Thank you for our take away tonight I was slightly Dissapointed with my paneer shaslick .there were no seasonings on anything it was plain .. and im used to my paneer looking like its been tandorred with the flavours of the clay oven . The dansak was enjoyed by my husband with his rice but I'm not sure it was pilau rice ?.his parathia was nice but unfortunately my narn bread wasn't tasting of garlic and it just wasn't as nice as ones I normally have . I appreciate your lovely service and always appreciate all chefs cook differently but I just needed to tell you ....take care and thank you again .

Visited with my son last Saturday after we'd been go karting nearby,our meals were delicious and very reasonably priced.Decent portion sizes and very friendly staff. Looking forward to our next visit.

Mouthwatering food and excellent service. Home made samosa’s are special! Exceptionally delicious Chicken tikka Naganzi.

Excellent. We are a family of 5, turned up without a booking at 6pm after battling the heavy winds and rain. They were fully booked from 7pm but managed to accommodate us. Very friendly staff and the food was really good. Will definitely visit again when next in the area, and will book first the next time.

Ordered takeaway, spent nearly 40 quid and it was just bland , no flavour at all except for the lamb chops which weren't a massive portion. Expensive and bland, never again.

Another great visit. Straight forward classic Indian menu all the faves. Good food, beers and service as usual. Reasonably priced.

Excellent meal. I had the vegatble mix starter and the Nepalese lamb tikka main. Really tasty and tender. Good service. Spotless washroom facilities. This place is contemporary in its decor - bright and inviting. I will definitely visit again.

Last evening, I went there and had the early evening special. It compromised a papadom and the pickle tray, followed by a tandoori chicken starter and then chicken madras with pilau rice. The tandoori chicken starter was excellent, with the chicken being nicely charred. The madras was also good, but I would have preferred it to have more of a sour taste, with the rice being very good. An overall good experience.

Very good experience all round. Food was excellent , could not finish it all only because portion sizes were much larger than normal. Staff were attentive and helpful. It's always a good sign when the restaurant is busy even early in the evening and a steady stream of take away collections. Would recommend this place.

Probably the best butter chicken I’ve ever had …….. in addition to great starters ( including lamb samosas I suspect were made in house - not the usual frozen stuff), service was excellent and ambiance warm …. The restaurant spacious ….. leaves me wanting to return to Warrington asap for a repeat experience….. what a treat to find flavoursome , individually created curries instead of the usual formulaic sauces/dishes …… a truly 5 star Indian restaurant

We ordered a take away from here and was blown away by not only the food but the service on collection. The staff were very friendly and greeted me on arrival, i took a seat and was offered a drink while they got my order packed up. The food was amazing, lamb chops were to die for. Very happy and will return to dine in soon!

Warm welcome , food excellent, all the staff couldn’t do enough for us . Children friendly too . Will be returning soon .

Great restaurant, a bit strange on the outside, looks like a strip club (I’m told) Inside is decorated like a strip clinic (I’m told)- the waitress was very welcoming and great service throughout the meal - the food was excellent and tasted home cooked as opposed to an “Indian in a jar”….. A real credit to the chef and team. I travel the world and love Indian food but the Cinnamon Lounge is up there with the best I have had!! We’ll done abs keep it up- very COVID friendly seating so you feel safe without worry

We had the starter of 'cheesy rice balls'(!), veg samosas and onion bhajis. All looked and tasted home-made with pleasant fragrant spicing. We followed with mixed veg curry, tarka dal and a naan. The latter was exquisite, the dal was divine, the veg curry was marvellous. We savoured every mouthful and wiped out plates clean. We drank non-alcoholic shandies: very refreshing. Staff were welcoming and staff were good. And all excellent VFM!

Me and my wife went for our first night out this year after all the lockdowns. This place is safe first of all and brilliant all round. The restaurant looks great the staff are amazing and the food is the best you can get in the north west. They even offer a takeaway service while we are stuck in tier 3 and this is to a very high standard. If in doubt urge you all to go when the lockdowns have gone.

Due to lockdown 2 CL doing takeaways again.they still produce great food and service. People help out your local takeaway restaurants cafes pubs etc. We need to keep them in business or loose them.Enjoyed our meal arrived on time still hot plenty portion size. Keep up the good work

We wanted to try somewhere different for our Indian take away, to try and support local businesses during the pandemic, which as a family we enjoy this treat on a monthly basis. We had read good things about this long established restaurant and we have tried many of the Warrington Indian restaurants and take aways. We were so disappointed with the food both on a quality and quantity basis. My dish had no Indian tastes to it at all and for the price I paid, I was still hungry after eating the small portion. The naan bread was poor quality and dry , the meat was chewy and it was lacking any sort of Indian flavour as well as being extremely greasy. We will not be returning and we will stick with our usual Indian, which is faultless. It was a real shame after we'd had such high hopes.

My wife and I eat here quite regularly. We were here on Friday and the food was superb. We had a variety of starters and main courses and everything was top class. Service was also the usual high standard. Very happy to recommend.

We telephoned our order in and was advised to come and collect it in 35mins. We did this i waited inside. The food came out to us and we took it home. We opened up the foodTandoori mixed starter for two. - luke warm?? Two sauces were just about warmThe hottest thing was the peshawar naan??It was a waist of money as most of it went in the bin.....

Fancied a little run out to warrington from liverpool. Went back to our favourite Indian. Cinnamon lounge. Was empty. Didn't bother us we had the place to ourselves. Got the 5 course meal deal. £13.95. It's gone up in price. But was not disappointed. Everything very tasty and more than enough. Lamb jalfrazy. Chicken Rogan Josh. The meat fell apart. Deffo be returning soon.

Tried my first order a few months back and I’ve not looked back, they get it spot on with the food every single time, and they reacted very promptly when a side was missing from my order (which has only happened once). I was impressed how quickly they got back to me and even my dads impressed, and he’s usually very fussy! Thank you

Me and my fellow work colleague ordered from here today whilst on shift atbthe hospital, and not only was the food exquisite! But out of complete generosity they delivered it completely free of charge and never even charged us for the food due to being NHS frontline workers. I'd like to thank you all for your kind heartedness, and would recommend the food. Lovely.

We've visited CL on numerous occasions with our girls, who all love a curry. This was a family trip to celebrate my dear dad's 75th birthday. Staff always super pleasant and happy to modify meals or specials menu according to our requests. Not that my kids eat curry and chips - they're adventurous, and the staff are always delighted to see them order something other than korma!

Honestly, I didn't find the food/ taste to be authentic. It was a disappointing experience for me. Spent £22.75 (one person). I noticed being charged over at the end so I queried this with the waiter who went and got the bill revised. I won't be going back here again.

First visit for a while. Starters and mains were as described and all we're very good. Well spiced and served hot. Service was efficient and friendly.

This building has been an Indian for years, name has changed, I think the waiter was not born before my first visit! On reflection I was a bit tired and not too hungry. I had a Lamb Bengal Handi (new on me, I can be adventurous sometimes, ingredients all familiar) pillau rice and 2 popadoms on Steve's insistence and a jug of Mango Lassi. He had somat paneer, as ever, a main I can't remember, spinach side dish of some sorts, keema Naan and a couple of Lal Toofan. He'll eat anything, I don't know how he puts up with me, but we often talk about Quantum Mechanics - which is nice. Service good, unsurprisingly as it was practically empty, the word is people were holding back for Valentines night next Saturday. Food very nice I took half mine home to enjoy the next day when I recovered, I've never seen Steve need a doggy bag! I'm just finishing my Mango Lassi whilst writing this. It was surprisingly transportable in a foil box with cardboard lid even on my bike. Finished with Kahlua (me) and Brandy (Steve) liquor coffees Recommended! Enjoy Valentine everyone.

Booked in here for a Saturday night. Seated quickly and Was given a booth table which was really quirky. Food very hot and tasty. Chicken was really moist. Staff were extremely enjoyable to talk to. Decor wasn’t fantastic, quite old. Which is why this isn’t a 5 star. But would recommend and would probably revisit, but slightly more casual dressed I think.

The food was bloody delicious! The best Indian we have had in ages! Okay, we were the only other couple in the restaurant on a Sunday at 9pm (understandable) but we knew they’d be able to deliver a good meal. The starter of tikka paneer and Chana puri was sooo yummy and full of flavour! I decided to have two veggie sides instead of a main, saag paneer and aloo gobi. As a lover of spicy food, I asked if they could make my aloo gobi spicy and hot and they definitely delivered. The saag paneer was not how it is usually served but the paneer was great and the spinach tasted rich and fresh. The portions were really big for side dishes as well! I asked for a doggy bag and ended up eating it only a couple hours after I got home The garlic and coriander naan was so crispy and garlicky and had fresh coriander. It just had lots of flavour Super lovely service too! Can’t speak for you meat eaters out there but the veggie options were a treat! 100% recommend.

We normally order from here a lot, past couple of times the odd thing hasn’t been great. This time we had to wait just over an hour for delivery for the food to come and be freezing and for the chips to be under cooked. I definitely won’t be going back there again.

We went here on saturday but didnt book so had to wait 25 minutes for a table of 6, it was extremely busy considering it was in the 2nd week of january after christmas/new years hype. One of the main reasons i think people like to come here is the space (tables not crammed like most places these days) and the price is also very reasonable. Staff were very friendly and although our mains took a little while to come out the food was very good and enjoyed by all on our table. Great place and will be returning!

Went to cinnamon lounge on Friday 10/01/2020 with my brother and my girlfriend. The decor seemed slightly weird (previous gentleman's club?) But we ordered our drinks and looked at the menu. When the waiter took our order we ordered a few starters to share and then mains and sides to share. Service was very slow and when the starters came they provided enough starters to share between 2 people rather than 3. After another very long wait our mains arrived, the mains that were brought were wrong and we had to send one back and get another naan bread. The portions were small and the curry itself wasn't great. For the price tag of £90 I was very unimpressed and will not be returning

Looking forward to the 18/01/20 as the previous curry ate there was another 10/10 the food,staff and surroundings are second to none.

Went here for a party of course 10 as a Christmas family meal - absolutely amazing food and service. The prices are so reasonable for the amazing quality of food. The staff are so helpful and polite. Great choice of starters and sides and mains. All of the food had great flavour and was perfectly delicious. Every single person in our party was perfectly catered for and enjoyed their food. The atmosphere was intimate, the place was not loud- we could all have a lovely chat across the table and enjoy each other’s conversations. I highly recommend the Cinnamon Lounge as a place for any kind of meal - a date, a family meal or a work event- just fantastic all round. Thank you to all of the wonderful team this made our night so lovely.

Enjoyable. Fairly standard menu although extensive. Food nice and tasty. Passanda mild (as expected) and rich in flavour. Service good. Decor a bit chintzy for me but not detrimental to overall enjoyment.

I have reviewed the cinnamon lounge previously and whilst there weren't any massive issues I didn't find the food overly inspiring, however I am always happy to admit when I am wrong,and my recent visit has completely changed my opinion! My partner had never been to the restaurant so she had no preconceived ideas, so it was a pleasant surprise to have such a good experience, the food was very good, the service excellent and the added bonus was the reasonable cost, a very enjoyable visit start to finish!

This is the biggest Indian restaurant in the town centre so it’s great for parties. I come here often with my work colleagues and we all enjoy the tasty food and service. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves Indian food. I went last weekend and was impressed with getting my food served on time despite the restaurant being busy.

First time in cinnamon lounge for the curry crew, we were initially impressed with the decor and the paper maché tigers. We were welcomed in and made to feel at home, albeit the atmosphere was a bit lacking as we were moved in to a separate dining area. Our orders were taken and the food was tasty however the curry crew were not overly impressed with the service. If the curry crew were not providing the entertainment this would have ruined the night. We have therefore decided to give a three out of five star rating. Popadoms were good and the selection of dips was adequate - 3/5.

Booked the cinnamon lounge for a meal for my sons 18th . There were 15 of us. The restaurant had dressed the table and the area with balloons and banners .

Ni hao Cinnamon Lounge Restaurant Sankey Street Warrington is just okay in terms of customer service and food quality! Took our lovely friends from Taiwan for an early evening meal to this restaurant. A place that we have frequented before under a different name. The establishment is clean and the staff are welcoming, they do engage in conversation. The menu is typical of most Indian restaurants. We did however try to mix up our selection as we spared between four people. Probably of the dishes served to our table the “Exotic Delight” was the most enjoyable and invited the best flavors. Value for money probably on the high side to be totally honest. Worth a visit if you are in the area. But won’t go out of our way to return. Xiexie Gordon Sissi

Went for a nice 30minutes run from Liverpool to Warrington. We have been here before. Few years ago. Same staff very attentive. Nice to talk to. So it's all about the food. From the poppadoms starter main rice and garlic naan. Bottle of wine. Absolutely fantastic. And £42. Can't go wrong. Can't wait to go back.

Not a great experience tonight,took 2 hours for main meals to come out. We ordered 2 plain steaks(well done) they came covered in mushrooms and peppers in a sauce...they were bleeding when cut into. Sent them back and by this point the other 13 family members were eating so we didn't want to wait another 2 hours. I normally would of let this slide but the waiter rudley argued that plain steak comes this way and the fault was with our English language. A few of us did enjoy there meals so all wasn't to bad but a few said the for wasn't great but they were starving at this point. Won't be returning...not based on the food but the terrible customer service.

We called in here celebrating our daughter in laws 30th Birthday. We have had lots of happy times in here so many times over a very very long span in terms of years. Staff were great and the food was too. Lovely decor a nice place to have a good curry. Tea time deal was on when we arrived so it was a bargain on the day

The booking process was simple and efficient and were able to offer us some flexibility due to the fact we did not have an exact time the show would finish at the nearby Parr Hall.

This Indian restaurant is our go to place to eat on a night out. The staff are always great with us. The food is great with plenty to offer. Some good deals at certain times. Not been disappointed as yet, don't think we will be to be honest. cannot wait to go again.

Recently ordered a takeaway for 8 in work on Sunday night. All delivered on time, complementary popadoms and sundries included. Food was piping hot and spot on. Without doubt will use again.

We ordered Home Delivery from this restaurant for the first time last night (05/01/2019). The food was fantastic. Authentic Indian food delivered promptly at the requested time. Furthermore we were treated to a complimentary bottle of wine. Previously we had ordered form the Indian restaurants listed on Just Eat and the quality provided was nothing in comparison to what we were served at the Cinnamon Lounge last night.

Overall the food was okay. The main meals were good, no complaints at all. However the poppadoms were stale and the starters were cold. The main problem however the service. We asked for poppadoms only to be told if you have these you will have to wait 1 hour for starters!!! If we ordered both together it would take 10 minutes. Always needed to ask for things like drinks at least 3 times before we received them and we started to order double just to ensure we got served.

Gay friendly ! Our party of 8 had a great dining experience and all were impressed with the food they received and the service they received from the waiters !

Best curry house in the area hands down. Food is always hot and tasty whether its eating in the restaurant or takeaway. Staff are always welcoming and friendly. Highly recommended you won't be disappointed.

First time I've been here is many years - and the deco probably hasn't changed in that time - still an old school style Indian restaurant. But the atmosphere was fine and the food was very reasonably priced. I had a spicy lamb dish and the sauce was lovely, but the actual lamb was hard - very very poor! Others had chicken dishes and they liked them. All in all it was ok - fine for a run of the mill cheap Indian. However before we left the guy refused to order us a taxi - great service!

Visited here with my wife recently. We thought the new menu was excellent with great variety. The quality of the food we had was superb. Happy to recommend.

Food was very average and left me with a bad stomach for days. The service was pretty poor with the arrogance of the staff not leaving a lasting impression. Would not go again.

My fiancé and I went to Cinnamon Lounge in Warrington for my birthday tea after it being recommended by friends.

We went at short notice as a fairly large group but they were able to accomodate us easily on a Monday evening. It is a large restaurant and I assume it must be a lot busier on other nights. The service was efficient and friendly and they did manage to bring all the food out pretty much at the same time. The menu range was fairly extensive and I chose a medium strength curry which may well be described as mild in other places but it was full of flavour and well prepared. General view was that the curries were at the milder end but no one complained about the taste. The decor is quite smart and plenty of room. It was very good value and would happily go back

We had a small family meal on Saturday, I would just like to say the staff were excellent although they were short, worked very hard to make sure nothing was missing. Well done chef the food was spot on, keep up the good work.

Saturday night around 21.30 this very good value an great service. Food outstanding cooked the way it should be. Busy but not so busy where your waiting about. Will definitely return soon. !!!

Ate here with 2 work colleagues. I wasn't expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised. Bathroom spotless which is generally a good sign. Starters and Mains all good. Reasonably priced. 2 beers each and full works curries with starters for £65

Wow!!! I was in a hotel in this bit of a shabby neighbourhood. Hungry close to midnight. An hour before closing time, I ordered a coconut lime chicken. It was absolutely delicious!

Chose to eat here having read good reviews on here. Taxi driver that picked me up used to work there and gave it a good review. Have to say he was right. Food and service were excellent and the menu was quite extensive. Not the cheapest curry I have ever had but good value for money

Its something over 3 years since I last visited the Cinnamon Lounge for a curry. Last time I thought the CL was ok and that was about it. This time though I was much more impressed. Whilst the ambiance had not changed (the stairs carpet to the loos could do with replacing) the food was much improved, as was the service. All round a very pleasant surprise, I though I was just going to have a curry after a few beers. What I got was a very good curry at a reasonable price and decent service to. Thank you CL, I won't leave it 3 years again.

Came here for a meal out as a group of 24. Excellent service throughout and excellent quality and value for money. Staff helpful and food was superb. Highly recommended would happily go back there for another meal. Thankyou!

Food is always great here, has pashwari naan, pilau rice, makhani curry that was full of flavour - they do bangla beer here that is a great alternative to cobra, the staff are just as great as the food always chatty and nothing is too much trouble for them

What a lovely chilled restaurant this is it was our Anniversary so thought we would try this place and was very impressed with the way the staff we’re and also the food the atmosphere Was 100% just like the food it’s the best Indian I have so far will be back 10/10 for me

Visited Warrington last Thursday on business decided to try the Cinnamon Lounge, we were not disappointed, the food was fantastic, best starter I've had in a long while, prawn puri, divine! followed by the Indian fish bhuna which was just delicious. The staff were very friendly and polite. Well worth a visit.

We called in here last night and had such lovely food. Starters were nice and hot as we're the mains both were just delicious. Staff are always friendly and it was great to see John especialy as we had not seen him for a while. Decor looking great and everywhere nice and spotless. I would recommend this restaurant every time as the best in Warrington. Keep up the good work it's a credit to all who work there especially the chefs behind the kitchen doors who you never get to thank for your lovely meal

Went on a bisy Saturday evening. Place was understaffed and service took ages. Food was OK but nothing special. Actual place is a bit shabby and tables too close together. Better curry houses around in Warrington.

Came here as a celebration after a training course. We were pre-warned the food could be slightly hotter than usual and they weren't wrong; the samoas were lovely and had a nice kick to them. The lamb bhuna was nice but was a little more creamy than I was used to. Service was good; and we got a free little drink which was nice.

Great food and freindly staff. They also have a 4 course deal on during the week. I would definitely return.

Went here for a friends birthday meal Saturday night, it was busy but not chaotic and the decor is nice, staff were attentive and efficient ensured a table of ten were well looked after, the food was really good ! Fair portion size, and the peshwari naan and chicken madras were the best I’ve ever tasted , I was surprised by this place will definitely be recommending and returning

Booked for 8pm for 2 people, arrived on time but didn’t mention we had a baby in a pram, they quickly accommodated us and found a suitable seating area for us. Popperdoms came out quickly but there was a long wait for starters and mains. The food was good but not the best we’ve had. The staff and restaurant were nice, nicely priced food

Visited here with a party for a joint Xmas/ birthday celebration. This had been booked well in advance, and the food order was given to the restaurant ahead of our visit. When the main courses were brought out, most of my party was served their curries. However I was left staring at an empty plate, and had to get the attention of a waiter to ask where my curry was. He told me that my food would be about 10 minutes.

I visited the restaurant on a Wednesday early evening, well past opening time. The restaurant was quiet, however there were no staff in sight. I waited fully 2 minutes to see if anyone would appear but no, no-one bothered to stop the conversation I could hear behind the scenes, and attend to the customer who had made enough noise to let them know he was waiting.

A great find on our one-night stay in Warrington, A really lovely restaurant with a great atmosphere, very welcoming staff and excellent food.

Decided to try this restaurant tonight and very pleased we did. The staff were very friendly and service was excellent. The food was superb. Rogan Josh and a mixed Jalfrezi along with Peshawari Naan, Pakoora and Chicken Chaat were all bursting with flavour and cooked to perfection. Would highly recommend. Not only was it exceedingly good it was also very reasonably priced. We will certainly be back. Thanks.

We came here on the basis of TA reviews whilst visiting Warrington. Food was good. I ordered the mixed vegetable starter as I was having a meat main course and I was impressed by this. Decor was a bit 70's but none the worse for that. The staff were really friendly. We'll go again if we are in the area. 5 stars for the complimentary poppadums as the food was taking a while to prepare.

Visited in the week for a friends birthday, spontaneous decision as it had been recommended to us, and rightly so! We didn’t have to book as it was a Wednesday night. We decided to order the meal deal which includes poppadoms with chutneys, a starter, main meal and rice/chips/naan bread, £10.95 and so worth it! I thoroughly enjoyed my chicken tikka masala and chicken chat starter, the naan bread was fantastic. We gave them a cake to bring out for the birthday at the end and they added a sparkler for us and gave the birthday boy a complimentary bottle of wine! Friendly waiters up for a laugh and very attentive when it came to dietary requirements, we all really enjoyed our time here!

Just been to the Cinnamon Lounge for the first time and it was lovely. We went to celebrate our sons exam results, it was his choice to try the Cinnamon Lounge and am I glad we did.Great service staff were really friendly, polite and helpful the food was Fabulous, I had a main course I had never tried before ( Chicken tikka saag) YUM YUM I will Defo have it again.Thank you Cinnamon Lounge an staff, look forward to our next visit.

Went here to pick up a takeaway after work with a friend. Staff were lovely and very informative. Nice glass of rosè on the house while we waited for our food. Food was delicious and will use these guys again

I suppose having worked around Asia including Singapore, India & Pakistan trying to find a really good Indian style restaurant locally was always going to be tough but it is amazing that so many people are happy with your average curry fix. Cinnamon Lounge is a nice friendly restaurant with quirky modern décor but the food is average as are most similar restaurants in Warrington, in fact the best restaurant to challenge the standard offering was "The Taste" which offered a modern twist to the usual Indian style food, sadly closed, obviously not attractive enough to those just wanting the usual spiced food. The food at this restaurant is ok nothing poor but did find that the source congealed a little too quickly for my liking but it was ok, popadoms were not fresh but service was good. Would I return? no! simply not enough positives to put on my return list.

I am a regular visitor for the last year or so. The food and service has never let me down. I normally arrive just after opening and they still produce great food very promptly.

This Indian restaurant is close to the centre of Warrington. We visited on a Saturday evening. It is quite a large restaurant and was nearly full. It appears to have a loyal and regular following.I had chicken tikka served with a curry sauce which was excellent. My partner had chicken saagwala which was also excellent.The service was efficient and pleasant.The only blip in the evening was they seemed incapable of ordering a taxi. They rang for one and eventually came back to say that it was impossible to get a taxi. We called the biggest local firm ourselves and it arrived within five minutes.
