We stayed here just after it was refurbished and reopened and gave it a glowing review. We have revisited a couple of times since then, and each time we say that we won't return as it just cannot get any better. And each time it does. The rooms are beautiful and spotless, and the beer perfectly kept. Having drunk 'Butty Bach' for over 20 years, this was the finest I've ever tasted. The service is impeccable with the waiting staff perfectly trained. The pairing of wines with each dish (small, medium or large glasses) is inspired, allowing us to have different dishes and different wines for each course. The food itself is some of the finest that we eaten in the UK. Exceptional. And the same staff are there from the first time we visited, which in a trade known for staff turnover is remarkable. It's an exquisite experience, but we won't go back - because it won't be as good. Will it.....? It probably will be, because it has been every time. Many thanks.
We celebrated at the ESC on 7th March. What a memorable evening. It exceeded my expectations. Tobias was a great host, showcasing several courses of exciting food, which was all delicious, with fresh vegetables from his allotment and I loved his zero waste approach to food, it was all truly amazing. We met some fabulous people and all had a great night to remember. We will be going again.

An amazing surprise for my 60th birthday. We were met by the owners and driven round the farm by John and his sidekick. They introduced us to the beautiful animals and told us their stories, knowing each ones name. We got out of the car many times to stroke the cows. At the end we were shown the magnificent bulls and had the opportunity to groom and walk a cow. We then saw the other animals and fed a lamb its bottle.
The visit ended with a warm drink and a huge slice of the most delicious carrot cake(others available)in the cosy tearoom.

Fantastic pub only had drinks on previous visits but today we had made a Sunday lunch time booking and we had a fantastic lunch and it’s a credit to Karen and her team at the venue.
This small cafe is one of a kind and a place that you to put your bucket list as essential to visit. Tahira who runs it is an absolute star and so friendly and cooks the greatest food
She is so friendly and has knowledge about so many things and is a very talented painter with her talents on show in her shop

Thank you so so much. It really was a pleasure to spend the afternoon here at Feasted Chef’s Table. The passion that Alex, head chef, spoke with was also clear in the meticulously served dishes. The knowledge of the dishes, the stories that run alongside each dish and the ambience of being in your kitchen was an absolute joy. Ben, Millie and Keira were the backbone to what was going on in and around the kitchen. Thank you to you all. We will love to come again!
