I buy lunch from Plantkind quite often. I’m not vegan but it doesn’t matter, I’ve never tasted food so fresh and to call it salad doesn’t do it justice, the flavours in their falafel box are off the scale

I’ve had some of the falafel boxes before when I previously lived in Shrewsbury which were always great. So when I passed Shrewsbury after travelling back north from a wedding this time, I thought I would go back to this place. The food was delicious as always, I had to go for the large falafel box which certainly is a good portion and fills you up for a good part of the day. Perfect as well if you are looking for a vegan option for your lunch.

Just delicious, fresh food and sound staff. It's hard to pull myself away from the large falafel box but when I do have one of the specials it's always a treat too. Good job guys

Friday night home delivery of the most delicious food in town. What a treat. Beautiful food, generous portions, great value, delivered bang on time. My partner simply smiled and said 'I am very very happy' - says it all really!

I’ll never tire of Plant Kind. Superb food, so fresh, so flavoursome, it’s a good job I don’t live in Shrewsbury otherwise I’d be completely bankrupt ordering from this place constantly! A total must when you’re in the area!

Plantlife ood for a large gathering of friends and family was wonderful. Lots of vegetarians and vegans to feed but everybody loved the beautiful looking and delicious tasting food from Plantlife.

Been here numerous times and also ordered from the special menu prepared for Friday evenings only. The food at Plantkind is outstanding. Delicious creamy hummus. crisp fresh vegetables. The pickled carrot is sublime. Plenty of sauces and perfect warm falafel. Perfection!

Everything you want for lunch. We were so impressed by this little shop we'd happily come to Shrewsbury just for this. A must try if you're in the area. Thankyou very much!

Amazing flavours , fresh, healthy ,quick. My children also loved it . We taste the combination of beans too, warm dish, which it was an added treat. You csn it there or find a quiet church yard nearby to enjoy . Our favourite

I live in Cambridge and my friend who lives in Shrewsbury got us a falafel with salads and sauces takeout. Oh my goodness! Every morsel, utterly delicious. I spent about 40% of my time on the journey back to Cambridge today thinking about!! Congratulations to Vlad and Raul for creating such a food spectacular and I'm envious of anyone who lives nearby who is able to eat it on a frequent basis. Amanda

Love the falafel box from Plantkind. So many amazing flavours. Brilliant falafel, superb hummus. Love the sauces…always have all 3. Nearly everything is gluten free which is fab for my daughter. Staff are friendly and helpful. Can’t fault anything!

Delicious salad and falafel boxes, which are also gluten free. Everything is extremely fresh and the falafels are made on the premises. The mixture of salads, dressing and falafel is just right, and very tasty. Also extremely good value for money. If you're visiting Shrewsbury, then do stop by - you definitely won't regret it.

The best place for a gluten free vegetarian lunch in Shrewsbury. Staff were really helpful in informing me that all the fillings are gluten free, and were knowledgable about coeliac disease. My gluten free wrap was huge and I was not charged any extra for choosing a gluten free option. I will definitely eat here again!

After accidentally forgetting to give us our falafels in our falafel boxes, they very kindly gave us two more fresh boxes for free! Unbelievably friendly staff and as always delicious food. Definitely our go to spot when we have friends visiting Shrewsbury.

The falafel boxes are to die for! What an amazing mix of flavours and I never knew falafels themselves could be so moist and tasty. I don't think I've ever craved falafels before, but I certainly do now!

We have lived in the Middle East for the past 14yrs and never eaten Falafel wraps as good as the ones from Plantkind. Truly delicious and made with top quality ingredients.

Amazing falafel wraps, served by lovely friendly staff, who even recommended the coffee shop over the road for decaf coffee as he didn’t have any. Absolutely delish and highly recommended.

We had a 'deal for 2' and it was absolutely delicious! The falafel itself was really tasty especially with the three different sauces that came with it. The salad was very good! A box full of different, fresh, bold and pickled flavours that go beautifully...

I can't recommend Plantkind enough, I've been a few times before and its seriously good falafel. You get lots of little bits in each box so it's nice to try so many little bits.

I got the falafel salad box and it was the best falafel I have ever tasted! They were really moist on the inside and crispy on the outside. The sauces were amazing and went so well with the salad. The owners even let us try a small box of lentils for free. Top guys! I would definitely come back here again. Already missing the taste in my mouth!

Fantastic food and a chef who really knows his Middle Eastern food. Really great experience. The chef even managed to get our children to try new foods and everyone came away with smiles on their faces. I can’t wait to come back!

Stopped off in Shrewsbury en route home from mid-Wales to West Yorkshire. Absolute gem of a place. Worth the ‘detour’ just for the food although pleasantly surprised what a lovely town Shrewsbury is too.The BEST falafel we’ve EVER had (not travelled to Middle East/Lebanon but mezze just about our favourite veggie food & eaten in quite a few ‘authentic’ restaurants). Delicious salad. Loved the red cabbage & the carrot & the harissa dip. Delightful

Not only do they offer deliciously crunchy handmade falafels but you get to choose your own salad the carrots are a favourite of the kids! The people were so kind and we also tried some of their tasty desserts it is great to support such an amazing small business and would recommend to anyone -even the meat eaters enjoyed!

Delicious, fresh falafel with a lovely range of salads. Really lovely owners, very friendly. My teenage daughter went in on her own and ‘discovered’ this place for us and unlike many other shops and restaurants the owners treated her just as they would an adult customer - really lovely, friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back to this hidden gem again.

Walked into this little place as we are vegetarian and like falafel and were blown away by the smell as we walked in - reminiscent of delicious falafel we have eaten in the best falafel bars in Israel. The falafel wrap did not disappoint and the guys behind the counter were very warm and friendly. We will go back next time we are in the area.

I stopped at Plantkind Falafel for lunch while shopping in Shrewsbury. I was looking for something fresh, healthy and home cooked and this lovely little restaurant was perfect. I had chickpea chana served with falafel and a few vegetable side dishes (I think this was called "the works") They also serve wraps. The food is delicious. There is limited seating - if you can grab a space it's a great place to eat lunch, otherwise ask for a takeaway box.

What a find. Awesome fresh food - prepared before your eyes. Filling, flavoursome and basically amazing!! Beautiful salads, rich homous, fresh flatbread and hot specials ... I will be back and back and back..

We visited yesterday and I must say I LOVED this place!! The falafels were amazing! The best I’ve ever had! Top friendly service and I will definitely return when I visit again. There is also seating so that helped! A must visit even if you’re not a vegan! Thanks Plantkind!!

Beautifully hearty falafel in wraps or box with selection of salads. Great value for money and really tasty. Nothing pretentious just honest, authentic, plant based food. There’s also a huge earthenware pot of ‘dish of the day’ but the falafel’s change subtlety every few months so every time we’ve visited we’ve opted for that. Some high bar style seating and a large table with benches for eating in but easy to take away. Lovely friendly owners too. Highly recommend.

Whether Vegan or Carnivore give yourself a treat with a falafel salad box, street food or wraps. The best I’ve tasted. Take out or dine in. Great cheerful service from talented and committed staff. Yum.

I visit at least once a week. The food is fresh, looks great and never disappoints. The quality is fantastic. Sometimes they have fava bean falafel which are out of this world.

I had the (chilli) falafel box. This comes with 5 falafel and various salads and sauces. I also ordered a flatbread. All of the food was excellent and I think represents decent value for money. (5 falafel, salads, flatbread & decent coffee for less than £10). I hope your restaurant is a success - it deserves to be!

If you know you know if you dont your missing out this place is amazing. I dont know anyone who doesnt love it if they have been and the staff are great. I honestly cant rate this place high enough.

I was told by many people to come here, and was really excited to visit. I had been told the food was amazing and the portion sizes were great value for money. However upon arrival I asked for ‘the works’ street food and received a tiny bowl with some grains and lentils, with a dollop of hummus. For this tiny bowl I paid £6! I have to say the food was amazing and very flavoursome, it was just such a shame about the portion size...

I have been to Plantkind a few times to have either a falafel box or a wrap. So delicious. Generous portions of really fresh, simple ingredients and falafels that are crispy outside and soft inside. So very filling and yummy. Though an omnivore, I do enjoy plant based cuisine and will definitely return for more boxes and wraps when I’m hungry again!

We popped in for a couple of large falafel boxes. They come complete with a delicious salad of beetroot, carrots, rocket, hummous and quinoa and then topped with 5 mouthwatering falafel with optional salsas, we chose a spicy harissa one and a coriander one. All for just £6. The overall combo is perfect. We took ours for a picnic in the park. I can't recommend this place enough. We will be back.

Not usually a big falafel fan, we decided to give it a go as we'd heard only good things. We were not disappointed. My experience of falafel has usually been quite 'claggy' but these are anything but. They are really light and definitely the best falafel I've ever had. My husband had the box and I had the wrap, both served with lots of salads and hummus and sauces of your choice, each for £6 and well worth it.

Top healthy fresh salads to go with really perfectly made falafel and hummus (so good and dare I say "authentic) and the sauces! Zhug! Harissa! Tahini! And you can have all three. And jalapeños. Everything perfect and great prices.

Best falafel I've ever tried and their daal is just amazing. The staff are wonderful and friendly and encourage you to bring your own take away containers which I LOVE. Fresh, healthy flavours and the best ethics. Love everything about this place.

We frequent Plantkind and I don't think I'll ever get bored of their falafel wrap. Evehthing is super fresh and tastes different, their street food dishes change reguarly and are delicious and unique. Vlad and Rahul (really hope I've spelt right - sorry if not!) are super friendly and chatty.

As a foodie I am always critical, but I have to say the falafel I had was impossible to fault- fresh ingredients, well balanced, lots of lovely flavours, plenty to eat. I am a meat eater, but very happy to have this kind of non-meat yumminess especially when it leaves me feeling so good afterwards. My only quibble was that I thought it was a smidge too pricey.

I absolutely love this place, the food is so fresh and tasty. The people who work here are very friendly and service is quick although at lunch time expect it to be very busy. Lovely coffee too. Tiny seating area but def worth a visit. Two large boxes. Street food and falafels, salads, millet, two coffees with oat milk (yum) and large brownie. Total £18. The food is quite filling too. Excellent value.

Went here today with friend and it was her first time trying falafel and also 1st time trying hummus and she is officially converted!!Best falafel Everrrr and everything is vegan. The range of sauces are lush and they had only one choice of dessert but it was amazing- a dark cherry and marzipan slice. The coffee was lovely and it was extremely quick. I'd say maybe it would be better to have extra seating somewhere? It was a stroke of luck we could sit down. All in All,, fantastic very well priced healthy food. Will hopefully return

Found this place whilst seeing a advert for it, it's quite small inside but I had a takeaway. It is a very simple menu, but a good mix & food wasn't too bad.

Incredible food in a clean and industrial environment with kind service. Despite having only a handful of dishes, there seems to be many options to choose from here, which change regularity. The food tastes remarlable, simple yet sophisticated, fresh and warming to the soul. I’m not vegan, veggie or particularly hot on falafel but absolutely won over by this place! It’s well worth a visit if you’ve a quick lunch need and there’s even a few seats inside if it’s nippy out.

Plantkind is simply the most fabulous lunchtime venue. Personally, I think we are spoiled for choice for good lunch stops in Shrewsbury, but this is without a doubt my absolute favourite. Great customer service, warm surroundings and most of all quality, fresh, feel-good food. These guys obviously love what they do and the proof of that is clear as soon as you step through the door.

Really amazing venue. Just has everything right. Decor, staff, and most importantly food. Some nice vegan options around town but this was the tastiest, best value for money hands down nicest place I've been to in Shrewsbury. Would really recommend to anyone vegan or otherwise.

A great asset to the Shrewsbury eating scene. Lovely guys who explained all aspects of the food available. Very reasonable prices and biodegradable cups and serving boxes. We had the street food and a falafel box which were both very flaversome and filling. I highly recommend this independent eatery and will be a regular visitor there myself for take away as well as eating in .

The falafel here is cheap, tasty and comes with a variety of equally tasty and daily changing salads and a choice of dressing. Simple, delicious and conscientious with fully biodegradable takeaway boxes and cutlery too! Super place

For a non vegan/vegetarian I was extremely impressed by the food! In the past, elsewhere, I have had extremely bland vegetarian food but the flavours here are fantastic and it has changed my opinion!

There isn’t much difference between a small falafel box and a large as you still seem to put a small spoonful of salad, and a tiny potion of hummus in a large box. This could be improved but apart from that it’s s lovely shop.

I came here for the first time a couple days ago with my friend who highly recommended this place to me. The food was fantastic and full of flavour. I havnt had food quite like it before, I very much enjoyed it. I have been craving one since but unfortunatly its closed today.... I like that you can take your food away, I ate mine in the quarry which was lovely. I am a little gutted that this place is not open in the evenings as it would be lovely to have a plant kind ‘take away’ for my tea sometimes I am not vegan, im vegetarian although I make some vegan choices regarding life style and diet, so it goes to show that you do not have to be full on vegan to enjoy the food. This is now my favourite place to eat.

The chef is excellent. If I could cook like this I'd be a vegan for the rest of my life. Each thing tastes amazing I am so pleased this is in Shrewsbury! You shall be seeing me a lot!

Stumbled across this place and decided to take a look as we’re doing veganuary. All vegan food. We had fajitas and a hot dog. Both were very tasty and good value. If I lived locally I could see myself going here very often. The place was busy and popular and other patrons were friendly. A must for vegans but great for everyone!

Talk about an oasis in the desert!! I had the Pumpkin Pie with Oatly cream....mmmmm! Booked on a cookery demo for this week also !! A great place, long may it continue and thrive !! I would urge non-Vegans to visit also.....may give them inspiration!

Visited on a Saturday lunchtime, but had no problem getting a table. It was just the right level of busy, where it’s got an atmosphere, but you’re not jostling for space.
