Traditional feeling French restaurant just off Covent Garden. Staff were lovely and made the birthday man feel special. Food was a mixed bag of ok and yummy.

We feasted. Beef bourguignon for my husband, Israeli couscous for me, fish and chips for my daughters (ultra fresh and tender) and a children's menu. Everything was fresh, melting. Impeccable service. We are pleasantly surprised.

We had a great expereince at dinner afte seeing The Lion King. The restaurant has a convenient location. The restaurant staff was lovely and friendly and the food absolutely delicious. Me and out child shared the mussels and the risotto and I can highly recommend both.

Went for an evening meal, it was bank holiday when we visited and it wasn’t busy we got to enjoy the atmosphere. The food isn’t that expensive for the location. The food served is full of flavour. We had steak and I was amazing.

My and my mother visited for my birthday and we were given a very warm welcome and a nice happy birthday on arrival. The service was amazing and food was very hot and delicious. This is our first visit here and we will definitely be returning. Thank you to all the staff

As part of my wife’s special birthday celebrations, we had booked a pre-theatre dinner. We were welcomed and received birthday congratulations immediately on arrival. Our designated waiter, Davide, was attentive, helpful and extremely personable throughout our visit. All the staff were very professional and responsive to the clientele around us. The food was excellent , both in choices and quality. A thoroughly enjoyable evening. We plan to return very soon!

Have been to Palm Court Brasserie on many occasions and would recommend for reasonable prices, atmosphere and location. Unfortunately last night I ordered veal escalope and it was tough as old boots, left most of it. Disappointing but other than that a thoroughly enjoyable evening

Absolutely faultless in every way. Stumbled across this place in October 2023 and wanted to return as it was so good then, and it was just as good if not better this time.

I had dinner with a friend of mine. The decor is beautiful, the staff is very efficient and nice and the food delicious. The 50% off offer is amazing! We had onion soup and smoked salmon to start followed by sea bass and mushroom risotto. The food was delicious and served quickly. If I really want to find negative points...there was not much space at the table and the neighbours were too close. A slice of bread or toast with the smoked salmon would have greatly been appreciated! I was craving for a hot apple tart ...but sadly it was not on offer. Overall, we had a lovely experience and we will go back again. Thank you very much.

We were so happy that we could do a spontaneous walk in and be able to find a table. The atmosphere was amazing and the staff were very friendly. We had the salad with goat cheese and brie in filo as a starters, and both were delicious. For mains, we had coq au vin and beef bourguignon which were delicious. A creme brulee was the best choice to end our dinner. We would definitely go again and we would highly recommend this lovely brasserie!!!

We were seated at nice cozy spot. Service and food was fabulous as usual. Lovely hostess and front of the house manager who showed us to our table.

Post Theatre dinner at the Palm Court. Great place to go before or after the theatre. Suggest you book as it is very popular. I can thoroughly recommend the Beef Borginoin. Prices are more than reasonable for the area.

Best waiter ever. Arrived late and I only had 40 minutes to finish eating before the opera started. My waiter made sure we were served quickly and made payment soon after. No compromise on the food either! Delicious and value for money

We came to Palm Court for my friends 60th birthday. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. All the staff were very welcoming and the food was fantastic.

I have frequented this restaurant many times. The food is lovely and reasonably priced for London. We normally have the theatre menu with a choice of two or three courses. The staff are always attentive (but not too much) friendly and helpful. I can’t really fault it for good food and a relaxed French atmosphere.

Great food, and fast service which was good as we had theatre tickets that evening. I thought the menu included some interesting dishes. We both had the Cassulet which was delicious.

There were 7 of us and without waiting too long I managed to organize ourselves to seat us. Nice atmosphere with large prints of vintage Italian advertisements, the food was all good. I definitely recommend the classic fish & chips. The service was fast and attentive.

Had a pre theatre dinner at Palm Court Brasserie and the venue and ambience were very Parisian. The pre theatre menu was great - good value, good sized portions, quick and excellent quality. Boeuf bourguinon was particularly good. Will definitely come back.

Went on the off chance that we could have a pre theatre meal having had a great experience here a few weeks ago. Mateja the manager was amazing, kind, thoughtful and miraculously squeezed us in when the place was heaving. The staff were polite, service excellent, food just superb. This is definitely the place to go but will make sure we book ahead next time to ensure a table.

Walked past Palm Court Brasserie many times, but went in today and found it excellent - the antithesis of the more touristy places around Covent Garden. We enjoyed bouillabaisse, mushroom risotto etc, but it was the service levels that caught our eye across the tables - attentive but not intrusive. David was excellent. Could become a favourite for return visits.

Probably our favourite London restaurant overall, to be fair. A perfect mix of outstanding food, complete consistency of quality, great service and great value for money. We attend as a couple at least once a month and have never been disappointed, whether the steak, fish, lamb, duck or anything else, it’s always of the highest order. The slight aggravation is that there are so many tables packed in so it’s hot and cramped, but I’ll take it if it means amazing food and drink.

What a lovely surprise! There are loads of French-style brasseries in London, but this one is a cut above. The Boeuf Bourgignon was tasty and tender, the Cassoulet was copious without being heavy, the poached pear was tasty and light, the Piedmonte Pinot Noir had a nice round flavour, and even the Tapenade was nicely flavoured without being overwhelming. The atmosphere and service were also lovely. I would definitely go back!

This place is a gem. We ate there on a crowded Saturday lunchtime and were totally bowled over by the food and the service. Mushroom risottos were superb, as was the bouillabaisse; desserts were lovely; and service from Davide was brilliant - he was always around when we needed something, and never in the way when we didn’t. Totally recommend this place, and will definitely go again.

It was my first visit to this restaurant. We were having lunch for a friend's birthday. The service and food were exemplary. When they brought out the dessert, they had put a candle in it and gave her a card signed by all the staff. This was so unexpected and a beautiful surprise. Such a little thing made a huge impact. I will never forget it. Bravo!

We came here last night as a walk in with no reservation. The staff fitted us in, the restaurant to be fair was packed. For starters I had the French onion soup, my partner kept herself for mains. For mains I had the fillet, my partner er the chicken. Food was excellent and well worth it. What a gem of a restaurant. We both had wine, again great quality. Will definitely visit again when we come back to London

four of us went for lunch. The table we were shown to was next to a noisy group so I asked if we could have a different table, as my mother in law has trouble hearing. The waitress was very kind and we were given a choice of tables. The food was all very good - well cooked and presented. The choice is wide and the 50%offer on food makes it excellent value, particularly for such a good location. The wines are also very reasonably priced. We have been a number of times, always had a good meal and will definitely return.

We arrived a little early for our booked time and had to wait in the doorway for our table - no bar or seating area. We were shown to our table in the bustling restaurant and seated next to two tables with loudly spoken diners. We ordered drinks from a friendly waitress - a bottle of house red, good quality and value - which soon arrived. We next ordered our food - all three courses - each arrived at appropriate intervals. We both had the baked brie starter, which we enjoyed. Next to arrive was my Beef Bourguignon and my friend's Salmon (fish of the day), which we also enjoyed. I didn't note from the menu that bread was extra. I'm used to French restaurants where there is a constant supply of bread essential to mop up the delicious sauces. We concluded with ice cream which had sat in the warm before being served as it was starting to melt. We enjoyed the experience, although we also became loudly spoken to be heard above fellow diners! the service was very good, as was the value. We would happily return.

My wife and I came as a wedding anniversary treat, and it certainly was a treat from start to finish. We were welcomed by the charming Davide who ensured we had the perfect table. We were then looked after by lovely Kimberley, who took our food order and brought our drinks promptly. Our food arrived at just the right time, and was served freshly cooked at the perfect temperature. French onion soup was delicious ,generously portioned, and with a sumptuous layer of melted gruyère. The salmon fillet with roasted veg was of a similar high standard as were our sides of beans and tender stem. Our only regret was that we had no room for dessert. At the end of our meal just before we left we were given an anniversary card signed by all staff. That was a lovely touch and crowned a memorable experience at the Palm Court Brasserie.We will certainly be back.

Very good food, particularly the coq au vin and the beef bourguignon. The moules frites were very good too. One minor issue was that there were a lot of little flies in the restaurant which they really need to sort out

Booked a pre theatre meal at 5.30. Service was quick without feeling rushed, we were out by 7pm perfect for walk to local theatres. We had pre theatre menu, food was great, menu could have had another choice on it. Full menu looked good. We will return.

The meal was OK although a bit disappointing inasmuch there wasn't anything particularly different or 'wow' about the food, and the dauphenoise were very dry so had to leave them. It was perfectly nice - but I expected more considering the reviews. The staff wer very attentive although perhaps a bit 'too much' as it was difficult to keep a conversation sometimes with lots of fussing.

Traditional bistro style restaurant with a good choice of classics on the menu. I think the food is excellent value and is always consistent - I have been a regular over many years now.

One of the best restaurants I've ever been to. The staff are exceptionally professional and very friendly. The food is on the same level. Everything from the kitchen was homemade. They even use plate warmers in the kitchen so the food does not cool too quickly during eating. Wait to eat there again.

Lovely bustling French restaurant had lunch here and it was great, fantastic atmosphere and very good service. Not too long to wait the food was excellent and very tasty we both had the fillet steak which was cooked to perfection! Would recommend this restaurant.

One of the party ordered fillet steak but was given steak + frites instead. She was offered to have this replaced but we had theatre booked and other mains arrived so we didn't. We were charged for steak + frites and not the more expensive option so no harm but she was very disappointed.

A very French Brasserie experience, food was classic Brasserie Style , for us a pre theatre dinner @ 5.30pm yesterday. 2 courses with Wine, Great table , the service was exceptional as you would expect , From the welcome at the door to leaving the attention was spot on , Antonella did a really good job taking care of of our table which completed the experience , Gary & Gina
