Café Sou in City of London, Westminster

Olvídese de los lugares de desayuno más formales en The Ned, vaya al Café Sou escondido en la esquina. El personal es totalmente encantador y la oferta de desayuno es fabulosa. Tortillas recién hechas con una variedad de rellenos, ollas de granola caseras y una variedad de pasteles, todo regado con excelente café y jugos cítricos recién exprimidos. ¡Podría comenzar mi día allí todos los días!

Fuimos a tomar algo al trabajo. El Ned es impresionante pero cavernoso afortunadamente encontramos la mesa de la esquina perfecta en cafe sou. El personal era encantador, tranquilamente atento y profesional. Nos trataron impecablemente y sus recomendaciones fueron acertadas: este es mi nuevo lugar favorito en la ciudad.

Soy un cliente habitual en The Ned, me encanta ir a este lugar para reuniones cortas. Estar en la puerta de la estación del Banco lo pone en un buen lugar.

Sensationeller Cafe, insbesonderes die Marrenca die Maschine. Hätte ich früher gewusst, dass hinter den unscheinbaren Türen solch eine Perlen Cafe/Restaurant ist, wäre ich früher gekommen.

Un personal increíblemente amigable y servicial (¡gracias Melanie!) Y DE - LI - CIOUS pain au pasas (hecho en el local) en un ambiente interesante / no corriente (ver foto) hacen de Cafe Sou el lugar perfecto coloque el café para la última hora de la mañana (o más tarde, pero los pasteles se irán). ¡Justo lo que esta ciudad necesitaba!

Just in love ! I’ve heard about this amazing place call the Ned from a friend. As a French food lover I’ve directly made my way to Cafe Sou .. ..Surpise ! Fresh baguette, classic French boulangerie food don’t forget the service.. a pretty French manager :) I’ve made my choice.. Quiche Lorraine today. Don’t disappointed at all, actually really tasty surprise! Will definitely recommend this place Thanks for the great service and atmosphere, I’ll be back soon ! Becky

Great spot if you need to grab a quick sandwich or meeting in the City and don't want to sit in Prêt or Starbucks. The sandwiches are typical french baguettes with meats and french cheeses and the service is fast and courteous. The environment is simply wonderful.

the food is quite nice, as is the ambiance (besides the strong odour of burnt smoke that one is assailed by as one enters the hall), and whilst i understand a 12.5% service charge levied on a table service, i object to finding this has been added to a meal that i have had to walk to the counter for, and for which i have had to fetch my own water; won't be returning

Have discovered Café Sou during a recent visit to The Ned, the new bespoke hotel in the city of London. My office is based fairly close to the site, so I have made my way there after work and brought a couple of friends along to check it out. The place is simply stunning; high ceilings throughout its premises, featured by original green marbled pillars and wood panelling walls. I haven't had the chance to view any room but I was amazed by the quantity of restaurants which can certainly satisfy everyone's taste with different types of cuisine. Our attention was caught by Cafè Sou, a casual but nevertheless tasty French restaurant hidden in a corner of the main lobby which makes it even more intimate and cosy. Their display is various, from typical pastries to a good variety of baguettes and omelettes. Within moments, a gentleman approached us and introduced himself as the restaurant manager, whose name I recall was Jean. He walked us through the menu and soon turned out to be a highly knowledgeable and passionate individual. He recommended us to try their wine bar tastings with an impressive selection of charcuterie (to die for!) The overall experience was more than positive. The team members were also well appointed, accommodating and extremely polite. We will visit again soon!

I have been to café sou at the Ned, about one week ago with some friends, it was our first time and we had a very good time!! We ordered a cheese and deli meat board with some wine, everything was great including the service, the staff is nice and friendly, and the place is incredible! I would definitely recommend the place either for a date, a family or friends or even work meeting! Maïna

I went to the Ned last Friday with a few friends and fell in love with this Cafe Sou. Excellent atmosphere, food and drinks. The management and staff were so nice and elegant. Very happy to have discovered such a gem in London. I will definitely come back!

The place is amazing in general but Café Sou is this little cozy and cute corner with an amazing team looking after you and and serving great snacks and drinks to enjoy with friends ! Will come back asap, thanks guys :)

Very disappointed that the staff let down what otherwise would've been a beautiful venue. We were asked to move seats in the cafe as the seat we were in was supposedly reserved for people eating, not just having coffee. We were aggressively told to move two seats down to an identical table - no one else sat in the original the whole time. Seemed pointless Secondly, the second my empty cup hit the saucer the cup was snatched away and the bill placed on the table. This created an awkward atmosphere as I'd been hoping to stay and relax for a while. As a member of Soho house and a few other members clubs in London I was hoping to tour the facilities and considering joining the Ned. I went downstairs to view the members restaurant and the famous bank vault and was blocked and turned away - not allowed to even look. Same situation with the rooftop bar, I went to check it out and was very rudely turned away. There is absolutely no way I will be giving these people my money.

A brilliant casual dining experience with great food and service, the lamb chops and black cod are to die for, and I would highly recommend the fantastic salads
