This was our 3rd visit , food not as tasty and very dull atmosphere , no background music , ..maybe because it's mid week and not busy . Vegetable balti was basically potatoes and onions so very basic. Will return at weekends .

Haven't had a single bad experience here, we've eaten in on a couple of occasions and also had take away, each time we've not been disappointed. My only issue is ~ I can't go as often as I'd like.

There food is nice but can sometimes be bland

Me and my boyfriend came for date night, the waiter was nothing but helpful, smiley and polite, food was delicious and service was relatively quick too, reasonably priced, we would definitely return.

This is by far one of the best curry houses for miles and miles around. As a family, we have spent many years going to curries and have eaten Indian food all over the world. The meal at Elach is by far our favourite and it never fails to blow us away. Luckily, we only live about 30 minutes away, so it’s now become a regular trip! Not only is the food amazing, but the service is incredible and the staff are very friendly. I have a nut allergy, but the staff are always very careful and reassuring with my meal every time. We recently visited for both my birthday and my parents’ anniversary, which falls on the same day. We visited with my grandparents, who are also regulars. The staff went above and beyond to celebrate the occasion, which was wonderful. 100000000% wholeheartedly recommend this Indian!

Ordered for collection when I got there food was ready got free poppadoms and mango chutney and discount because I paid cash and food was spot on really nice

Found this restaurant on line went in for takeaway. The munter behind the counter was useless serving me another couple came in she stopped taking to me and served them as they were sitting in had a confuntation with them then served me. Got home food was disgusting nan bread was hard chicken rogan josh salty and tasteless won't be going back and will tell everyone I know everyone avoid this place if I could give - 1star

What a shame I wasted my money in such a filthy place. The Asian tall waitress is such a dirty person she was putting her finger in her nose every time and her mouth stinks . The staffs are so inexperienced that they don’t even know what to do, all busy with their mobile phones. Never going there again. Food was running in oil. Complained but was told that this is what their style of cooking.

The food, atmosphere and service was lovely when I visited here with my partner on our anniversary. The food was reasonably priced and the staff were lovely.

We have used Elach now afew times.. there food is always delivered hot, fresh, and gorgeous... The staff are so lovely and polite, and we would not use any other Indian. 200% recommend

Went out for a family meal and the restaurant was clean and staff was polite and there was soooo much food and the L naan breads are amazing and everyone loved everything the only thing we didn't like was the spicy chips but there was so much food we weren't fussed about that

The best Indian Restaurant for miles.

Enjoyable restaurant. The food was tasty and well cooked with a good range on the menu. Murgh Masala was my choice and it was tasty enough with a fair sized portion. Good service, with lovely staff too. Points off for not having an alcohol licence, although we did go to the off licence over the road for a couple of cans - not as good as draft though, but that's probably my personal choice. Try it, it's good!

Food was amazing and and chef cooked the food we asked for even thou if was not on menu no dish is a problem would highly recommend

Ate here last night. Attentive service which lasted throughout the whole meal. Poppadoms were lovely warm and fresh, pickle trays were full. Starters were very good. I really liked the fluffy puri bread rather than the thick mess that's sometimes served. We were asked as with the starters if we were ready for our mains. Dishes were piping hot, chivken was plentiful, big chunks of it, and the garlic nan was superb. Chips were nice too as was the pilau rice. It's quite some time since we've had such a lovely indian meal. We'd had a few drinks beforehand so just asked for jugs of water to drink, and we couldn't believe the bill was less than £43. It would have been nearly as much again in our local place where we live. Amazing food, and we would revisit in an instant.

We were travelling home from Bawtry and found this little gem via a Google search. It did not disappoint, food was fantastic - flavours, quantities and presentation just right. Managed to park outside so no walking needed. Would highly recommend and will make a point of revisiting Elach again in the future. Big thanks to our waitress and the rest of the staff, keep up the great work.

The place was almost deserted when I went however the food was excellent and I'm sure the place being empty was not a reflection of the place's quality

Really enjoyed our curry meal we have now been coming for some time always good. Very polite staff to.

Ordered 3 starters and mains to collect. If we had eaten in, no doubt the starters out come with some salad, onions and mint sauce. Got home and nothing but they are happy to charge the same price. We used our plates , served ourselves and cleaned up ourselves...how can we get less for the same cost? Not so much a rip off but definitely thoughtless customer service.

Just had the worst Lamb take away meal from here. It could of been dog for all I know. I nearly broke my jaw trying to chew it! I don't think I'll be going back anytime soon. And I don't think I'll get any kind of refund!

The lamb was awful, didn't taste like lamb and was so chewy, struggled to eat it

An enjoyable Bangladeshi dining experience. The menu is extensive and the food was delicious and promptly served. We were made to feel very welcome. Prices are reasonable and it’s a pleasant setting too.

My husband collected our meal this evening, must of been a warm up from the night before, the starters were not nice at all. The chapati, smelt and tasted dreadul. We may have had a few lovely meals from Elach, but 1 bad meal had cost them our custom. And I mean bad meal.

Just spent £30 to put in bin tasteless never again

It took 2 hours and 20 minutes for the food to arrive. I had to call twice having ordered online. I thought I'd give the food the benefit of the doubt when it turned up. Unfortunately, it was aweful. I ordered the tandoori mixed grill. Chicken was bone dry and the beef was tough. The naan breads were cold and stale and the rice had gone cold and hard after standing for so long. My wife and daughter had the chicken tikka masala. It was bright red and loaded with colouring and tasted very sweet and sickly and was unlike any other tikka masala we have ever tasted. This is by far the worst overall experience I have had with an ordered in meal. The best food in the order can only be described as 'uninspiring' at best. Very poor value for money, especially as we paid £58 for the meal. This was the first time I had order from Elach. It was also the last.

Absolutely loved the food from this restaurant. Patia was authentic and full of flavour. Beef and prawn curry was delicious! Great Bombay Potatoes. Nan was very tasty. Wasn’t greasy, just delicious and the portions were generous

Lovely food all our meals were piping hot and very tasty and they don't skimp on the meat, one of our friends is vegetarian and even had pretty good choices for him which he enjoyed very much, just have to take your own alcohol but they do have soft drinks not a problem, staff were very polite and helpful nothing was a problem, highly recommend.

Disgusting waited nearly 2 hours for our takeaway.it turned up eventually cold! The chicken was like eating a flip flop. Never going there again absolutely Disgusting!!!!!

Great food, at very reasonable prices and service as good as I have ever had anywhere, the two young ladies were a credit to the business and themselves, the little things go a long way The menu is great and every meal we had was piping hot, and really tasty, would compare it with any curry house I have ever been too

We had an excellent meal from their house specials. Great friendly service and took account of my gluten free requirement. Very tasty meal. BYOB really helps with the cost. Will be back when in Gainsborough.

The food from here is excellent and whole it can get busy it doesn't take too long to be served

I personally did the revamp on this restaurant, installing 2 new disabled ramps to provide a much needed dining access, followed by re-decorating & the installation of new outdoor signage. Nice food, had numerous takeaways, even dined in a few times too, i reccomend both types depending on your decision, whichever it may be.

We lived in Gainsborough for a long time but have moved to the cast and can't get a good Indian so we look forward to aelach when we visit.food is absolutely fantastic

Five of us enjoyed a very nice Indian meal on our way back from Cadwell Park. It was a bit last minute but they managed to squeeze us in. The waitresses were very nice.

This is by far the best Indian in the Gainsborough area, the food is always top notch I’d highly recommend!! The reason it’s not 5 stars is the service, the young girls spend more time on their phones than attending to customers.. BAN THE PHONES and you’ll have the best restaurant in the area 😃

Food is normally really good, warm and tasty. But last couple of orders are getting worse and worse, ordering two lot of poppodoms and only getting one bag etc... Tonight's took the biscuit 60p for a single poppodom!!! It's listed as poppodoms on the menu.. lovely food but just too expensive when you keep not getting what you've ordered and paid for. Such a shame

I got dinner from here 1 night while working in the area. The food was good and was very well priced. The staff were friendly and polite. I would happily eat here again.

A great little local curry house. With a good choice of speciality dishes along with the classics. We had several different dishes and all were full of flavour. We will definitely be returning. In my opinion the best Indian in Gainsborough.

I ordered a takeaway meal for 4 on their website. It was easy and worked well. Food was ready on time and the person serving was very friendly and polite. It is my first Indian takeaway in Gainsborough and I was not disappointed. Food was hot and tasty. Portion sizes were excellent. Even though I didn't eat in, the restaurant looked clean and modern. I will definitely be eating in at some point and will order from Elach again.

We ordered a takeaway online, and collected it on time a little later. Parking behind the restaurant was easy and only a short walk to the door. The service was fabulous, very polite and speedy, with the manager even throwing in a couple of freebie...

Completely disappointed, ordered a meal for the family early afternoon for New Year’s Eve to arrive at 7.10pm. It is now 8.55pm and still no sign of it. Called to chase it and was told it would be with us in 10-15mins, when we asked...

We were told 1.5 hours for delivery and it took 2 hrs and 45 minutes. The lamb vindaloo had 2 pieces of lamp, the rest was potato . The prawns in the tandoori korai jingh were over cooked and chewy. Compensation for late delivery was...
