I put an order in via their website portal, at 17:14 accepted and took the money. I had no order update in half an hour, I've come down here and they ain't even open? So now, I need to order from somewhere else and go through the hassle of calling the bank for my money back. Absolutely useless, if it says you are open but you aren't. Don't allow orders to go through.

Under new management but needs to be Shut Down. Food all over floor and counter. Chips was disgusting and sausage was greasy even though been under light for ages. Also stray cat sitting inside chippy near counter or front door. Health and Food Safety out window. Advice to go other chippy or takeaway every time.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE YOU WILL REGRET IT! BURNT PIZZA WHICH HAD A HAIR ON IT AND WRONG SIZE!!! CHIPS WERE ALSO THE WRONG SIZE I RECEVIED A SMALL WHEN I ORDERED A LARGE WITG MIX MEAT AND THERE WAS NO DONER ON IT. RUINT MY WHOLE NIGHT THIS PLACE SHOULD BE CLSED DOWN LOOKS LIKE THEY HAVE UNEDUCATED PEOPLE WORKING THERE WHO DONT KNOW THERE PORTIONS AND CLEARLY NEED TO WEAR A HAIR NET!!!!!

They cancelled our order after we waited almost an hour and a half. There was no apology or explanation

I ordered an offer that included chips, two sides, 4 dips and a bottle of soda. When the pizzas arrived, they had not been sliced. The base was undercooked, the tops were nearly burned, so as we were slicing them, the toppings kept sliding off. At that point, ONLY the pizzas were delivered. I called the restaurant and they didn't answer. I had to call the delivery driver, who was apologetic. I was told it would be 15 minutes to get the rest of my order. It took an hour. The garlic bread is burnt and I asked for garlic sauce and got 4 pots of mayo. Why did I have to wait an hour for the sides on top of the pizzas being absolute badly prepared rubbish? Never again.

Food took two and a quarter hours to arrive. Order was incomplete, portion size has reduced, chips were cold, chewy and mainly batter bits. Overall disgusting and will never order again. Avoid!!

Waited two hours and most of the food was wrong. No phone lines picking up.

New owners so it’s been a lot better lately. Edit: they’re never open when it says they’re open. Seems to be random times. When they finally do open none of the food is ready to go so you have to wait ages for the simplest things. Waited 10 minutes for a small pot of gravy. Going downhill fast. I’m almost certain the fryer oil hasn’t been changed in god knows how long. The chips taste like old rotten fish oil.

It's ok not the best fried were a bit soggy but rest was fine

Food was awful tonight (19.5 23) fish batter was brown like it had been fried in dirty oil chips the same and cold. Shame because a few weeks ago the food was good and chips amazing. Threw it in the bin waste of £8.40 🤢

Food took well over stated time to arrive, and when it did it was missing an order, no burger in the bun, and the rest looked odd and inedible. Through it all away. Still no full refund given.

They don’t answer the phone when you call, meal was an hour and a half late and they forgot to add in our bottle of pop, when i finally got through on the phone it was a girl who sounded fed up and said she had just gave our order to the delivery driver so i “shouldn’t have called”, why do they have a customer service number if they don’t care about their customers? and why are they only sending out orders 5 minutes before they’re due to arrive? They need to change their wait time from 45 minutes to 2 hours because that’s how long it takes in reality to actually get your order, and you’ve won the lottery if your meal is actually warm by the time it gets to you.

Order food on just eat waited over 2 hour for them to cancel my order don't do a service if you can't doit

Very lucky to get a 1 star only cuz had no choice to choose a star Just ordered from uber eats 30 mins late food was stone cold burnt and soggy Had to go down the shop to find out where it is just left the shop when I got there Tried calling them loads of times no answer ( what a suprise ) Won't be using this place again

AVOID !! Waited over 2 hours for delivery got brought total wrong order , asked for refund to be told can I sort it my end !! She said no as it delivered within time slot I was like no and want the right order for her to then say we’ll we have been busy. What an absolute joke they r litterally up the road from me I will never order from there again ! Delivery time daid half hour tops , I asked driver to check food which was totally wrong and cold , to say can u wait for us to do gain when I’ve waited over 2 hours the first time , is a joke!!

Ordered through Just Eat at 5.30. Advised food would be ready for collection at 6.30. Got to shop in good time to be told order hadnt even been started. Still waiting for food at 7.00. Quiet midweek night so no excuse for two pizzas to not be ready in an hour and a half. After seeing how dirty the premises was we would never had ordered from here in the first place.

So full now, love frydays been my local for the last few years, only downfall, bun was soggy from the vinigar other then that amazing

Order running late due to driver not turning up for work,Owner took over very apologetic couldn’t do enough Food was tasty fabulous so outcome very good will order again.

The food used to be decent there, I don't know what happened in the last few months but the food has been awful, tasteless and too oily. Will not buy from there anymore.

Avoid as half of time order never arrive and you have to chase them for days to get your money back

Orderd food from here and there was a few problems with some of the food so I rang the shop and spoke to the owner Rak who kindly re sent the food witch was hot and fresh and the took the time to ring me back and make sure everything was ok great customer service and food I would recommend to anyone 💯

Place is going down hill big time. Staff can’t understand you get home to cold dry food. Food that you can tell has been sat there a long time and won’t do fresh if it is in the counter they started off really good

Terrible food took nearly 2 hours to come then when it did turn up it was the completely wrong order forgot my drink will never be ordering from there again. Waste of money I ordered nachos they have came with a sprinkle of cheese and very burnt absolute joke.

When you order from this shop be reminded that it shows that they don’t care about their customers. Multiple times, not the same day, I have ordered food through Uber eats and 20 mins after ordering they cancel my order, even hours before closing time. Just find it so disrespectful, because if you are going to cancel my order for any reason, don’t wait almost half an hour. One of these times I had my kids waiting for their food, when the shop is close to home and the order just gets cancelled almost 30 mins later. So rude.

Ive been here a few times. Went last week and noticed its under new management. Not the same taste. Shop was dirty. Very messy and unclean. Kebab looks stale. Usually, very busy everytime I drive past, but empty past few times. I know why. There was burnt bits all over my chips. Oil needs hanging. No selection. Would have to wait for food. Seems the locals are done with Frydays. So am I!

I ordered a large fish and chips with a large pot of curry sauce. Where do I start… no way was the it a large fish, looked like a mini. The chips very tasteless. The curry sauce wasn’t filled to top. Probably about 60% filled. For 7£ on uber eats I was very disappointed. I stopping eating After 3 mouthfuls.

Ordered large fish which was £6.50 and when opened, it was like medium size, very dark oily chips. Please change oil regularly, use to my favourite place but, no anymore.

Please do not eat from here I got food poisoning and the food made me sick Meat was frozen little peices of it and looked like it has been warmed in the microwave ….. disgusting don’t eat from here!!!

Worst chippy ever just spent 15 pound for a bag of grease ordered kebab and it just came in lumps of meat nan bread soaked in grease just phoned up and explained and they told to phone uber eats I tried to explain uber eats didn't make the food you did and he's saying phone uber eats to cancel it but the food has already been delivered. To anyone ordering from here I advise you not to horrible food useless staff/manager would not recommend to anyone unless you want to be ripped off and waking up with a bad stomach wish you could rate no stars because it deserves none whats so ever first and last time ordering from here

Don't use card here charge u twice it's showing on my statement yet saying he ain't it's in black and white so avoid at all costs

Not keen on there chips etc not a place I'd go again but every one Is different so you may love it so don't dislike it due to my opinion

Pizza base was over cooked (burnt) and the battered chips were cold, so it was definitely not worth the long wait at all. The only positive were the large bottled drinks I bought which is what the 1 star is for if I'm brutally honest. Very disappointed as I saw a high rating for this takeaway on Foodhub but when I actually took a read of the reviews most of them are from Linda Law who rates this place 5 stars multiple times, I wonder whether she actually works for the company or something because the food really isn't nothing special at all. First and last time I'm ordering from Frydays and I do not recommend.

Got the order wrong and refused to change it, food tasted okay but had seemingly been mugged on the way there as it was a beaten mush, diabolical chippy and a disgrace to the Midlands

Found a ball of hair in my kebab meat...always ordered from here but I feel it has gone down hill recently...daughter had fish and was poorly through out night and all of next day.

Food came 45mins late told 10.20 came 11oclock...chips where almost cold n kebab wasnt the best ...when asked y late driver said y what time should it have been here ..then was like oh ok soz ..shop shouts at 10.30 service is poor .

So order food 40 minutes late poor mix of kebab meat, furthermore food was a bit warm. When spoke over phone said 5 minutes then turning 15 minutes very poor service

NEVER ORDER AGAIN CHARGED £2.60 SMALL CHIPS WHICH HAD ABOUT 15 CHIPS IN ALL HARD AND DISGUSTING THE PIZZA WAS SOGGY BASE AND TASTELESS EVEN THOUGH WENT FOR THE HOTTEST.

Absolutely disgusting service food arrived and it was vile food was rock hard and not edible. Phoned up to complain they said they was sending some new food. Also said it would be 20 minutes waited 1 hour and tried to call no answer and now they are closed. This needs closing down!

After waiting over a hour my food was wrong they did the opposite of what I ordered when I got in contact with food hub there telling me it was rite and was told 2 call the shop. Now they dont wanna dont what 2 pick up . Dont get me started on the drive looking in my window I'm not happy 1 bit

Order food and drinks. My food came but not the drinks. Still charged me for the drinks. Been trying to call them for this mistake and now they eint answering the phone. Food came stone cold and chicken was over cooked, only nice thing I had was the salad. This is bad and poor customer service, never ordering from here again!

I live about two minutes from here and ordering on just eat, because can't leave house means a wait of at least an hour and a half.

Great food, such fresh meat and chips. Taste so good. Try the garlic cheese pizza so tasty and their batter chips have to be the best in town.. defo recommend.

Ordered food today of there website because of my basket size being over 10 pound was giving a free gift of a bottle of Pepsi. Which when order arrived no Pepsi phoned restaurant that told me it was a mistake on the website I used so not there fault and said tough very rude. Who I then contacted the website and was told it's the restaurant that deals with all the promos so was there fault but they have now corrected it.Also they had spoken to the restaurant that still was not sending me an item that was on my receipt. So I never got it contacting treading standards over there's cowboys. Also sad you can't post pictures as the lettuce that was on the burgers looked well past its sell by date which I have proof of. Don't waste money here.Would give it no stars but you can't sadly.

On this occasion i found a nail piece in my curry sauce i went back to ask for my money back the guy over the counter asked show me where. So i did in front of 6 customers who just walked out. Gave my money back called me some abusive names and when i asked to come outside away from the cameras to settle it as a humans he backed off. The chef in the back actually gave me my money back.

I wish I could give a zero star Because I ordered my food at 5:30 and it turned up at 7:00 and We called it about 6:30 and never answered so I phoned off another phone and They answered and They said that I haven’t got a postcode even though I give it them it before ordering it and when it come there was food missing so I’m never ordering from here ever again it was a waste of money and we phoned them back and said can we have our money back so we had our money back don’t come here if u wanna wasn’t money 😡🤬

I ordered food last night and I am very disgusted I had a battered sausage and chips and as I bit into the sausage it was completely raw it hadn't even been cooked. I am now suffering with food poisoning as a result from this I will not be ordering again

I don’t normally leave reviews but I was begged by the delivery driver as he received a few bad ones the week before. Food is always hot, fast delivery service, reasonable prices for portion sizes and drivers are friendly

The donner kebab is undercooked and thickly cut, they say it's fresh but tastes about two days old and the chips were crunchy and felt like I was eating the bits of them and not chips.

Ordered chicken strips and chips, most of the chips was hard put me off my tea ended up going to my local Chinese instead.
