The best restaurants serving Japanese food in West Midlands

Tuve una gran experiencia por el cumpleaños número 12 de mi hija, a quien le encanta todo lo japonés. Elegí el restaurante basado en el menú, la decoración y las críticas. No me decepcionó en absoluto. Había un ambiente agradable, tranquilo y acogedor. Pedimos un par de entrantes, incluyendo Hashimaki y Edamame Harumaki y para la alimentación mi hija tomó el ramen Tonkotsu mientras yo tenía Katsu al curry con pollo. Incluso nuestro hijo adoptivo con dieta restrictiva probó los entrantes y tomó un tazón de fideos, así que todos estábamos felices y llenos. El personal encantador trajo helado para los niños con una vela para el cumpleaños de mi hija. Este fue un final muy considerado para nuestra encantadora comida. Rara vez comemos fuera debido a la sensación de decepción cuando la comida que dice estar “cocinada en casa” sabe cualquier cosa menos. Sentí que todo estaba cocinado con ingredientes frescos con mucho cuidado y atención al detalle. Gracias, sin duda volveremos de nuevo.

Excelente comida y servicio. Nos cuidaron desde el momento en que cruzamos la puerta. Un montón de comida deliciosa que tuvimos que llevar a casa también, ya que no podíamos comer todo a pesar de que lo intentamos. Si no lo has hecho, vete, no te decepcionará.

Great food as always and service was good! I find wagamamas getting better and better for veggie options. I especially enjoy the vegan hot and sweet chick'n!

Recientemente visité Karaage en Resorts World Birmingham, y fue una experiencia absolutamente increíble de principio a fin! El restaurante tiene un ambiente cálido y acogedor con una decoración elegante que complementa perfectamente la deliciosa cocina japonesa. Lo más destacado de la comida fue, por supuesto, el pollo karaage, crujiente, sabroso y cocinado a la perfección. Cada bocado estaba lleno de un sabor rico, umami, y los tamaños de las porciones eran justos. También probé el ramen, que tenía un caldo profundo y reconfortante y fideos perfectamente cocidos. El té de burbujas era una adición divertida y refrescante a la comida! El servicio era de primera categoría! El personal era increíblemente amable, atento, y se aseguró de que teníamos todo lo necesario. A pesar de que el restaurante estaba ocupado, nuestra comida llegó rápidamente, y la experiencia en general fue suave y agradable. Si eres un fanático de la comida japonesa o simplemente estás buscando un buen lugar para comer en Resorts World, recomiendo encarecidamente el Karaage. La comida, el servicio y el ambiente lo convierten en un fantástico lugar para comer — ¡Sin duda volveré pronto!

The soup is delicious, the soup is very good, full of the flavor of 3-flower evaporated milk, the fried shrimp tempura actually has two shrimps, the others are vegetables, the sashimi is all frozen, every bit of it is fresh and delicious

Friend spoke very highly of here so stopped for Lunch. Waited 47 minutes for some supposedly steamed dumplings, the driest vermicelli with 5 slices off tough beef in and some spring rolls that out of the four served only had one cube of reformed chicken in. What really annoyed me apart from the fact it was freezing in there is that takeaway orders placed after our order were being done and sent out. 3 of them from what I saw and I’m not a mong, I saw the orders being put up and being runs through. Plus they get an extra 10% off. After the wait for a very below average meal, paying extra than takeaways that ordered after and were served first, being served the cheapest frozen dumplings you can buy from an Asian supermarket and microwave them in water with the driest vermicelli and worst spring rolls ever, I would never return. Staff were very happy and it was exceptionally clean on a positive. It was clean

The white chocolate and ginger cheesecake I ordered was amazing. Me and my friend also ordered the matcha which i recommend, it was really good.The presentation of everything was so good. We were served by Lessy and Emmy who were really friendly and positive towards us. I will definitely be coming back again :)

Most of the food was cold and the food that wasn't, tasted terrible. driver was rude aswell just awful chinese. Go to lucky star, much better!

We go every week but our last three visits have been poor. Today the restaurant was cold and draughty because both doors were open. My meal was cold by half way through. The pad Thai is now served with dried onion bits instead of chopped peanuts and it's cheap and horrible. Very disappointed. Will find another restaurant for our weekly meet.

Lovely little restaurant with fantastic food and friendly staff. This was our second visit here, and it has been a great experience both times.
