The best restaurants serving Pizza pasta food in West Midlands

I live just up the the road from this chippy but have never fancied ‘orange’ chips - but ordered from here this evening and it’s been the best chippy I’ve had in years! 😳 The fish was beautifully cooked and chips although orange in colour (which as a Brummie I was unsure of) they were the best cooked chips I’ve had for years. Can’t believe I’ve had this chippy on my doorstep all this time.

I was already a big fan of Rudy's pizza when I decided to book my birthday dinner at the Birmingham Bennetts Hill location, but my experience surpassed my highest expectations. I'd absolutely recommend hosting a special occasion here to anyone! From start to finish our evening was so smooth, and so enjoyable. We were greeted by the friendliest staff who were super accommodating throughout the evening, from regularly checking in on us for drinks to kindly storing the birthday cake I brought and bringing it out with candles and plates after our meal. We were a larger party of above 20 people and were seated in the downstairs area 'The Store' - as it was a Saturday night there were a few other guests there too, but the venue was private enough for everyone to feel relaxed and conversation to flow across the tables. Our pre-ordered pizzas came quickly and all together, and along with the dips were absolutely delicious; portion sizes are really generous too. The venue itself was perfect for a more relaxed birthday dinner whilst still feeling festive, and lots of my guests commented on how nice the space was decorated; we were also able to mingle amongst ourselves pretty freely and take pictures by the end of the evening, which was really lovely. This Rudy's location does have a policy that under-18-year-olds must be accompanied by an adult onsite, but they make that explicitly clear upon booking and as a mixed party of 17- and 18-year-olds we didn't find the age restriction an issue at all. I honestly just had the absolute best time and couldn't fault my experience. So thank you, Rudy's Bennetts Hill, for helping to make my 18th birthday feel so extra special. I'd unreservedly recommend both Rudy's pizza and recommend 'The Store' as a party venue, and I'd definitely look to host a special occasion here again in future. Very good service, excellent food and decentish price. Waiters were attentive and nice. Service was extremely quick food came within 5 mins of ordering. You order at the bar. Sauces were nice, but not as flavourful as the obvious comparison which was Nando’s. Have unlimited soft drinks also like Nando’s. The fattoush salad was excellent, stood out so much over everything, was truly very nice. The chicken was good, soft and succulent. Chips were decent but piri piri salt wasn’t that flavourful or spicy. Main thing I felt was an issue was the price. It’s not insanely expensive but for the area it is a bit expensive, and I find it difficult to justify going over Nando’s, who also have an NHS discount. We probably spent at least £10 extra pp for the same order as Nando’s. However I felt the quality was actually better here.

Fantastic service from Jake, friendly and welcoming , kept us well topped up with fab drinks. Lovely food would come again

Lady at bar gave me really hostile energy. Put my plate at the end of the table when I was sat across it. Waited half an hour for one of the worst burgers I’ve ever had. Just a poor experience never been here thought I’d come in on my lunch break

Found Rocket down little Hereford back street. Went in and found a seat. Ordered two Goats Cheese, pesto and cranberry flat bread wraps. My wife went to the toilet - not good - clearly hardly ever cleaned - dirty, dusty, toilet seat broken !! If we had gone in there before ordering we would not have eaten there…..always tell a place by its toilets. Throughout our time eating there was, on a table right near us, a young boy (clearly related to one of the staff) he was eating a McDonalds and for the whole 30 minutes was watching videos on a phone at high volume !! Others came in and were clearly bothered by it. Shame - the food was pretty good. Staff not friendly.

Lovely pub. Staff are very helpful and friendly and a truly wonderful atmosphere here. Excellent food and very reasonably priced with a varied menu. The pub is dog friendly and definitely one of our firm favourites in the area! Very popular pub and it is not hard to see why.

The highest quality gluten free pizza. Really lovely owners. As a true pizza fan from New York and Los Angeles, this is actually the best GF I've ever had.

We were warmly welcomed on a cold weekday evening, so we chose to sit next to the stove. The curries were ordered were piping hot, well spiced and very tasty - just what we needed and decent value too. Recommended.

We called in for coffee and stayed for lunch which was an absolutely delicious pizza. The staff were really friendly and helpful. This was a much pleasanter place for lunch than any of the others we saw, particularly those near the river. We will definitely return when we’re in Stratford again.

Saturday evening out, lovely food, will definitely be returning. Really good Carbonara. Only negative is it's very bright in there, maybe could do with a dimmer switch on them.

I always order a delivery. They are so kind and polite. As are the delivery drivers. We live in a remote area which is difficult to find- but they find us and the food is always hot. They have excellent deals - so always look out for them. They do Strawberry Miranda which is just God's nectar I swear. Very well priced and will listen to what you want and provide it. 10 out of 10!!

Serving staff were helpful and nice, especially Sophia & the chaps manning the bar. The issue is the menu and the quality of the food. I'm vegan, they have a vegan curry on the menu. I fancied a burger with fries. The moving mountains burger, salad, onion chutney & fries option was vegetarian rather than vegan because of the brioche bun (this is standard). There was crusty bread on the menu, so I asked to swap the brioche for crusty bread. But no, the crusty bread was not vegan. It's really hard to find bread that's not vegan, but this restaurant has managed to. I was then served a somewhat dried out or over microwaved burger that took serious effort to cut, with a nice side salad. The chutney only comes with the brioche, so I didn't get that. The kitchen decided not to give me fries. This turned out to be because they use the same oil for other things, so very aware of them. However, they didn't check if that was what I expected (I don't mind). After discussion I did get fries but it was an underwhelming meal. A poor menu for vegans.

Me and my daughter had a Christmas movie night last night and decided to order a munch takeaway for delivery. From the lady who took the order to the food and service from the delivery driver everything was absolutely perfect. Food arrived promptly, fresh, piping hot and absolutely delicious. Thankyou munch will 100% be using your delivery service again in the future!
