Cocotte Notting Hill in City of London, Westminster

A hugely positive experience thanks to Albie and her team. A really warm welcome from Albie (it was super cold outside, we didn’t have a reservation, and my children were growly hungry, but she magically accommodated us). The atmosphere is very London trendy, the staff were super helpful and polite, the food was EXCELLENT. Albie and her team are a real gem find. I highly recommend Cocotte, Westbourne Groce, London.

Lovely restaurant very cosy, very busy. Waiting staff very attentive and welcoming. So let down with the food it was very well presented but to say it was luke warm is an under statement. We expected Rotisserie chicken straight from the spit but the chicken was warm on the outside and cold in the middle. Very nicely presented vegetables but again cold.

Noen ganger, spesielt når man har vært på reisefot lenge og spist veldig variert godt mat så har man bare lyst på enkel og god kylling og da besøker man denne restauranten. Vi bestilte en halv kylling, Green Goddess salat og potetstappe med truffels og alt smakte kjempe godt. Kyllingen var mør og god, vi bestilte bare vanlig jus fra kyllingen til som også var utmerket, salaten var veldig god og sprø og potetstappa hadde akkurat passe tryffelsmak . Kan anbefale dette stedet når du har lyst på god og ujålete mat.

I am a fairly regular customer in the Notting Hill restaurant and I am sad to see that two of my favorite menu items (the wings and the green herb sauce) are not on your menu anymore. I hope you bring them back soon.

Let me start off by saying the food was delicious. The service upon arrival was perfect. The service after the food arrived was sub par and that is being generous. They forgot one of our sides, and they never came once to the table until it was time to clear the plates so we did not have the opportunity to ask the server where our missing side was. We had to wait another 20 minutes before my wife flagged down someone to ask for the bill. Of course the missing side was on the bill which they promptly removed. The issue is they have so many mobile orders that it distracts them from providing acceptable service to their in house patrons. The atmosphere is great and as I said the food was superb. I feel bad leaving this review and hope others fair better than we did. I would give this place a second chance if I ever happen to be in London again

My 3rd time at Cocotte and I’m disappointed to report that the food was not up to the mark. The last time I went was 4years ago and we loved it. The rotisserie chicken today was dry and felt old. It reminded me of average chicken you pick up at a regular supermarket (that’s been sitting for a bit). The truffle mash, garlic mayo and kale salad were good though. We travelled 45mins for this meal and it cost just over £50 for the two of us. Disappointed…

I went into this restaurant to see if it was any better than branch at South Ken and was pleasantly surprised! Its mainly a chicken joint though I love chicken. Only thing that put me off was all the extra charges including charges for sauce and homeless charity as well as service charge! I'm not denying those homeless people a happy Christmas so paid it willingly. But all the charges together mean that you're £7.00 out of pocket before you even eat anything. Most French restaurants in the Westminster/Chelsea area are the same!

I was due to take my partner here for a special dinner, just before proposing. I got an email 4 hours before (my reservation had been in place for a week) saying my reservation had been cancelled. When I rang the person told me they had had an issue with their booking system for a while and not fixed it. For some reason that meant they were cancelling my special dinner hours before we were due. We couldn't do any earlier as we were seeing a show so we ended up losing our dinner plans. I can't imagine worse customer service.

Je m’attendais à beaucoup mieux. Bon accueil du serveur, le reste du personnel était froid et occupé avec les commandes à emporter. La décoration est agréable et les plats bons mais sans plus. Il faisait froid car la porte est sans cesse ouverte pour les livraisons des commandes à emporter. Desserts miniatures j’étais étonnée et suis ressortie en ayant encore faim, ça m’a surpris car jusqu’ici j’ai trouvé les portions généreuses dans les autres restaurants visités. Impossible de payer par carte, problème de connexion du TPE et si tu ne peux pas payer avec apple pay on te regarde comme un ovni. Bref il y a beaucoup mieux
