Good food friendly staff , if the music could be changed for a better playlist would be perfect and maybe reduce waiting time for food :)

Tuna pizza too wet and pepperoni pizza too oily, the bottle sauces dirty and sticky. Service can be much better, people look like they don’t want to work. Good location and cheap but disappointed with the food and service.

Pretty tasty food with good prices, and welcoming staff! Very grateful for the gift - nice back tea with cinnamon as a gift for everyone, that was unexpected. The place always has a lot of people, big portions , and the best hummus I’ve ever tasted.

Their pizza is the best! Other dishes however is okay, the portions are more than enough for a person which I like, but it’s not special, my chicken was a bit chewy too, I visited twice and would come again but only for the pizza

An absolute wow of a place! The most delicious pizza I have had in a long, long time. The rest of my family had kebabs and they were gorgeous too. This restaurant is as good as it gets! A total halal gem in the city centre.

I liked the taste of pizza it was exactly the way i want, only the thing was there was no olive oil, chilli flakes because we were expecting it to be on table, it was our first visit to this place so we didn't know whether to ask server about it or we need to take those stuff from somewhere but without olive oil and chilli flakes also pizza was good i am impressed. Huge space and good atmosphere to be with family and friends.

A great food with a very helpful staff they serve absolutely everything you need in there.. the chips that they have is something out of this world. Strongly recommended restaurant .

The food was good but the service was really disappointing. It's my 2nd time being there, both times mistake on the food ordering. And some staff really need to be trained well. Chef and some of them very respectful but some...... we asked for water they gave us in a dirty glass so we asked for more water and ice then the staff said that we have to send 8y old kid to bring the glass of ice Upstairs??? Excuse me !!!! Why do we have to feel like we have been served for free? We didn't ask for a lot . What I'm saying is respect the customers the way you want to be respected as a customer in other places . Thank you.

Great atmosphere and brilliant service. Food was very nice. I wanted to give 4.5 for food but don't have the option. Service however was exceptional, especially by Huda. Kept her eye on us regularly and was ahead of the game at all times. Service with a smile. Will definitely be returning. Thank you 🙏

Not impressed. Over charged for mediocre food. Top it off everyone was offered tea but lady chose to ignore us. She even gave tea to two little kids opposite us. Won't be going there again

The best pizza i had in a while

Always amazing food here. Fresh and delicious. My daughter doesn't like pizza (gasp) so she gets the grilled chicken wings which are cooked to perfection. The rest of the family digs into amazing pizza each time. Wait can be a bit if busy but that's to be expected for fresh food. They recently opened up the upstairs to sit outside on the roof and it was lots of fun for kids to sit outside. Chips are spot on. Well cooked and crunchy and pizza freshly cooked and delicious. Have been going for years and will continue

Pizza number three (the chicken and cheese hotdog) is quite rich and abundant, I recommend sharing it between two or three people

I would rate it very fair at 4.0-4.2 the pizza is slightly better than your normal pizza food takeaway. - the wings are absolutely delicious! Charcoal wings!!!!! - the interior is okay, not bad but could do with an modest update. Overall I would say because of the amazing tasting wings! It is a 4.0 from the original 3.8 [ previous rating improvement as things have been resolved, getting rid of lazy staff and card machine/customer service improvement.

Great place to meet and eat with friends. Reasonably priced and in a reasonable located place in the Birmingham City Centre. Pizzas look delicious and freshly made on order but the Arabic main courses were the ones that took my interest. Fresh juices are made on order and certainly refreshing. Staff polite and friendly.

Had the most extraordinary grill mix in the UK at a very affordable price. The place is very nice and the atmosphere is extremely suitable for family and kids.

Lovely fresh food. The alcohol free tiramisu is a must. Customer service was very good. Our server was Huda was really helpful.

This is a great restaurant with helpful, smiley staff and delicious food. The pizzas are huge and stonebaked. The chips are excellent. We also really enjoyed the chicken shashlik with houmous and lovely vine leaves. The prices are very reasonable. An unpretentious, friendly atmosphere. I will be recommending this place to friends and family.

The food and the staff are lovely. But is not the cleanest place, especially the toilets need a bit of attention.

Halal Middle Eastern food with excellent service. The waiters and staff are happy to assist in selecting your menu. They specialise in grilled lamb and chicken with sides. Food is delicious with a good price standard for a restaurant in a city centre. They have seats for kids and would add more seats for adults happily if required.

We have only good good words for La Vera. Excellent service and food throughout! All staff very polite and helpful, took good care of our family in every aspect. The lamb kofta dish was of a great taste and very large, so no appetisers necessary. I ordered chips instead of rice and felt that it was the best choice! The natural juice out of this world and lots of range. Made there and then fresh. Environment generally clean, a bit more cleaning should probably be done at the toilet. Relaxing background music. The only downside? Nothing italian in there :)

Hidden Gem! I've been here a few times now and the Pizza is phenomenal. Rubbish pizza is accepted in the UK. Wood Fired pizza is a treat. It shouldn't be! It should be like this, it should be realy pizza! And thats exactly what you get at La Vera! Today I took my 6 year old son, a big critic whenever it comes to food, and as declared to the staff..... 1 Million out of 10. Wood fired pizzas usually come with a hefty price tag, I paid 7 quid for a Margherita, and its fantastic. The staff are very courteous, and they give you boxed should you not be able to finish the mammoth meals. Hidden gem of Birmingham, real pizza!

I am a pizza enthusiast and enjoy critically reviewing establishments. Worth highlighting that my review is based on one visit only, therefore please don’t go with solely what I have experienced. Well I and a friend visited this establishment last week in order to try the pizza. I ordered the pepperoni pizza (as usual) and some fries which to be fair was all reasonably priced. The pizza was cooked in plain site within a clay oven which was nice to see. The food did come to us reasonably quick and without hassle. The pizza itself was okay and cooked well. However, the crust got a bit hard and rubbery if not eaten straight away. The size of the pizza I would say was reasonable and fine for 1 person. The fries were nice but make sure you eat them hot otherwise they don’t taste as good. Also they do have condiments on each table, and therefore if you like mayonnaise etc with your pizza then you are covered. Also, if you require olive oil then you must ask as they do have it near the till/cutlery. The seating and decor was sort of bland and uninspiring but acceptable and clean. Staff were friendly and polite. BTW the kebabs on skewers looked appetising but didn’t try because I came to eat pizza not kebabs. Overall, the food won’t be winning any Michelin stars but it does the job.

Haven't been in ages and was disappointed to see most of the Italian menu gone but alhamdulillah the pizzas were really good ma sha Allah! Thin crust, cooked in a stone oven, yummy cheese! Decor doesn't look Italian at all. Friendly staff. My friend had grilled meat and it was very tender and tasty. Definitely worth going.

Always loved their foods of the way they are nicely made, especially the grilled ones. Service is great, but anything they run out after we ordered, would apologise and give us other options to choose. Highly recommend to go to.

Was exploring this area as originally planned to go to Al Arabi. However, my friend and I noticed La Vera as we walked past. It looked very busy and had plenty to offer on the menu. Al Arabi was essentially empty and only had 4 items on the menu with no menu board above the tills. The cashier looked uninterested and didn't utter a single word. My friend and I decided to go to La Vera instead. We were pleasantly surprised as there was lots to choose from on the menu. We chose some grilled meat dishes. They tasted very fresh. Didn't suffer any ill effects after and as the food was clean and fresh, didn't feel bloated either. Had a meal deal for less than a tenner! Can't go wrong, will definitely be back. Only criticism would be that the tables and floor could have been cleaned.

The employee was very racist, made an effort to ignore me and look at my friend, huffed and puffed when coming to my table, overall a very uncomfortable visit and will not be returning again.

the employee was being racist to my black friend, when my friend was ordering the worker refused to look at her or make eye contact eith her but only looked at me, even though i wasnt the one ordering. Very bad customer service
