Rudy's Neapolitan Pizza in Birmingham

I’m shocked this is a chain as everything was spot on. Great food, great service, really nice at atmosphere. The prices are also great. If you want a quick bite or a casual evening I’d recommend!

Only a four because it was pretty loud so a conversation was hard to have BUT that's more to do with how popular the place was. Food and service was impeccable. Missed not having fries but maybe that's a positive!

Hamza is the best host for this place and the food is amazing best pizza in birmingham town centre.

Visited recently and had some really great food as usual, however, the atmosphere and service has been very off lately. The music was way too loud and felt as if I had to raise my voice over dinner, and we waited probably longer than 15 minutes after our plates were cleared for someone to come to our table to get the bill, and had to fetch one of the waiters to do so. The restaurant wasn’t particularly busy and it was frustrating because we could see a lot of employees standing around and chatting, our server in particular who we saw walking around and chatting instead of tending to our table. I also feel like some sort of dress code needs to be put into place as the white male server with glasses was wearing very tight and revealing jogging bottoms which we found uncomfortable and unprofessional, it was almost violating. We have been returning for months but the quality of the service lately has been so poor we are considering giving our business to other options.

Met some friends here for lunch today. Fairly busy but staff were super, really attentive and friendly. Food was really delicious, so much so we took a pizza to go for our colleagues back at work. Thank you.

I order a tuna pizza that was £14.50 but the pizza barley had any topping even cheese felt dissatisfied when I got i the van and look at the pizza but the lady that served me was very nice and polite and it did have a good atmosphere but I ordered to takeaway

Delicious, tasty, authentic Italian neapolitan pizzas made with the best ingredients.

Came here with 2 friends for lunch. Generally good variety, easy menu, good prices. However Only 1 vegetarian and 1 vegan pizza option. I ended up creating my own and paid extra for the toppings. Pizza needs more sauce and more edge to edge toppings as the outer crust was burnt and I couldn't eat it so 20% of the pizza was wasted. Amazing service by Hamza he was very sweet calm timely and attentive. Comfortable seating great atmosphere :)

First time here today with my kids, excellent service, very friendly staff. The pizzas come very quickly.

Low prices, really good pizza, if the waiters spoke a few words of Italian you would really feel like you were in Italy.

Went here with family having heard good things about the place from friends. Booked for lunch at 12:15 on a Saturday so got there shortly after opening time. We were warmly greeted and shown to our table and given good advice on what was on offer. I'm glad I'd booked as the place was full by 13:00! The pizza's are fantastic - Not overly complicated just good ingredients wood fired to perfection. Hospitality here is excellent too. Will definitely go back soon.

We had a really good experience, the atmosphere was great and the pizzas were excellent! Definitely coming back again next time we're in Birmingham, Rafael took good care of us and was really welcoming.

I commence by expressing my concern that, upon the delivery of my order through Deliveroo, I discovered a smashed glass amongst my drinks, resulting in a spillage of the beverage on my drive and carpets. Although I understand that Rudy's Pizza utilizes a third-party company for their deliveries, I believe that they should also bear some responsibility for the incident. I contacted the manager, who was courteous, but I have yet to receive any update regarding the outcome. At present, I am still dealing with the aftermath of the shattered glass and sticky carpet, which I have had to arrange for a private cleaning service to address. Regrettably, I did not receive any form of apology or gesture of goodwill for the inconvenience caused. Spending £60 on four pizzas only to have a soaking wet box and juice spilled on one of the pizzas, through no fault of my own, is deeply disappointing and a waste of my money. As a result, I regret to inform you that I will not be dining at Rudy's Pizza again.

I AM SHOCKED. outraged, disorientated, upset. i am honestly disgusted and distraught at the feral policies of this establishment. pov: you’re 16, it’s your birthday, and you’re denied entry. how is it you can make a booking underage, but not even allowed in at 18? we had no intent of alcoholic consumption, only pizza, yet we were left humiliated and shunned. pls don’t go here if you’re under 18. franco manco was kind. please make your policies clear online.

Clue is in the name - rude in all areas. What a disaster. Made a reservation here, no warning that those who are under 18 are not allowed in. 6 is us collectively spent £36 on train tickets, celebrating my friend’s birthday. They refused to let us in—no explanation, no apology. If you're going to have a policy about age, maybe try enforcing it before people show up, not after. And don’t even get me started on the lighting. It was so bad, I thought I was dining in a cave. I wouldn't recommend anyone waste their time here. Franco Manca’s is a MUCH better dining experience.

Went to Rudys tonight for the second time. I've been served Hamza both times; fantastic service. Can't wait to come back!

It took an unreasonable amount of time to get the food out and I was last. Literally 80% of other people in our group had finished eating at this point. The food I ordered never got to me and the waiter acted like it wasn’t his problem. Ended up having to settle for something different as that was what was left. We had to leave without dessert due to the slow service. Only rating atmosphere high because of the people I was with. Avoid.

5 stars for pizza taste. Absolutely yummy. Highly recommended… I went twice during my one week stay in Birmingham. I had triple pepperoni and then Cinghiale. Greetings from Pokhara, Nepal. :)

Casual rustic pizza spot with Neapolitan style pizza. Lots of different options for adding on extra toppings and great desserts. All of the dough is made in store and all ingredients are imported from Italy. Staff were friendly and the service was ridiculously quick. DOV: 15/01/2025

Visited as a table of 5 on a Saturday lunchtime.The restaurant was very busy but it was a great experience.Good service which was quick and unfussy,and really excellent pizza. I think this is the best pizza I’ve eaten in Bham,maybe the UK-I’d highly recommend Rudys.

Came here with my partner and a couple friends. The environment is nice expect its a bit loud and the staff are really nice. I 100% recommended the triple pepperoni. It is the best pizza I’ve ever had. The homemade lemonade is nice too. It was quite busy, which is to be expected on a Saturday night but it did not ruin the vibe.

I went there for small dinner meals, The things I was surprised is garlic bread that served like a kind of another pizza😆, it’s quite big I mean but it’s totally good one. Also had with beer and cocktails which is so good combination🥰

Amazing food every time here. We visited recently on a booking which was rescheduled due to a leak, the staff really stepped up and looked after us to make the visit flawless after the disappointment of having to reschedule due to a leak.

Food is always on point but service is consistently poor.

Visited on Friday 20th just before closing and the team managed to seat us in time before the chefs finished. Not been before but the pizza was excellent, as was the service. The negronis were spot on too! Special thanks to Johanna ✅

There was a long queue outside , even though we reserved a table we had to wait until the whole que was served before somebody was allowed to seat us , what’s the point of booking ahead then ? Other than that staff inside were great and food was nice .

Hamza was more than phenomenal in his service. He always provides fantastic customer service, and he is very polite and welcoming. He always serves with a smile and is very helpful. I could not ask for better service.

We had a booking for our Xmas Dinner whit Rudy's pizza's. We arrived at the specified time confirmed whit the Manager who booked us for 16pm. We arrived at the restaurant and wasn't now one at the host stand to welcome us... Not great impact . We order food and drinks . After a while the food came out from the kitchen. The pizza dough we didn't like and the waiting staff none of them explained us its meant to be soft and runny. Overall the dining experience whit Rudy's pizza's 6.5 out of 10 points.

We booked a table knowing this place would be soooo busy on the Saturday before Christmas. It was certainly hectic, but we were given a warm welcome and seated just where we wanted to be. The Staff are brilliant here. Nothing is too much trouble. Varied bar menu & delicious pizzas. We had a lovely time & will be back. Just one issue: the ladies toilets. Can we suggest you check them more often at busy times as they were such a mess that evening.

Came at Friday lunch, was my first time here as a friend recommended this. Staff were nice, pizza came out lightning fast and beer was cold. Had a blast. I had the triple pepperoni and the Lorenzo. Will recommend to friends looking for pizza as well!

Wow! The staff are so patient and knowledgeable (Gwen, Aira, Daniella, Renzo and the gang!) and start to feel like old friends by the second visit. The pizza is just like my Italian grandma used to make, delicious and generous and there are so many great options for people of different dietary requirements. What a fantastic atmosphere and a great bite out!

Excellent meal today despite the awful conditions outside and us not having booked a table, the team did great to accommodate us downstairs. Rhian(?) made the best tirimisu espresso we've ever experienced, shocked to hear not a great deal of people opt for it! Pizza was top notch as ever in our visits to Rudys. The only minor criticism.. we were on a long shared bench downstairs that was not counter balanced both ways so other patrons were continually swinging us violently towards our tables and at one point almost toppled it. A few extra beams underneath would do wonders as a H&S feature.

We had such a lovely time here for my birthday. It was a busy Friday evening but service was still quick and friendly. I had the pepperoni, which was the best pizza I’ve ever had. My boyfriend had the portobello which was also fantastic. The team were so helpful and smiley, especially our waiter Hamza. He made it a great evening and we will definitely be back.

Their open kitchen and their wood fire oven is peaceful to watch. I served Capricciosa Pizza and it was great, but I've had the best Pale Ale Beer in a very long time. They serve their own beet brand and it's fresh, refreshing with a citrus taste. I strongly recommend Rudy's Pale Draught.

My first time at this place, the pizza was really nice although a little expensive! Would love more desserts and starters to choose from!

Some are burned and some other ones they have like 5 pieces of mozzarella good job never ordering from there this is soo disappointed if you can't do the job quit.

I saw the branch in London but never tried before, I ended up here with my friend the day after a football game. We had antipasto with bufala to start and it was so good, the pizza Cinghiale was fantastic and I think is the first time in my life I find a place that sells wild boar salami on a pizza, spot on! We finished our lunch with a delicious tiramisu. A pleasant surprise to end our stay in Birmingham

Great place, excellent service (fast, attentive, charismatic). Even while the restaurant was fully booked, the guys were paying attention, bringing the food faster than we imagined and with a smile on their faces! And yes: the food is delicious, beautifully served and the portions are generous. Make sure you book a table, specially for Saturday night! Worth the visit!

I *love* Rudy's! Every time I go, the pizza is the best in Birmingham! The ingredients are authentic and high quality and the pizza is always so delicious. The servers are so welcoming, helpful and friendly as well. Both times I've been, Hamza was my server and I cannot sing his praises enough! I'd also recommend sitting at the tables near the kitchen where you can see the pizza being made and cooked in the pizza oven! I'd recommend the Romagnola pizza, the Rudy's kick ass Lemonade, and the garlic dip. Lovely atmosphere, lovely staff, reasonably priced, and the best pizza in Brum!

We recently visited Rudy’s Pizza Napoletana, and the experience was fantastic! We ordered four pizzas, and each one was bursting with authentic Neapolitan flavors. The crust was perfectly soft and chewy, with just the right amount of char, and the toppings were fresh and delicious. Although we received our pizzas before our drinks arrived (they arrived 2 minutes apart), the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, and it didn’t detract from the overall experience. The quality of the food speaks for itself, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Highly recommend Rudy’s for a true taste of Naples right here! Looking forward to coming back soon.

atmosphere was a bit dead but it was a wednesday early evening and it just made the service faster. food hits every time. we went again on a more busy night and they seated us quickly, the food still hit and service was quick enough, starters came quickly and service was keen. garlic dip is one of the best things about it

Food great. Service wasn't very "welcoming". Won't name or shame, but I suspect it wasn't all the staff, just one member in particular who dealt with us.

I went to Rudy’s on a staff trip after a long day and I was quite pleased with everything. Literally no complaints. The staff were friendly, and drinks came out quickly. I ordered a triple pepperoni pizza, but I switched to halal pepperoni. Admittedly my pizza at first came out with very few slices of pepperoni, but when this was brought to light the pizza was quickly rectified. The flavors were exquisite, the ambiance was nice, and I would highly recommend Rudy’s for either pleasure and/or business.

Rudy's Pizza is one of myself and my partners favourite restaurants! We will travel to Birmingham once every few months just to eat at Rudy's. The pizza is always 10/10 without fail. The dough is thin and chewy, the tomato is subtle and light, the cheese is perfectly melted. The dips are delicious and the drinks/cocktails are amazing too (shout out to the kickass lemonade). The thing we love about Rudy's is that the menu is small and the food is cooked in an open kitchen meaning Rudy's is focused on quality above all. The staff are always welcoming and the atmosphere is perfect for couples or groups. Highly recommend eating here.

Great atmosphere, incredibly quick for food to arrive, the capricciosa pizza was a little bit bland and a little undercooked. Very good, but not amazing.

I ordered the Carni, which was delicious and big enough, the dough was perfect, although the undercarriage should have been cooked a little longer as it was really flimsy and flip flopping all over the gaff 😂 Overall I'd give it a 3.8 out of 5 rating, great first date spot

The pizza felt a little undercooked but that is just personal preference. The servers were ok. Some parts of my pizza were a bit greasy. Overall it is a good place to eat but definitely not the best pizza. Haven't tried any other items.

This place has super quick food service. In fact our pizzas came before our drinks! The pizzas were lovely, lots of options, staff also help with suggestions and explanations. For drinks, there’s a full menu of all you could expect. The place could be quite noisy at times but you can still hear your table and enjoy your food. We would come back here again.

Cara was fab with us. We wanted a chill night out and I'd never tried this place! Food was absolutely incredible, came out so fast, service was friendly and helpful. Made me feel really at ease and was really cute in there

Heard so much about the Manchester branches but never tried until now. It was 5:30 and we just managed to get a table. They have a reservation system. The place was really busy, buzzing. The joke is that it will be nice when it is finished as it is of the trendy industrial style. Not keen on the loos but that aside we had a great meal and excellent service.
