Le Paris Grill in City of London, Westminster

I went to Paris Grill this evening with some work colleagues as a farewell treat for my retirement. All of the staff we're very attentive but not over the top. Their service was top notch. I chose the Steak tartare, which was prepared at the table by Didier, and it was superb. My colleagues all enjoyed their food too, including the wine from a quite extensive and reasonably priced cave. The ambience was very business like but still very pleasant. The waiting staff were extremely polite and efficient. Overall a very enjoyable experience. Price wise very reasonable. Would I recommend Paris Grill to others? Most definitely. If I was pushed to find a fault with anything, it would be that we didn't have linen napkins, but that is just nit picking. We had a lovely evening so my rating would have to be a 9.99/10

This place is famous for their steak sandwiches 🥪! The place was packed during lunch and the ambience was lovely. Would return again for the ambience.

A true classic of the London Market and truly impeccable in terms of quality and service. The steak tartare is a particular delight.

The time before this visit was just before Christmas and I was very disappointed that the normal menu had been replaced by a Christmas menu. We visited yesterday and I am pleased to report that my faith has been restored! The full menu was available - I started with the onion soup which was good and then Didier's steak tartae which was really first class

Paris Grill has two go to dishes from my perspective. When I called to book a table I asked if the onion soup and steak tater were still featured and i was assured yes. When we arrived and was shown a menu both dishes were missing!!! It was recommended that we eat the turkey special as this was a substantial lunch - I actually thought that we received a child’s portion. The Christmas pudding was good though!!!

I came here for lunch and had the famous steak sandwich which was rather bland. I've had far better ones in chain pubs. Perhaps I was just unlucky though as everyone else seemed to be enjoying theirs.

If your are beef lover or lamb & salmon lover this is the place with perfect vibe. Live retro music and wine.

Beautiful Steak Sandwich with fries and a coke. I had the take out option as I was working but very nice and will try to visit the restaurant when I'm in the area again. Parking meters are close by.

I've been to a couple of tribute nights. Good fun. The food was extremely good for what was paid food BUT they put an additional charge on drinks even if you go to the bar, and on any drinks. A bottle of wine will cost you more than on the menu. Got to make their money some how I guess but why not just put it on the price, at least that way I'd feel less ripped off

A group of us visit this venue fairly regularly to see a tribute act, such an enjoyable event. This is a little gem of a place, quite Art Deco in appearance. Very friendly, efficient and polite staff, excellent facilities, spotlessly clean. The food is excellent, I never particularly expect much from a set menu but the food here will not disappoint, I highly recommend the salmon! Not forgetting the cocktails! The acoustics here are also great! A thoroughly enjoyable evening, now a regular In our diary. Will be back in November!

Always busy and lively. Service is excellent and the food is delicious.

Very disappointed with this place. The service was very slow and all over the place. They looked massively understaffed with only 3 waitresses serving the room from what I could see. That said, the waitress we had was very good but was never going to be able to provide the service you’d expect with a restaurant so busy. One of the main courses arrived 10 minutes after the others (which had to be chased), and they missed part of the order as well which we had to remind them off. Worst of all was the steak tartare. It’s a dish I love and often select this when eating out. I have to say that this was just the worst ever - a pile of mush with an awful texture and tasted just as bad. It was as though they had put this in a blender and left it for a few days. I actually started feeling ill a few hours afterwards and didn’t feel right until the following day.

Lovely place in the City, perfect for a long Thursday lunch. Great steak sandwiches and fries and a feta tarte that hits the spot. Tony is an incredible host.

A step back in time. This is a really good lunch spot in the City. Decent wine list, an interesting menu and very good service. The steak sandwich is a triumph.

Amazing night out, Jersey Boys were a great act

Classic joint in the city for some Steak and Chips and wine. Great location and somewhat an institution. Only rated average as food took so long to come, they must have missed the ticket. I raised it at the restaurant a d they said sorry food will be 2m. 35m later it came out and there was no apology when paying the bill. Will give another try.

A work lunch. Great surroundings and an incredible risotto.

Excellent experience. Due to the Art Deco mirrors around the bar, the stage and small dance floor area visible - it felt like the 1930s. Wonderful place with a great busy atmosphere and occasional events on stage. I only give the service 4 stars as we were never asked if we wanted more drinks at the table. I always feel a restaurant should for top service as it saves chasing or asking

This is my go-to for client lunches in the city. A glass of claret and the steak sandwich (with fries) is simple, quick...the perfect lunch.

Steak sandwich restaurant I would say as it seemed like people ordering only that menu. Food was not impressive but good enough to enjoy and the adequate number of waitresses were attentive to customers. Fantastic! Wonderful service and the food was exceptional. We were fortunately also treated to some entertainment, with a very good Jersey Boys tribute act. A wonderful night.

Food was a bit under seasoned and took a while to deliver during the lunch rush. But the experience is excellent and food was good, but expensive for what we got.

Just left after seeing mr rob lamberti as george michael, well what a hidden gem this place is, the decor is amazing and the food was lovely and all the staff are so friendly as is the manager, will def be coming back again 🤗

A good place to take clients albeit noisy. The food was good. Service was OK. The staff were friendly and polite but possibly needed a little more training. Would have been nice to have been given the dessert menu and asked if wanted coffees. Saying this I would go back. Great location.

Food was good, as always, and service was prompt.

Good food and a great ambience for meeting friends or clients. Risotto rice was left a bit crispy, but everyone seemed to really enjoy their food.

Amazing location for lunch in the city. Try the steak sandwich and fries is so good but many other great options on the menu. The staff were great and supremely efficient. The different dinning area give the opportunity for both intimate and business style dinning.

Brilliant food ,very friendly staff and lovely atmosphere not cheap but worth the money. I was there for a company party so was not paying but know people who have been on their accord and they have been extremely pleased. Would highly recommend.

Had the xmas party here. Would have got 4 stars if a aged single malt whisky was available instead of 10 years.

Terrible service. Clearly not a venue for larger groups. Some tables left waiting while others had had two courses. At the end of the night the balding “manager” (had no concept of customer service) told us the bar was closed, which was to explain why our drinks has been taken away. Awful considering what we paid.

A return to a favourite restaurant. Clients both enjoyed their skate/bass. Wine went down a treat! Win win!!

Large portions and tasty food but service was poor

I went with work colleagues for a team lunch and was recommended to have the steak sandwich. I have to say it was delicious, tender rare steak (even though I asked for medium rare but they are french) sandwiched between toasted white bread and a plate of crispy skinny chips, simple but so tasty. I will definitely be going back for more steak and chips.

On Holiday from the U.S. Stopped by there on the way to our VRBO and stayed for 3 hours one night. One of the most enjoyable places we've ever visited. Great atmosphere . . . great drinks. . . great pricing . . . great music. Went back the next day for lunch and it was even better!

Visité Paris Grill el martes y tuve un día encantador. El restaurante estaba lleno y se sentía cómodo pero espacioso. El ambiente amigable y relajado pero inteligente. Muchos chicos en almuerzos de negocios. Nuestras comidas eran de primera clase, muchas cosas encantadoras en el menú y la comida era muy sabrosa y cocinada a la perfección. No me puedo quejar del servicio. No puedo esperar para comer allí de nuevo!

Reservé una mesa para la noche de homenaje, he visto a Rob antes pero no en Paris Grill, pero otras mujeres trabajan cerca y he estado en Rob homenaje aquí antes y lo recomiendo.Estaba sentado rápidamente, ordenó entrantes y platos principales que fueron llevados a la mesa en silencio rápido. . . . las bebidas no tan rápidas tuvieron que perseguir y se encontraron sentadas al final del bar. . . .La comida era sabrosa y bien presentada, y fue disfrutada por todos.Tuve que esperar aproximadamente una hora antes de ofrecer la opción de menú de budín. . . . y nadie preguntó si queríamos más bebidas? El servicio fue un poco impredecible. . . . y no estaba lleno cuando se sentó por primera vez.El espectáculo fue excelente como era de esperar si has visto a Rob / George antes.Recomendaría . . . Un lugar frecuentado mucho por mis colegas y yo. Buena comida tradicional francesa con una excelente carta de vinos, que tiene un precio razonable teniendo en cuenta la naturaleza de la clientela y la zona. También hay un área más para comer bocadillos de carne, etc. para las personas que necesitan una comida más rápida. Una innovación relativamente nueva en el piso de arriba y que bien merece una visita.

Love this place...very friendly and attentive staff but not too attentive. Would highly recommend their steak sandwich...its amazing and the toasted steak the best I've ever had in between two slices of bread..and I've had far too many for one person. Always find me a table even at their busiest times but would always suggest pre-booking as I probably get a table because I'm a regular customer. Limited menu and not suitable for veggies or vegans. Each dish is delicious. Highly recommended.

Two old friends and former work colleagues meeting for a catch-up weekday lunch. As you would expect, reasonably busy restaurant on first floor mainly full of business lunch clientele. While the food is solid fare, it was not inspired and perhaps reflects the demands of the City clients. Not unduly expensive by local standards. Service was fine although the only side dish ordered with the main course did not appear and while its omission was immediately advised to the waiting staff it took too long to be produced (simple dish of sautéed spinach). 2 glasses of an adequate Merlot, 2 pints of Peroni, 1 tomato soup, one pan fried Scallops (tasty but pretty modest portion size), 2 mains being the special of the day, Beef Bourguignon + 1 side and 1 large Expresso = £78.90 + 12.5% service = £88.76.

Quality of food is excellent and the staff really attentive. This has become a regular choice of restaurant for me on trips to London.

Awful customer service! I went here last night and have to say I have not received such terrible customer service in a very long time. I ordered a steak sandwich and can only describe this as a thin bit of meat between two slices of toast, a bit of salad and a plate full of fries. I was not able to gain the attention of any waiting staff as I was not given a knife and fork or follow up service with which to ask for any condiments. I had to ask the girl making cocktails behind the bar for a napkin and some manager/owner for some ketchup. Not once did any waiting staff ask if I was enjoying my meal, in fact I don't think I ever saw any of them smile! I asked to pay my bill, this was duly delivered and I was then left waiting, and waiting, and waiting...The same cocktail waitress (the only staff member with the ability to smile) asked if I wanted to pay seeing me stood there for ages. I replied that I would but on no way was I going to pay the added service charge! The bare faced cheek, to add a service charge when there was no customer service! Appalling! Yes the music, the people dancing seemed to be enjoying themselves, but honestly you could not pay me enough to go back here!

Went there for Christmas lunch. Service was friendly and efficient, food was very good, my rib eye steak was cooked perfectly and the cheesecake was fantastic too. Recommended.

Great steak sandwich and good atmosphere

Tuvimos una reunión en la ciudad y nos llevaron aquí después. Muy bien decorada, una habitación luminosa que pronto se llenó de comensales principalmente masculinos, se volvió bastante ruidosa. Este no es un lugar para una comida acogedora para dos, en el momento de la lucha es más para reuniones de negocios. El servicio fue muy bueno, creo que se dieron cuenta de que no teníamos prisa donde otros comensales comían en una hora. Todo el personal amable, especialmente el maître.

Steak sandwich was perfect for a Friday afternoon business lunch

I have been a couple of times for lunch meetings to this venue over the summer. On both occasions we were seated at the tables by the bar on the first floor. The service is swift and friendly, and the lunch menus are nice - sandwiches, burgers, f&c;, etc. They have a good selection of wines.

Gutes Essen in einer netten Atmosphäre. Freundliche Bedingungen und ein guter Service. Besonders zu empfehlen ist das Steak Tartar.
