were friendly inside. In terms of the food, the pathia we ordered needs some rework from the chef, I can’t understand why you don’t blend your onions, seems a little lazy to me and I’ve had pathias regularly and this was one of the worst. Otherwise the mixed grill and paneer we ordered was tasty, but your pathia needs work!

Outstanding restaurant. Excellent service, we were made to feel very welcome. The food was amazing with great vegan options, and the waiter took the time to go through the menu with us and show us what was vegan. Can’t wait to come back!

The food was awesome. We have ordered plain and 1 chicken kadhai masala and 1 chana masala (chickpeas masala ) . If want spice then do mention to waiter.

Not an authentic Indian food, service is not good (especially treating Indians).. not a good place to dine in..

The service was awful. They made us sit on table where there was no table cloth or any cutlery despite 90% restaurant was empty and tables fully setup. We had to keep on requesting basic things like water,drinking glasses etc. The staff didn't show snu courtesy to come and even ask how the food was or if we needed anything else, whereas they went to 3 other tables (English people) & gave them service like we didn't exist.

Food is not authentic Indian food.Also, the treatment with Desis is not friendly. They want only white people in their restaurant.

Very enjoyable meal. Four of us went and we all had different main courses from Biryani, Dopiaza and a chief special with poppadoms and a mix of dips to start. will definitely use again.

Myself and my wife visited here for the first time on a Saturday night , we had been recommended by the owners of our B/B about the restaurant , they go there regular them selves , the service was excellent the staff were very friendly, but most important the food was spot on , exactly how we like it , tasted lovely, cooked correctly, we liked the way they cooked the naan bread in individual pieces rather than one large bread , we wud highly recommend this Indian restaurant, one of the best Indian meals we’ve had to be honest, looking forward to going back again 👍

Our first time to this Indian restaurant and as visitors to the area we were recommended to visit. We are so glad we did! Wow! The flavours were amazing, the consistency of the dishes with sauce were spot on, large quantities and the service was great. We booked late in the day and they found us availability. It was a busy Saturday evening and the staff work very hard, also dealing with takeaways. This didn’t affect the service we received. Absolutely great! Thank you so much for the best indian we have ever tasted. It’s a shame we live in Bristol as we want to come back next week. Thanks again , Katrina & Dean

Friendly staff and great curry. I am a big fan of hot curry and chose the chicken naga, I was not at all disappointed. That food came out piping hot and the onion bhajis were crispy and delicious. Would highly recommend but be advised to book early as the restaurant filled up very quickly, and this was only a Thursday evening.

Just ordered online this evening which was easy to do. Food is gorgeous, chicken succulent, sauces were just right,rich without being too rich, beautiful food, the food looked very fresh and clean, portions an excellent size. Not easy finding such a good takeaway on the island , this was the best i have ever had. Recommended to all.❤️

When we(family - 4 adults) went for dine in and they have said it is busy for the next couple of hours. We were going through the menu for take away and they have asked only one person to stay in the restaurant to order the food which was very disrespectful.

Our first time to eat at this little gem of a restaurant in Shanklin. We were very pleasantly surprised. The food choice was excellent and the quality of food was very good too and tasted sublime! Staff were friendly and made us feel very welcome. The restaurant is quite small, which gave a very special and personal feel. The decor is contemporary and spotlessly clean. As locals, we don't know why we waited so long to try this place. Can't wait for our next visit.

The Cinnamon restaurant experience was absolutely fantastic. Not only was the food above excellence, the service was too. The staff were very welcoming and kind, they even opened the door for us on our way out! I would give the Cinnamon a very big recommendation! Lovely staff and wonderful food! 😊

Excellent takeaway delivered. Ordered whilst on holiday to come to our cottage. Fast delivery, super hot and best Indian we’ve had in ages. Better than back home, so tasty. The kids loved theirs too, the Garlic Chicken one is amazing!!!

I had dinner at this place last night and it was my worst exeperience.We order chicken which was not cooked properly when we show chicken to one of the person serving us he was so rude to this and not ready to accept it.Then another guys came and recooked same dish again.We also ordered paneer do pyaaza which was full of oil and spice.I recommend not to visit this place and waste your money.This was my first and last visit to this resturant.

Excellent restaurant extensive menu well worth a visit good food service and atmosphere

We had the set meal for 2 and we were able to change the lamb dish for chicken with no problems at all! Very good for the cost. Portions are great and the food was delicious. Delivery was around 30ish mins and this was a Friday evening. We will definitely order again when we return to the Isle of Wight. Really enjoyed the food here. The keema naan was delicious!

One of the best Indian Restaurants in IOW .. What a taste !! OMG .. We forgot to capture the items .. When we gave the first bite , felt like we were in heaven .. We enjoyed Plain Nun , Dhaka garlic Lamb and pulao Rice . Food Taste 10/10

Amazing food. We had it delivered on a rainy evening, and knew it would take a while. I arrived hot and delicious. Highly recommend the curries. A great addition to our experience on the island.

I ordered a takeaway, was late to collect so rang ahead to apologise and asked the staff to keep my order warm. I was asked how long I would be and when I said 20 minutes, they said they would make a fresh meal for me. THAT'S what I call good service. The meal was superb, in my opinion best on the island. I highly recommend Cinnamon.

I would not recommend this. Half way through eating this, my plate was full of water, and the food was very salty.

We have been on the island for almost a week, and only discovered this place last night. We wished we had found it sooner. The food is absolutely delicious. It is freshly cooked using good ingredients. Hats off to the chef 👌 The staff are lovely and very helpful. The place was full on a Wednesday, that says a lot. Top marks from us.

Had a lovely meal tonight! I was on my own but the atmosphere was great. I only had chicken dansak, pilau rice, plain naan and a side of lime pickle but the portions were plenty. I have to say that it makes a real change not to have my meal running over with grease! The food was superb and the service excellent. I highly recommended this restaurant!

Popped in on my own whilst house hunting. Glass of coke was room temperature without asking for ice. Doesn't take much to refrigerate cold drinks. Not a great start. Lots of locals were popping in for takeaways so it must be reasonably popular. Ordered garlic...

Loved the food here, being an Indian, its hard to find an authentic Indian restaurant, this was very close. Would highly recommend if you are looking for an Indian curry. Watch the spices though if you dont like it spicy. Dogs are not allowed.

Top quality fresh ingredients and super tasty chicken curry, tandoori prawns and garlic & coriander bread. Also excellent customer service from Jewel; he was helpful and kind from the minute we booked on the phone to the minute we came back to collect a pair of gloves we had forgotten about. To me it is the no 1 Indian restaurant and we'll be definitely coming back. Highly recommended.

While on holiday on the island we decided to order in a curry for dinner, through Google we found Cinnamon had a nice menu, we ordered for collection. The food was lovely, hot and they were even nice enough to put some free popadoms in the bag for us. Would definitely recommend and we will be returning again soon!

We bought takeaway meals for 5. Service was excellent and quick at a quiet time, prices were reasonable and quality of all the meals with plenty of meat was good. Only downside was meals were a bit too oily on top.

Very popular Bangladeshi/ Indian restaurant in center of Shanklin. My wife and I enjoyed excellent curries with delicious rice and naan etc. The staff were rushed off their feet on this busy Easter Saturday night but everything went smoothly. Would certainly like to visit again...

Avoid this restaurant. Food was tasteless and the staff was extremely rude. They served us raw and partially cooked food. When we asked the waiter that food was not cooked properly they responded in a rude manner. We ordered an extra naan after our initial order and the waiter was so rude in taking the order as well. Don't waste your money and time at this restaurant.

Food was mostly okay quality and taste. Not something that I would have considered for a second visit but worth the price. But My biggest complaint is with service, they seem to be operating at more capacity than they can handle that leads to bad service. The waiter asked us to order everything beforehand and they won't be able to serve any add on orders. Which is highly unusual for any fine-dine Indian restaurants. I was very disappointed

Very lovely service and excellent care for an authentic Indian taste, had a reasonable wait even though it is an Easter weekend but was provided with the perfect catering for an indian dinner for 6.

The ambience was very stressful as the the owners and staff did not seem to cope up with too many guests. It seemed like a forced decision to eat there with the disclaimer to “order everything in one go else next order will take 40 mins”. The food quality was okay. Wouldn’t recommend.

Three generations of our family met to celebrate a birthday - and it could not have been better. Superb food - as ever - and friendly, attentive service. We were not rushed and everything was just perfect - from the starters to the coffee, via the wine and, to repeat, the really excellent food. Two of us are vegetarian, and there was a good choice. We really appreciated everything - a great pleasure.
