Went for my birthday meal & it didn't disappoint - food was excellent & there was plenty of it too. Would we go again - most certainly, we've already recommended it to friends & family.

Maisie was fantastic after I fell near the shop. She helped get a taxi and told me not to pay the driver. I offered to pay but she wouldn't hear of it. What a great young lady. She will go far. You should be very proud of her. Thank you, Maisie! You saved and made my day.

I came in I had a really stressful day,the menu was outstanding they had a range of salads too choose from I had the loveliest hot chocolate served with a smile ,Maisie,zabi,seb and tadisa were very attentive and friendly I’ll definitely be back thank you grill it

After a long and tiring day, I came to grill-it and was greeted with a smile, Maisie, zabi and seb served me and they were really friendly and kind, I ordered a hot chocolate and peri fries and the presentation was amazing, they were really friendly and made my day much better.

Peri peri chips were soaked in the seasoning, so much so we could not eat them. Pitta was extremely dry which also could not be eaten.

Food and service great but saw the owner doing atleast 4 shots of whisky behind the bar in front of customers which wasnt exactly professional

Nice food, although they only serve chicken which uI must say was full of flavour. The place was a bit sticky and could do with good clean. Very fast service which was ideal. Only one toilet 🚻. Little pricey, but would return to take away.

Visiting my friend and her children this weekend at Wolverhampton, weather has been great, we were looking at where we can eat our lunch with the kids. Fill-In Newbridge ticked boxes for us, we had a good parking, Great service from the Friendly staff, we enjoyed our food and and the kids ate more than what we expected. I would definitely visit again.

Tadisa was amazing she showed a high level of professionalism, her customer service was perfect she knew the menu very well she helped us make the right choice of food which was tasty, she was Happy and smiley which made us feel welcome.. I shall definitely recommend and I will definitely be back..

Food is tasty but is very expensive for what it is. Let down by poor preparation of the chicken (for example gristle is often left on the chicken fillets....)

Were it not for Grill It, I would wander the streets of Wolverhampton like a bannerman without a lord, a knight without a sword, a Stark without Winterfell. The tender meats, seasoned to perfection, dance upon my tongue as a direwolf does through the forests of the North. Their burgers are as mighty as the Wall, and the service, as swift and courteous as a raven from King's Landing. In truth, without Grill it, my life would be as bleak as the winters of Westeros. I would be lost, adrift in a sea of mediocre fare, yearning for the savory splendor that only this fine establishment can provide.

Staff nice and service good but most of the food too spicy and dry for us. The salad in particular was way too salty. I am curious why this is the case when other people have given same feedback? I am sure it would have done us more harm than good to eat it even if we had found it edible.

You literally have to buy a sauce after buying food crazy! Next time, staff members should ask customers if they want peri peri salt to their food before adding it to the chips. Highly disappointed!!!!

Nice place, decoration, food was delicious, very well seasoned, delicious sauces especially the lemon and garlic one. We will certainly return.

Absolutely beautiful food, lots of variety of sides which is nice to choose from, really well decorated and the staff couldn't do more for you. Lemon and garlic sauce is the one, I would buy a bottle! We live 30 mins away but will definitely be our go to dine out place!

Popped in for a quick dinner with the children. The staff and the food were absolutely fantastic! The waiting staff cleaned the tables and highchair without being asked, advised on the menu, and went out of their way to help with anything we could have wanted. As always, the food was absolutely fantastic - we would usually have takeaway rather than eating in at grill it, but on future will definitely do it again. The only thing I would mention is the really dirty changing mat on the baby change table - just needs to be thrown in the bin

Amazing and speedy service when I came I had the veggie burger and peri fries the service was super speedy and I also ordered a refresher which was delicious! My server Sam was so helpful and made it so nice for us with fresh fruits and was so attentive when checking in on us. All the staff was lovely. Would definitely go again and recommend to a friend!

Was man wissen muss, hier gibt es nur hähnchen und vegetarisch, also kein Beef. Nur Pizzas, da gibt es andere Alternativen. Bestellt wird an der Theke. Man nimmt auch Rücksicht auf Vorspeise zuerst und fragt dann nach, ob Hauptgang begonnen werden darf. Die Gerichte, welche ich bisher hatte sind geschmacklich sehr gut. Die Varianten die es gibt, geben die Möglichkeit das echt jeder was findet. Hier kann jedes Gericht mild, scharf, oder sehr scharf bestellt werden. Ich werde auf jeden Fall öfters hingehen in meiner Zeit, in welcher ich nun dort verbringe.

We visited here today for our daughters birthday. What a gem of a place. Beautiful food which was served hot and fresh. Lovely, friendly staff. I have a food intolerance and they ensured that my food was safe for me to eat. They even gave our daughter a surprise brownie and cream for her birthday. We would 100% recommend and we will return soon.

The food was amazing and the staff couldn’t be anymore helpful. Well worth the money and freshly made too. Will definitely be returning with my family and friends in the near future.

Worst meal. Worst experience. I used to be a regular customer but the food and service has gone downhill! Firstly, when giving the order the guy confirmed what we had ordered, but then got the order wrong and missed things off. When I asked for them, I was told he didn’t put it through so I had to pay again. Once the food arrived, it was the wrong flavour but we didn’t want to be difficult and wanted a nice evening. Once we started eating we knew it was a problem. The food tasted so over seasoned that it was impossible to eat (I was gagging- buts starving). I tried to politely say that I’d had an issue eating it as it was over seasoned. All the staff came to me at the till to tell me it’s just ordinary wings. It felt very intimidating. There was no offer of fresh wings or any sort of compensation. The response I received was a sarcastic ‘what can I do?!’ I’m disappointed. They lost my custom.

First time and place looked clean and nice. It's lovely they have outside seating as for the hot days. Service and staff where great. Food was lovely. We had the meal for two which has a whole chicken, wings, 3 sides and 2 refill drinks for less then £40. The food was really good and tasty. Only say the sauces were a bit watery. Overall fabulous service and food.

I had an hour to spare whilst at the oxygen therapy centre nearby and, having had ‘Grill it’ recommended before, decided to try it out. I’ve not rushed there before thinking it might be a poor copy of Nando’s but that thought was soon flipped 180 degrees. A personal greeting in a very clean environment on arrival and then a meal, all be it simple that was as good a chicken as I’ve tasted anywhere. I had the Caesar salad side (with half a chicken) which was also both fresh and tasty. All of the staff made eye contact and acknowledged whenever they were passing and the whole experience was excellent in service, quality and value. I’m back for the oxygen treatment another ten times and have booked the appointments to coincide with lunchtimes 🙂. Thank goodness it’s a healthy option-chicken and Caesar salad, medium sauce and a coffee …. What’s not to like ?? 😇🥳 🍗 ❤️

Quick service, large portions (wrap was like a naan/pitta!) and drinks were amazing ❤️ 2 for £10 mocktails then add a shot of gin of your choice for a cocktail... best place, will deffo return!

Nice food but the place could do with a revamp.

Spent £18 for two bowls of Caesar salad only to find out it got salad leaves and two croutons in it with sauce... And it also says large which is two bites only. Won't be buying again. All places I got Caesar salad contained chicken so you can actually get full when you eat it. Not 5 salad leaves with mixed sauce.

Food was nice. But a little burnt in places. The staff are nice and polite. The place was not too busy. There is parking nearby and wheelchair accessible.

This is like a hidden gem cause it looks small from outside but its quite spacious inside Staff were really friendly,there was 8 of us and the drinks and food came quickly,no problems with anything all very tasty and piping hot,plenty of condiments,was also asked if everything was OK once the food was brought to table will definately go again.

Cant fault the food been a few times but was disgusted by the fact we were not asked about allergies as we have been before which has caused my partner to have an allergic reaction to having something different working in hospitality ourselves we know thats the first point of call but i am definitely not pleased at the service given when seated

Placed an order for 2 pizza by phone. I was advice it will be ready in 20min, got to the branch in 12min. The pizza were already made. When I got home the pizza were under cooked as the cheese wasn’t melted, the under base was soggy. Truly nasty no effort was made preparing these pizza. Waste of £24. Won’t be back in a hurry.

When I placed the order I was advise it will be ready within 20 min but I got to the restaurant within 12 min and they were already made. Which probably explains why they were under cooked. Won’t be back In a hurry. Best to visit a real pizza Place in chapel Ash.

Visited grill it Stafford road with my family and friends, couldn’t praise the staff enough and the food is absolutley lovely!! Ordered a 1/4 chicken with fatoush salad and peri fries the food tasted so fresh Family had a family grill it meal the chicken was fresh and the pizza was the best pizza I’ve had All the staff were lovely and helpful and the place is clean! Will be visiting again!! Thankyou

Dropped in to the Oldswinford branch at around 9pm on Saturday 23rd. It was one of those desperate options as didn’t fancy a curry and Couldn’t think of anywhere else to go. It’s a really poor imitation of Nando’s that charges pretty much the same price. I’m vegetarian and opted for the signature falafel wrap. Talk about stodge. It was basically a naan bread with a load of non particularly fresh salad and 3 dry chopped falafel (these were burnt!) which I informed the waitress when she cleared away “oh, sorry about that” . The spicy fries just way too much spice thrown on the top. Seriously don’t bother. McD’s quality is better and at 1/3 of the price you might as well head there. My mates chicken burger was no better. Won’t be back. Awful food.

Went for a family tea takeaway. Very nice staff clean and very quick with food. But have to say on this occasion the chicken we had was very dry and not much taste to it had better before.

Terrible food, chicken was not cooked and I ordered early they have cut back on the chips too paid 45 pound for trash. Wings nasty.

Tonight, a group of 12 friends went to grill it on the Stafford Road. Where do I start? The service was absolutely disgusting. As it was quite a large booking, I was asked to pre order the mains and pay a £60 deposit, so £5 each. When I got there, the girls said that they had been given menus and were told to order at the bar when they were ready. I went to the bar and asked why they had been given menus when I had pre ordered the food a week before. This was quickly sorted. However, I asked for a drinks menu, only to be told that they didn’t have one as they were part way through having new menus. Our food arrived and the food itself was beautiful and the portions were very generous. This is where my praise ends unfortunately. Nobody came to check on us and to see if we were enjoying the food. It took a good 45 minutes for our plates to be cleared from the table. We weren’t offered a dessert menu. One of the girls went and asked for the dessert menu and we were given one to share between the 12 of us. She was told to ignore the prices stated as they were wrong and we would need to ask for the price. In the end we didn’t bother with dessert as we’d have probably been there until midnight! The £60 deposit that I had paid, I was told they’d need to refund it to me because their till system couldn’t cope with knocking £60 off the final bill. I said this would be stupid as I would need to pay the everyone their £5 back. This was resolved but when we finally came to pay at the end, the girl who came to settle the bill obviously hadn’t been given this information and wanted to refund me the £60 again. We explained this had been dealt with and she should speak to her colleague. She ran off and didn’t come back so we had to sort the bill ourselves, working out what the staff should’ve been working out. You really need to work on your service Grill it because we definitely won’t be returning again. And maybe print some more dessert menus with the proper prices on! Can’t even blame the fact that it was busy because it was dead in there.

Totally over priced. Sorry but never again. A nando version but double the price. Yes all looked good and great staff, but it is what it is.

About 12 in our group, i was visiting friends . Great staff, great food all cooked to perfection. Really enjoyed our meal. Wasn't silly prices either . I live about 100 miles from this restaurant, but if I get down that way again, I would definitely go back for a feed .

Visited for the first time on the off chance and the food was beautiful. Staff were very friendly and polite and the food was with us in less than 10 minutes of service. Would highly recommend and will be going back again soon.

Went for a family meal on Sunday and we all loved it. The children loved the milkshakes and adults enjoyed wine and G&T's. My mum keeps talking about the pizza, says its the nicest she's ever had. The staff were fantastic really helpful and friendly. The food came quickly and was delicious- really good value for money. We will certainly be returning again. Couldn't recommend it highly enough.

I’m not normally one to write reviews, but I feel that it is totally necessary in this instance, as this place needs to know where they’re going wrong. The food is very good, and I have always enjoyed everything I have eaten here. The issue is the staff. It appears that all of the members of staff at the Stourbridge restaurant have either zero people skills/enthusiasm to work, or simply have not had any necessary training required to work with members of the public in a restaurant setting. Whilst having lunch, we had to approach members of staff ourselves for a number of things. We needed to ask for a drinks menu, we had to ask to place out drinks order and then again for food. The waiter had a bit of an attitude, struggled to take down our order as he didn’t know the menu, and simple didn’t appear to know what he was doing. My friend (a vegetarian) ordered a falafel wrap. When the food arrived, the same waiter handed over a chicken wrap. When my friend mentioned that she hadn’t ordered that, the waiter replied with “I don’t know what you’ve ordered to be honest”. Whilst we enjoyed our food, we noticed a number of other tables having to get up and find staff members in order to place their orders. One table even asked if it was a “order at the till” restaurant, as they’d been sat at their table for around 15-20 minutes before anyone came to their table. The staff are not trained, they are not attentative and leave visitors waiting around much longer than they should be. I really enjoy this restaurant, and will continue to come back, but the service is shocking and makes the experience quite disappointing.

Amazing pizza - best anywhere, especially the vegetarian, thin base. Service is fantastic. Only complaint is the new menu which I find really difficult to read so always resort to the pizza - just as well it’s amazing!

Good afternoon Usually I don’t write any reviews, but I feel I have to share this . I very often visit this place and always enjoyed and felt comfortable. But today happened disgusting situation and left me feel very upset. Today as usual I ordered coffee and sat down at the table. Then one member of the staff put music very loud, after that I went to ask them nicely to put music down a bit , because it was too loud. But their answer about my question shocked me. Those girls was answering me very rude, unfriendly and laughed at me, because can be seen English is not my first language. Then I returned back to my table and noticed that they still was laughing and talking behind my back. Due to this situation I will never again visit this place and will not recommend to my friends and family members . Absolutely unprofessional behaviour. Never had any experience like that.

What a dirty place, cutlery, tables, floor and toilet all need a good scrub. It certainly would not get a 5⭐ hygiene award nowadays. The food was of pretty poor quality for the price, our group of 6 all said as we left, we should have gone to the Newbridge and had a carvery, it would have been far better and way cheaper too. We'll know in future 🤬

Quite disappointing. The chips were soggy as if they had been sat in their packet for a long period of time before given to us. Bit expensive for what you get really. Also ordered my chicken lemon and herb and I’m convinced it’s hot.

Collected an order yesterday afternoon. The food was disgusting! All the food was cold, cold soggy sweet potato fries, the veggie burgers were also cold and soggy, the salted caramel cookie was STALE! The ice cream wasn't all that either. Waste of money and will never eat from there again.

When we came in we were poorly greeted by the waitress on host. Very rude girl. I will not be returning. Do not recommend. Didn’t feel welcomed. Very patronising. So annoyed. Waste of money. Other waitress was lovely. But I was tempted to walk out from the greeting we received.

The service was excellent and very friendly it was my first experience and i was celebrating my friend passing her exams. The food was delicious and the waitress Ayesha made my time extremely pleasurable i will definitely be returning back.

Popular and well finished, fit-out looks great. The menu seemed good too, even for us vegetarians. Ordering was a bit awkward, no drinks menu and no substitutions allowed with the food (I just wanted pitta not brioche bun). When food came, the starter platter was brilliant, we really enjoyed it. I had the Spicy Veggie Bean Burger, it’s not great, it’s like a McDonalds breaded burger. My wife had a Caesar salad, which was very rich, but fine. The Nando’s comparison is difficult to avoid, but it’s cheaper and you don’t have to order from the bar! The wine was amazing, which caught me off guard!

Arrived at restaurant, no welcome at all, we stood and waited before we were greeted. Took to table promptly, two menus were put down covering up crumbs and they were dirty. We sat and waited for 10 minutes before our order for drinks and food were taken. I had to ask for the table to be wiped as it was dirty. Naked flame on table (see pic) surely not safe!? Table next to us was full of dirty plates and cutlery. Waitress was lovely she seemed to be the only one working even though there were multiple members of staff on. Other staff were stood behind bar talking and eating (may I add no hair tied up either!!) Food was nice but I don’t think I’ll rush back any time soon. Decor was lovely but it was cold they had small fan heaters on.

Myself and my wife visited here after being out locally for a few drinks, I had booked a table over the phone for (19:00) for the Sunday all easy enough. we arrived and ordered a couple of drinks and was taken to our table after being told our drinks would be brought over. they arrived and we had already decided what we both wanted so ordered straight away, my wife was not sure what a certain part of the menu was and Axa (who is a manager looked after us for the evening) explained it all in great detail. Our food arrived Promptly which did lead me to think about other reviews that were left about food prep but ours was hot and tasty so we were vey happy once our cutlery eventually arrived, I also had to go hunting for some salt and pepper which is the only reason why my review is rated a very good and not an excellent, After our meal we were asked if we could leave some feedback and discussed some of the bad reviews that had been left about this place and Although I think most of the bad reviews about just grill are a bit unfair, there are areas that can be improved on and its just the little basic things that just need putting right and for us it was just cutlery on the table or at least with the food when it arrived, and not having to go hunting around other tables for some salt and pepper, other than that really we had a great night and will definitely be back to eat here again.

I had a meal with my sisters at Grill It today, whilst placing the order I specifically asked for no onions in one of the order. A short while later everyone’s order came besides the order without the onions which came after over 45mins. As my sister went to eat the food she realised not only did she wait this long there was also onions in the order. I took the food back to the counter and simply asked for a refund on that order as I won’t be waiting a while for another one. My sister took the onions and entire salad out the meal leaving it with just chicken. The only explanation I was provided with was that the place was too busy which is why the messed up on my order only. I couldn’t get a refund for that specific item because the female working stated “it would be a long process as I would need to contact the owner” but I could have a free drink or dessert (something I didn’t want).
