Absolute gem of a French deli tucked away in a "blink and you'll miss it" narrow shop front. Been going here a little while now for good baguette but also the occasional delicious pastries and excellent filled baguettes with a fantastic selection to choose from. The charming manager Flo always has a smile and a warm welcome as do all the staff .... makes you feel you are in a little shop in France :)) I worked near Fulham a long time ago and I believe they have another outpost there too.

Walked the Uxbridge Road looking for a birthday cake and found this lovely, guessing family run place. As well as the great ambiance of the cafe (Moroccan breakfast looked particularly enticing). They provided great service and wonderful reasonably priced cake, even volunteering to make the personalised message. Mum was particularly happy on her 97th birthday. Would recommend this to anyone, both cafe and cakes 🎂

Wow...new owners so just looking to see how things changed. Went near closing time so choice was limited. Had a takeaway away pistachio croissant for £3.50. Amazing. 10/10. Divine. And the price is so reasonable. Can't wait to go back.

This is the second incarnation of this space I have dined in - the previous was called the Gilbert Scott. This time the venue seems calmer and quieter - a rare thing for London restaurants these days. Soft furnishing and comfy deep seating - we stayed to chat after our coffee was long gone. But I found the menu a bit of a challenge - probably down to me but nothing really shone out so I end up with a starter and a further starter for main. It seemed to all work ok. So all in all a pleasant place with a little work needed on the menu. Staff seemed busy and a bit distracted.

As someone who is gluten-free, this was my go to place to treat myself to a proper cake that also anyone else could also eat. So I went yesterday to treat myself only to be told that they have changed chef and now none of the fancy cakes in the window are gluten free. So so disappointed, I've even had a birthday cake made by them in the past.

Lovely hidden gem. Friendly service, welcomed us and our children. Provided chalk for our kids to draw on the slate tables which was a novelty they loved. Excellent quality food - I had the choucroute which had a great selection of meat. Also one diner had a gluten intolerance and the team had a fantastic understanding of what this was and were very accommodating. Will happily go again.
