Love this place. The food is always excellent. Staff are attentive and cope amazingly well with a big group and multiple orders. We like the traditional style of decor and good service, much better than neighbours run more on a fast food style. We plan to be back soon!

The delivery was 30 mins late. It was missing the mango and onion chutney and the pickle tray, but still had the popadoms, which are pointless without them! Other than that, the food was good.

When it finally arrived the food was lacking in any taste and not much meat in curry.

An hour is a little long to wait but food was excellent

Food was lovely, nice and warm. Good portion sizes and delivered within the time frame stated.

Firstly, the popadoms were stale. The onion in the rice was burnt, all three pieces of it.. gave a delivery time of 60 - 75 mins. Rang after 90 mins as had notification it was on its way half hour prior. Was told not to worry, wouldn’t be long they had pressed delivery button by mistake, for it then to be a further half an hour. Lesson learnt, collect from our usual place in future.

Food was gorgeous, both curries came extra spicy which we loved

So disappointed so called spicy it was so bland garlic was tasteless looked like old almonds slices, chips hard crunchy fries..sorry won’t be ordering from here again.. shame use to be nice!

Ordered from here tonight, wait time between 30-55 minutes. Well I ended up waiting 1.5 hours. I rang at 20.45 and they said the food would be 5-10 minutes. It arrived shortly before 21.00. Upon opening the food, half of it was cold and had to be reheated. The chapati was soggy and dry. Have eaten in the restaurant many times and it’s been lovely but tonight the delayed timing and cold food was abysmal. Minimal refund offered so disappointed with tonight’s meal

Order from here most weeks but tonight was a bit disappointing as not the quality as last week and portion size smaller.

Food took 2hrs 10mins to arrive shouldnt state a delivery slot if l cant be kept, good food though.

Absolutely delicious food every time. Varied menu . Always pipng hot food freshly cooked . Very polite friendly staff. The restaurant will accommodate large parties. Restaurant is unlicensed so only serves soft drinks . Take your own alcohol . No corkage charge

very poor, del time supposed to be from approx 9.20pm to 9.45pm7. Finally arrived approx 10.25pm. No communication to say it was late, ignored our chasing the order up. The chicken curry from the order was all peppers and onion with hardly any chicken in. Was over a tenner so at least expected decent amount of meat in it

I ordered for collection and was given a time of 19.20. The order was ready at around 19.00 which was brilliant for us. Food was absolutely delicious and a large portion so we'll be having leftovers tomorrow ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The food while only just warm, was excellent, but the delivery was over an hour late 😞 I will give them another try, but I'll pick it up in person. please do give them a try, but either pick it up or eat in the restaurant.

Can’t really fault it. Really good with just the right amount of kick and the only thing I can fault is that for me the pieces of chicken in the curry were on the big side. Will definitely order from them again

Never had a problem but tonight was a joke well over an hour for delivery told me 30 to 40 minutes which was ok but no communication so last time I’ll be ordering from them was told food had been delivered think delivery driver went to wrong address as I was stood outside waiting for delivery after I got message to say food been delivered but as I speak to all my neighbours I will check with them .. phoned restaurant told it would be another 20 minutes..more like 30 but eventually got meal .. not happy

When the order was originally delivered the rice off our order was missing. We got in touch with the restaurant who said that it would me ‘maximum 20 minutes’ it then took another hour for the rice to be delivered. When it arrived, it was stone cold.

The food is always great from here. Very tasty and it arrived hot which is good. I don’t mind food being late I just wish they’d update you rather than having to request the information yourself. I’d rather know up front and it arrive sooner than expected than believing it’ll be arriving at a certain time. My original arrival window was 7.15-7.35 and it arrived at 8.15, which is technically an hour later.

Food was ok but poppadom was soft and portion seemed small for the money.

Over an hour late, couldn't get in touch with restaurant for over 30mins. When it did arrive it was cold and inedible. The onion bhajis were like chewing rubber and the poppadoms were awful. The main meal had some warmth to it but poor. Absolute waste of money.

I used to come to green cardamom regularly with a large group, every birthday, celebraton and we even came at Xmas day once! Ashton and haven’t been for a while, and After ordering delivery today after telling everyone how amazing it was,I’m not sure I’ll return. 1hr 45mins for food, was told for 25 mins it was with the driver.. attitude on phone was so bad. I rang after 58 minutes to ask when I can expect it, and was told ‘it’s not due for another 2 minutes’ and then proceeded to wait another 45. Yous think after all of that the order would have been right, but was still missing all the dips ordered and paid for with the poppadoms. Food was nice but nothing how it used to be, won’t be returning after this, service was shocking. Over £30 for 2 people a curry each and couldn’t even put all the items paid for in the bag.

Order confirmed at 6.15, arrival est. 7.15 to 7.45. Contacted restaurant at 8.15 told by staff they was busy and my order not ready yet. Food arrived at 8.40 and was COLD which tells me it was ready but forgotten until the phone call at 8.15. Very Poor service. Disappointed.

No issue with being 10 mins late. My curry was spot on. However, wife ordered dhansak as she only eats mild curries. It was way too spicy for her. Waste.

Nice little Indian restaurant. Service was quick. Very reasonably priced. Curry was nice,not spicy enough for us but that's a personal preference. Poppadoms, chapati, nan,etc were all very nice. Doesn't serve alcohol only soft drinks. You are allowed to bring your own beer,wine,etc with you. Parking isn't great. Park in a nearby side st.

Usually collect our order but ordered delivery this time. The food was great but it arrived at least 20 minutes after the stated time, it was slightly sweet though which I wouldn’t expect in a madras.

Ordered veg biryani ,which consisted of a large pile of rice with minute specks of veg and a veg sauce .. there was no omlette ( that should have been there ). So including delivery I paid over £12 for some rice and sauce .. thanks for nothing..won't use again

One of the Orders was wrong, Ordered Lamb Tikka Madras, for my partner and instead came as Chicken, my partner can NOT eat chicken and i can Not eat hot things so her order was Wasted and had to be thrown.. Not happy with that, hoping to get abrefund for her order but atm nothing yet, very displeased.

Perfect!! About time i found a take away that has good lamb that’s doesn’t feel like rubber to chew ! Everything cooked to perfection!

Ok ok place to chill. The best part is you are allowed to bring drinks from outside. They have a pretty chill vibe going on with some really nice Bollywood songs playing in the background. The food was not upto the mark. If you are looking for a good Indian restaurant where you will find authentic Indian food, then this place is not for you. It serves some of the most common Indian dishes like chicken jalfrezi, korma, biriyani, butter Paneer, etc. But it's not spicy at all. We had naan, egg fried rice, chicken jalfrezi, spicy papad, chutney tray, sheek kababs . But frankly speaking none of it left a good taste in our mouth. It's no good. And the price is also a bit expensive compared to the taste of food

Ordered a mix starter, hot wings and chicken tikka Naan the food was around an hour which was estimated, when our food arrived everything was cold like it had just been taken out of the fridge! Disgusting

Just had a fantastic vegetarian meal from Green Cardamom, can’t praise it enough. Popadoms with dips, Saag Aloo, veg samosas , korma sauce, vegetable rice and Peshawari naan. Delivered fresh and hot. Brilliant service 😊

Part of order was missing.Didnt get any poppadums with my order.This has happened before to.Rang them up and said we could have refund for them or get them free next time.Not happy with that because what about the chutney/pickle tray we ordred to go with the poppadums.

After two hours from ordering and following a phone call due to a message saying enjoy your food when restaurant agreed it had not even been sent out for delivery our food arrived warm not hot and undercooked
