As someone who is gluten-free, this was my go to place to treat myself to a proper cake that also anyone else could also eat. So I went yesterday to treat myself only to be told that they have changed chef and now none of the fancy cakes in the window are gluten free. So so disappointed, I've even had a birthday cake made by them in the past.

We have been going here since it opened and it seems that they are struggling to get or keep serving staff out front. New person every time and cannot do simple maths of adding the cost of two drinks together to put in the tap and pay machine. It’s still very lovely but with their prices going up and front of house constant changes, they can’t take their eye off the ball right now.

I have been coming to this little coffee and cake shop since it opened. The front of house staff seem to be changing regularly which means that they are slow and don’t prioritise. But the coffee and teas seem to be the same high quality as ever.

The nice decor and very friendly staff provided a pleasing traditional coffee shop ambiance, but the cappuccino was really quite bitter. I might well go again though and try a cup of tea with a slice of cake.

Kingston is full of chain cafes so it was a pleasure to discover an independent one. The coffee & cakes are perfection. We had a delicious lemon tart & an apricot one - all homemade on the premises. The owner was delightful ..... as relative newcomers to Kingston we'll be making a point of returning regularly.

We are staying near Hampton Court Palace and have walked along the Thames to Kingston. The 5km walk is easy and flat. This coffee place is located near the main bridge and is perfect place to sit and cool down. There is lots of seating inside and it’s not crammed together. I had a vanilla latte and Janet a chilled latte. The cakes here are a specially and we ate our share. Mine was a famous French patisserie created for the bike race from Paris to Brest. Some summers ago we watched this race. It’s a small world. The chef who makes all the cakes, took great delight in sharing his stories of cooking in France with me. What a delightful place.

Went there today with my niece, we greeted the waiter (maybe owner, I don't know, he was the only one there) and given we saw a sign saying "more seating upstairs", we went up, he saw us go up. After a while, I went down to order, and he said "the seating upstairs is not open". Question 1: why didn't he tell us when he SAW US go upstairs? (the toilet is downstairs, so he can't think we were going there). Question 2: why didn't he leave a sign stating the upstairs area is closed, but, the only sign there says "seating upstairs available"??? Then, both coffees were NO GOOD. Hers, a flat white, mine, a latte. She said hers didn't taste like a flat white, as for my latte, it tasted AWFUL, I left most of it. The croissant was average. When I went to pay (at the beginning) he wouldn't give me a receipt (I was paying in cash) and said "we don't give receipts"???? Next time someone tells me that, I'll walk straight out. Don't understand what the raving reviews are about, maybe the cakes are good (we didn't have them), the coffee was decidedly BAD. Maybe when they went there was another person serving.. I will NOT set foot there again. With so many nice cafes in Kingston, who needs to repeat a bad experience?!?

I discovered this coffee shop last week when I met a friend in Kingston for the first time since the start of Covid. It is superb. Their patisserie is incredible. I had great difficulty deciding which one to choose. I eventually picked a lemon meringue pie, which is one of my favourites. The layout was welcoming and the owner and the service was friendly and efficient. The owner is originally from Algeria, but he went to France as a child and is now in Kingston. We started off talking in English and then just slipped into French at some point. I will certainly come again. I host on Couchsurfing and it is definitely a place to which I would like to take my visitors.

This place was a lockdown discovery and only just writing a review. Amza the French owner used to be a chef in Mayfair I think. He’s French, and he knows how to make pastries that are works of art. My girlfriend’s favourite has about 5 different layers of taste (name begins with C but can't remeber the name). The Eclat Framboise and Black Forest slice are fantastic. Very partial to the Pain au Raisin too. There are hand made chcoloates too. In fact everything is hand made. But it is the lemon tart every time for me. Perfect pastry, and just the right level of tartness. Does not matter how many of these things I eat (and I have had a lot), they still wow me. They explode off your tatsebuds. The service here is always friendly, it’s a classy piece of France in Kingston, and I could not recommend it highly enough. I have to ration myself now!

The quality of the cakes is top notch, nowhere else comes close. I come from Paris and this is the real sophisticated taste of home!I have ordered a large cake for a celebration before, all you need is a quick chat with Hamza the owner and pastry chef, and this Christmas I will be ordering a praline Christmas log . We have been going to this shop for 2 years since it first opened, and I have nothing but compliments to give: coffee's good, cakes are fabulous, service is quick with a smile. A gem that we need to keep open.

We were aware of this cafe but had never visited until yesterday, on a cold, miserable, wet Tuesday. The staff were smiling and welcoming, the ambience was cosy and comfortable and...the coffee! Probably one of the best cups of coffee we have ever tasted without a doubt. I also chose a slice of lemon tart which was fresh, tangy and delicious. Will definitely be spreading the word and visiting again.

Well located patisserie, just a half minute from John Lewis. Very easy to find. The most delicious patisserie I think I’ve ever had from a French Trained Patissier. It’s a very friendly place with plenty of tables. There are tables upstairs too. The best I’ve ever had in my life and I’ve spent many holidays in France. Lovely window display and plenty of room for pushchairs. You can tell they have a passion for patisserie and the Patissier came to my table to enquire whether I was enjoying it. What a lovely gesture. This place is a real find and you won’t be disappointed. They serve English Breakfast tea too.Just perfect.

I visited Les 3 Patisserie on a Tuesday afternoon whilst in Kingston. There’s a lovely display of the cakes in the window and the cafe was very busy. Service was pretty good and the prices were about average.

Forget spotted dick and sticky toffee pudding. A fine French pastry is a delight--not too heavy, but deeply satisfying. An explosion of flavor with each bite. And at the end you feel as if your treat has been just the right size.Patisserie Les Trois Chocolats brings the best of fine French pastry shops to Kingston. The window display showcases all the fine desserts. The shop serves sandwiches, too (and tell them they should have a bigger breakfast and lunch selection), as well as tea and coffee. Stop in for a pastry break while running errands in town, as I did, and you will want to return tomorrow and the next day, too.As fine pastries go, the prices are normal; especially when you consider the cost of ingredients and the amount of hand labor that goes into each. If your reference point is the ubiquitous chain pastry and bread store, you may be stunned by the prices. Try one, and you will understand why you want to spend that much.

This is our second visit to this establishment and unfortunately it was worse than our 1st visit, not because of the lovely staff and beautiful coffee and supreme cakes, but because of the intrusive music, it may be a matter of personal taste but it was not appropriate for us so we could not Finnish and leave, shame really as we will come again but if they are playing the same Edith Piaf sounding music we won’t be back, not that we disrespect her, but this is not to our taste.

Called in with my wife to give this new Patisserie a try. We only wanted a drink so I cannot comment on the food or the delicious looking cakes. I had a cappuccino which was very good. My wife had a hot chocolate which to be honest looked and tasted like lukewarm milk.Had it not been for the very slow service we would have complained. I realize that this place has just opened but more training needs to be given to the two young girls that were serving. I might also point out that while we were there two people walked out due to the slow service and they were next in the queue.
