Staff extremely courteous and food was good. Fresh food well cooked and always well presented. Good selection on the menu. Currently offering 4 course fixed price menu for £16.95 which is very good value.

Had the £16.95 menu, poppadoms, starter, main and either rice, naan or chips. It was fabulous. Had two chicken chats , paneer tikka, onion bhajee to start . Mixed Ceylon, chicken tikka biryani, chicken tikka and chicken korma for our mains with naan bread. All food was delicious and the staff were very friendly . Would definitely recommend a visit

Terrible all round! Rude & denied all knowledge of Just Eat offer which was confirmed at booking. Offered to email screen shot but was not interested as we’d already paid I full.

I’m always surprised this lovely restaurant isn’t busier. The food is 5*, the staff are very friendly and it’s tastefully decorated. It’s a cut above the rest. I think more people go to the other Indian because they can take there own alcohol so it’s probably why the are a lot busier. Shame as the food here is perfect and there is a lot of choice. Well worth a visit.

Very nice food, fresh tasting, good portions and extremely tasty. A few different dishes, as well as all the classics. Staff are really friendly and helpful. We ate in the restaurant, nicely decorated and extremely clean. Finn made us feel extremely welcome.

We took the family to Junoon last Thursday for a meal. Very tasty food, and service was fast. The restaurant is small, so if you are tall you have to duck down as we were told is used to be the old butchers many years ago. Would definitely come again! I had the Chicken Tikka Masala which was delicious & the bill was reasonable priced👍

Not many tables but a good Indian restaurant offering the usual range but a little bit distinctive. I opted for King Prawn masala with pilao rice and saag aloo. Palatable. The vegetable somoza starter is good. Choice of 3 beers. Tiger seemed slightly better than Kingfisher. Good service.

My Scottish wife and I arrived in Wem, Naïve and hungry with our 11 week old baby. Our hotel provided several different menus from a variety of eateries in the local area. After much deliberation, we ultimately decided to head to Junoon for dinner. What fantastic judgement by us! We were greeted by friendly staff on arrival who were only too happy to accommodate us with our cumbersome pram. We sat down at our table and began an evening which turned out to be a masterclass in Indian Restauranting. Drinks orders were taken quickly, allowing us to rehydrate after a hot day of being snappy and soothing our child. Poppadoms quickly followed with a selection of three chutneys and raw onions. There was no need to pace oneself when using the dips as the depth of the ramekin meant there was a plentiful supply. After enjoying these, it was time to place our order. I requested a paneer pathia - something that wasn't on the menu. I wondered whether requesting this unorthodox order would be the moment that we would start to see the cracks in what had up to this point be an outstanding restaurant experience. I was wrong to have any doubts. Our kind server was unflinching in the acceptance of this request. As well as the pathia, my wife ordered sag aloo and we opted to share a cheese naan and a pilau rice. When the food eventually came, it was absolutely delicious! Our recalcitrant baby boy did his best to ruin yet another evening for us by screaming and generally trying to monopolise our attention, but his efforts were in vain. A kind staff member was attentive enough to recognise that we were struggling to manage his behaviour and offered too put on the nearby aor conditioning which proved to be very helpful in stifling the child's rage. When the bill came we were suprised at how inexpensive our meal was. Another note would be that the toilets were very clean and presentable. Would strongly recommend Junoon to anyone in the area considering a place to eat out. Genuinely struggling to think of constructive feedback, maybe the front door is a bit stiff.

Absolutely fabulous place, amazing service by Finn, a young lad who was the main and only server. The food was probably the best Indian food I've ever had, absolutely delicious. A real find in a beautiful village.

Four of us visited on a Saturday evening and every part of our meal was very well presented and really tasty.Our waiter was Finn who is consistently polite and professional!

Lovely food. I had the king prawn Rogan Josh and it was lovely and the chilli and garlic rice really added a kick. The service was spit on- quick and efficient. Would highly recommend. Best Indian in Wem.

I called to pre order a takeaway at 5.15pm for collection at 7.30pm on Saturday night. When I arrived to collect it I was told it would be a few minutes. About 15 minutes later it still wasn’t ready despite pre ordering in plenty of time. The manager was quite flippant just saying they were busy. When we eventually got the food home it was disappointing to say the least and just tasted of strong curry paste from a jar and not authentic at all. It was our first visit to Junoon and we won’t be going back.

Excellent service from waiter Tein and all credit to the chef who created delicious, beautifully presented food. Which explains why the restaurant has been around for so long.

An outstanding array of flavoursome food. One of the best restaurants in the county. Junoon do a wonderful curries and i especially like the korma dishes with perfect poppadoms every time.

Awful customer service. Told thirty minutes for collection only for it to take nearly an hour and a half. My son was sat in the shop waiting for almost an hour. Absolutely disgusting disregard for the customer. If they can’t achieve collection times then they should tell you and save your time.

Perhaps we chose badly, but not enjoyable

Have been communicating with this restaurant online for the past 2 weeks to see if they can cater for an outside event in October . Despite initially agreeing to do this (with me pre ordering and pre paying for the large order the day before), they have now accused me of being a comedian and blocked me from communicating with them. I was simply trying to arrange an alternative time to come into the restaurant to pay as I live 60 miles away. I’m sure their food is lovely but their customer service is rubbish. I feel very let down and their last message to me was unnecessarily rude.

All your favourites plus a few surprises on the menu - but all well presented with good balance of flavours. This applies equally to the chicken biryani as to the more unusual offerings.

Please what out for the prices because I charge extra money and would not recommend this place to anybody

Absolutely diabolical service. Ordered via telephone stated order would be ready in half an hour, went to the restaurant, and waited another half an hour, and even then, they omitted part of the order, which we had driven 6 miles to pick order up, and then we half way home, when we had to turn back for the other part of the order, which they hadn't packed in our order. Compensation was a big bottle of coke!!! The price of petrol!!! And a free bottle of coke!!! Not good service at all.

Very friendly staff and great prices. Staying the night at the Coaching Barns and this was perfect. Would highly recommend the restaurant.

We have ordered their meal for 4 (£50) twice in close succession and.have been impressed on both occasions. A plentiful amount of tasty food delivered on time.is just what we needed on both evenings. Thank you again Junoon, leftovers for lunch again, lol.

The food is always great but I am sick and tired of the poor delivery times. Pre ordered through JustEat at 1.30pm this afternoon for a delivery at 7.00pm. I received a text at 6.50pm from JustEat saying meal was on its way. It is now nearly 8.00pm and still no food. It is becoming a joke. I rang the restaurant and was told they had to update the status of the food for JustEat and so effectively lied. No apology but apparently our food should be 10min.

Brilliant food, and atmosphere, it's great to have this restaurant in the town. The chicken biryani is recommended

Wow!! We ordered our food and it was absolutely delicious ☺️ as a busy carer I'm used to cooking for my lovely service users so a treat was deffo in order. We used the delivery service and the lovely Sham delivered our yummy meal in his usual friendly courteous self 🤗 well done team Sham absolutely faultless 👍

Went to the junoon for a business meeting and got to say from walking in to the end was a dining experience that was totally amazing. The staff where polite, friendly, helpful and professional. The food was amazing, good range of drinks available. The place for very clean and had a warm welcoming atmosphere. The owner Sham took his time out to check everything was ok even tho he was running around keeping the place moving. If your ever in Wem and love Indian cuisine it’s a must to visit Darren

Really enjoyed the meal we had here. Staff are so friendly and helpful without being overbearing. They will adapt dishes to suit your taste. Shaz/Sham(?) was so welcoming. All the food was top quality and well presented - and reasonably priced which was a bonus. Staff were Covid safe and hygiene was a priority.

Not good service. Waited 2 hours for my delivery, phoned 3 times and kept saying it will be 10 minutes. Food was cold by the time it eventually got to us. Wont be ordering again from here.

Had to book here to get a table and it was certainly worth it , food was spot on and service was excellent despite it being busy , tables are well spaced out and staff dealing well with the new regulations 😄

The food was good however the service was appalling!8 of us had booked for 7:30 and we waiting a long time to order and really long wait for food. It was 9:45 by the time we got our main course and another 8 minutes until all of us received our rice, by which time we were past hungry! The waiters didn’t seem to care that we were disappointed! I wouldn’t visit again!

Orderd a chicken vindaloo with egg fried rice and cheese naan. The lid for the vindaloo wasnt put on properly so the sauce was all over the bottom of the bag and somehow the top near the handle? All 3 arrived cold resulting in me having to microwave them. After heating, the vindaloo was nice enough but probably would have been nicer if not needed to microwave and had the sauce from vindaloo in the container as opposed to the bag. Naan bread was nice and delivery driver very polite. May try again in future as reviews on here show this must be a one off

We ordered a takeaway for a specific time and we had to wait another 20 minutes for our order to be ready. We got home and half of our order was missing we phoned up and they said come back and we’ll cook the missing things. However this seemed good but we had to travel 5 miles to get back. They said when we got there they would give us some compensation so when we got there they said they would give us a bottle of good wine and they asked what type and we said red and they said ‘I can’t give you that we only have white and we can’t give our best red wine to people like you!’ We got back home for the second time and we paid an extra £3 for the salads and dips and below in the pictures this is what we got for £3!!!!We do not recommend this Indian place we now wish we went somewhere else as the customer service was disgraceful!!!!!

Where do I start . Sheek kebab was tasteless and rock hard covered in a cheap tomato sauce . Disgusting. Even my hens didn’t eat them . Chicken madras had to be drained of fatty water before putting over the overdone clumpy keema pillau rice. Chicken had hard bits and the rice tasteless . Three mouthfuls and I was done . Naan bread was thick and doughy. Overdone on the outside, undercooked on the inside. Onion bahji was actually the best bit and they were free. Shame they forgot the mint sauce . The worse curry I’ve ever eaten. Never ever again.

Placed an order on 30/03/2020 at 10:15. I waited and waited, called the restaurant an hour later with no answer...Called the following day to be told “oh we left at 10pm”.Asked for a refund, I was told the money would go back into my account as order not taken. It’s now the 8th April and four calls to the restaurant since and no success. I’m told the manager is not available and will call me back. £19.20 I’d say fraudulently taken without and goods/services received.Appalling really under the current circumstances!!!

Junoon has been open in Wem for around 3 years and for me it’s the best restaurant in the area by far

Ordered food at 18-50, wasn't delivered until 20-30, food was cold, poppadoms were smashed in bag. Will never use this place again, i was warned not to use ,but thought i would try, absolute disgraceful.

I have been useing this resturant since it opend. To me it still is as good as then with quality food and warm friendly service. I do enjoy both takeaways and eating in the clean, bright and warm restarurant. Standing and having a cold Cobra with Zafar is one of the high points of my week.

I have been eating in the restaurant and having take away meals, from when the business first opened. On a few occasions I have had to wait, but it is worth it and it's nice to see that they are busy. I can really recommend a visit, you won't be disappointed

Staff were very friendly and looked after us really well . Four of us went and all our meals were lovely . The only thing I noticed was it wasn’t very warm in there . However I would definitely go again .

I regularly get takeaways from here and am never disappointed. The food is always fantastic and Sham and the staff are always very helpful and courteous; I was even given a free pint on my birthday...very impressed. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

We have been to Junoon on a number of occasions and it just seems to get better and better. All dietary requirements can be met, and if there is a question it can be answered. Food always looks beautiful on the plate. Absolutely top rate. The staff always make you feel very welcome and if you visit regularly you become friends. Good value for money too. If you aren't sure what things are the staff can explain and recommend food for you, depending on what you like. Sham and all the staff are brilliant.

Ive been a couple of times for a takeaway and decided to go for a sit-in meal and wasnt dissapointed. Our server Sham helped Me out with the menue..(I'm an old stick in the mud and always have Lamb vindaloo) and his sugestion was perfect.

Visited twice in the same week, excellent service (Sham) matched with great dishes that don't break the bank. Highly recomended.

We come here near enough every week for a family Indian. The food, service and atmosphere is the best around! Even when we didn’t live nearby we would still travel for a meal or a takeaway because it was so worth it 😁

First impressions of the outside of Junoon are excellent. It looks clean, tidy and welcoming. The same is said as you step inside...a warm welcome, clean, bright, pleasant surroundings, and attentive and friendly staff.

There was 6 of us and we all thoroughly enjoyed the food and the service. The staff were friendly and efficient.

It was a few weeks since we'd last eaten at Junoon, and the food and service was easily as good ever. My wife asked for a vegan korma, which was not on the menu. This was no trouble for them and we were impressed: a karma texture and taste without the richness of the traditional cream-using version. I stuck with my favourite mixed balti. All good. The house red merlot was very reasonable. Cobra beer nicely chilled too. All round good value, and thoughtful service from everyone. Without doubt the best place to eat in Wem!

Popped in here Friday night , Excellent food , excellent service, place was quite full but we were served quickly . Sham the owner is very easy to chat to and certainly knows his food . Restaurant and toilets are all spotlessly clean . Wonderful place .

The Friday before Christmas and all the tables were reserved but they managed to accommodate me a lone diner without a reservation. Very welcoming staff and the chicken with spinach with pilau rice and chapati was very tasty and well presented.

First trip here. Pakistani cuisine served by friendly and professional waiting staff. The restaurant has been stylishly but simply renovated and was clean. The toilets were very clean at the rear. I have eaten in Pakistan and the food was authentic enough, albeit with a bit of sympathy to a Shropshire customer base! Enjoyed it, and like any decent restaurant, you can ask for anything you want, even if not on the menu.

If I could give 0 stars I would thought we would try them 5 of us had takeaway tikka massala biryani madras balti and all tasted the same rice was cold very bland chips were not edible will not be going back again!!!!
