Akbars it is ! I would like some of my money back and next time I’m in that area I will take them a home cooked curry and show them how a curry shud really taste like !

Superb experience for us. Having moved a bit too far away to keep this as our go to Indian, we decided to go back on Saturday night to sit in. A friendly greeting at the door, nice table and excellent service that was present but not intrusive. Two very nice curries, nice wine and good poppadoms. My wife has MS and found herself struggling up the stairs but the female waitress came to help her up which was very kind. An absolute 5/5 even if it’s expensive. But what isn’t expensive these days? They get it right in here which is probably why it’s rammed

Awful meal of oily, tasteless onion bhajis served with a brown sauce that tasted like HP, 2 veggie curries of nothing but frozen vegetables, a Peshwari nan that was dry and flavoured only with a bit of desiccated coconut, and a soggy, greasy bag of the cheapest French fries you can buy. £35 basically in the bin!

We came to you on Christmas Day. We got there earlier than booked in, due to our circumstances and we were happy to grab a drink and wait at the bar. OMG... what an amazing Christmas Day this was. Our food was amazing and out of this world! Well done to the staff, nothing was too much trouble. And..... Christmas Pudding to complete our day. A BIG thank you to the Royal Raj for making our Christmas Day A....ma....zing!

There are plenty of pictures to show how good the food presentation is, it doesn’t just stop there. Food is as good as homemade delicious meal and my first trip here is now memorable. I tried the non veg thali and while it was great, I couldn’t finish it as every dish part of the thali is equally awesome. Finished it with a filter coffee which is a classic. Well recommended to everyone and would be my place to go in Leicester.
